Hi all,
I think it will be good if we collect all the needed information regarding N930R together.
Right now for me main issues are root and how to modify US cellular LTE bands to make them compatible with European bands.

Anyone knows the specific network bands for the SGT LTE? For both the 4G/3G bands?
According to the Verzion website, it only states 4G and 3G/EVDO Rev A:

Was just wondering if it would work out of the US.
Quite a raving review for the it by Engadget...

My best guess is it will not work outside the US. Even in the US it will only work on the Verizon network, Carries in the US use different bands (CDMA and GSM) and different frequencies. Do a search for CDMA and GSM. Pretty sure Verizon use the CDMA band.
I am sure a Verizon customer can confirm this for us.
^LTE is based on GSM, and uses a simcard. Verizon's is a microsim. I believe their LTE runs on 700MHz. I suppose if you found a carrier that runs on that band overseas, it's theoretically possible.
It's not just the frequency spectrum that's different. CDMA and GPRS (GSM) can run on the same frequencies. It's the switching technology between the two that's the killer.
The Tab on Verizon also supports EVDO revisions A and B I believe, but that still doesn't mean it will work over-seas.
Generally speaking, other countries use GSM technology on any of four frequencies. The Verizon Tab is not GSM, and also does not support any of the four frequencies. I'd say it's definitely not possible for use internationally.

I've been wanting an upgrade from my G2x for a while and what I want, which is what everyone else wants, is the Samsung Galaxy S3. I don't know which model to get, being that there are so many models of the S3 depending on the service provider. Here's the situation: I'm on a t-mobile value plan, living in West Virginia (I'm a student) with the only service here is roaming on AT&T, thus I only get edge. Can I use a different model, like an unlocked AT&T, and then be able to use more than 2G? Then be able to get full 4G when I do go to t-mobile service area? (From the chart by forum moderator, it shows AT&T shares 1900 mHz, 2100mHz, HSPA+, so it should technically work with tmobile, correct line of thought?)
*I already know that unlocked international version won't be able to get on anything more than 2G in US, it having different radios.
Also, read somewhere that I could buy the AT&T model and be able to use international LTE networks. Is that true? Could someone here enlighten me about the issues with the radios/frequencies (for US) for S3?
Much appreciated. Tried to find this question answered somewhere, and couldn't so posting now.
Hello, first my apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but I looked around for awhile and couldn't find a specific US Cellular sub forum. I've done quite a bit of searching and have seen conflicting reports that this S3 was not compatible with the GSM network on T-Mobile and I've also seen that this phone was compatible on both CDMA and GSM once unlocked. Does anyone know if the US Cellular S3 can be used with T-Mobile somehow?
I'm thinking about buying a Galaxy S5 for my wife. We have T-mobile's extended range LTE support in our area.
I've heard conflicting things about the Galaxy S5 and whether or not it supports band 12 LTE. According to some spec sheets I've seen it does have voLTE support and that some custom roms can enable band 12 support?
Sorry new to this so any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
no.

Hello, I have a fairly difficult technicaly question regarding the Samsung S10 Lite. I recently purchased the S10 Lite (SM-G770U1 )and I am currently residing in Japan. To my surprise, I have learned that almost all carriers do not support the model that I have (listed above).
I have managed to find one carrier that I think might support the phone, but I am unsure whether the Frequency bands of my model are the ones listed by the carrier.
The bands that are supported in Japan are the 3G Band 1 (2100MHz) or 4G Band 1 (2100MHz) frequency.
Please let me know if these are supported by SM-G770U1 Model. Thank you so much in advance!
Name of the Japanese Carrier with the SIM information (thought it is very limited)
