[Q] Games[Android] support confusion

I own an Xperia sola ICS stock ROM [.54] not rooted and locked bootloader. It has 512 mb of ram and
380mb of RAM is available to me. It has a NovaThor 1 GHz Dual core processor and Mali 400MP
GPU. I've played several games on my android but cannot figure out why many games doesn't runs smooth on it.
And some gives bad graphics as it is a low end device for them.. But i cannot understand how??
I've Played NFS MOSTWANTED 2012 and Asphalt 7 on my phone but NFS MW has a better graphic display than Asphalt 7. I searched through
XDA i found that the originally made Hi end graphics are for devices like Xperia Z,ZL but when NFS is showing me the best Hi end graphics without a lag why can't Asphalt do the same.
I'd played DEAD TRIGGER on my phone which have highly Immersive graphics. Totally polished and somewhat they can be compared to PC games graphics. The game runs without any LAG on my
phone but MC3, MC4 lags like hell even when they shares a bit less immersive graphics than DEAD TRIGGER. And Brothers In Arms,It shows a white background and then force closes by it self on touching the screen.
I'd played Max Payne on my phone worked like heaven no lag no glitches but Battlefield Badcompany 2 lags on stge 3 and never works after stage 14.
I've played RPG games like Arlon, Ravensword both worked fluently but I m unable to play Miami Vindication it force closes on touching the screen
IRON MAN 3 worked for me with a bit and ignorable lag but Dark Knight Rises lagged like hell and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN throws to home screen after loading the first stage.
Frontline Commando works great but D-DAY lags and takes 5-7 mins to load.
Conclusion is why the games that i've compared with have comparitively lower graphics than the games that run on my device lags and doesn't work or are incompatible.
You must have Observed that GAMELOFT games rarely seems to be working on Xperia sola. But why.
EA games are all working like heaven
Mostly all the other developers work great
But why GAMELOFT games do not work..
ROOTING my device is one solution but this gives a reason for that developer to ignore dealing with the game betterment.

Slow 3D graphic on intel HD 520

Hello everyone, I have a HP spectre x360 with an i5 6200u, I have installed RemixOS 64bit on a partition and I tried Asphalt 8 , I saw around that should be running ok , but on my machine is not, the graphic is extremely slow, even if the LCD is actually 1920x1080 it should have any problem performance side, ram is ok , 8gb at this rate should be ok for the nex 2 android releases , RemixOS runs andord 4.4.x with is completly ok on my machine (wich is running ubuntu 16.04).
Any idea?

Severe graphical issues

Hi, I've tried running Remix OS off a USB stick on a pretty rubbish old emachines laptop with an AMD Athlon 2650e and a Mobility Radeon X1200. I get constant flickering and black triangles all over the screen. I get no issues if I boot with nomodeset but it is extremely low res and laggy. Any ideas on how to fix this? Cheers.
Yeah...no. Jide considers PCs as having Intel only hardware: Intel CPU and Intel graphics.
NVidia and AMD are not Intel so they are not PCs - so no support.
Really it should be called "Remix OS for old Intel laptops" instead of "Remix OS for PC".

Unfortunately, you're going to have to use nomodeset for the time being until more drivers are added to Remix OS.

But let's be complete in this answer. Using nomodeset when not having an integrated graphics card means CPU overheat as every simple and singular animation on the screen will be rendered by the CPU. Even if you have the best Intel Core i7 with Hyperthreading technology and latest overclocking ASUS or MSI gaming motherboards - it will be of no use. Your system will crawl while running Remix OS and the CPU will overheat.
Do not take lightly the overheat issue. I almost fried my CPU because I left it update all my Android apps with the Google Play Store on the screen. Remember all those download animations in the Google Play Store app while updating? Yeah...my CPU was screaming at 70-80 degrees for about 10 minutes. 10 minutes while updating 5 apps - because WiFi is also a ***** in Remix OS. Enjoy...

With a crappy Athlon processor using nomodeset seemed like everything was running at less than a frame per second. The thing gets hot enough as it is. I've tried Chromium, Remix and Android x86 and every one has the same graphics issue. Guess I'll have to go back to something like Linux lite. Even that manages to lag.

As I said before, go buy a Chromebook. It's cheap as a very old second-hand laptop and it works great. You will soon get Android Play Store so you'll be able to run all your favorite Android apps. Plus you will get guaranteed quality and an officially supported Google device. Throw away your old PC - you don't need it anymore. There's nothing to justify keeping it around. With Remix OS you'll always run into hardware issues. Get a new, cheap, properly supported device. 200 EUR for a new, good looking, fully supported and that will soon have all Android Play Store - what are you waiting for?
EDIT: sorry if that sounded like a bad and cheap commercial. It's just that I don't understand the need for a hacked, lacking, limited Remix OS when we have the official Google supported solution: Chromebooks.

[Q]Any way Minecraft Story Mode can work in our SGY?

Or no? coz we don't have a nice gpu driver?
Minecraft Story Mode requires the device to have either a Mali or a Tegra GPU which, unfortunately, the SGY doesn't have. The Galaxy Y only has a Broadcom BCM21333 with ARMv6 (If I'm not mistaken), in which is already abandoned by many developers as most devices already have ARMv7 or ARMv8.
I can't help you much with making the game working with your device, I already moved on with my SGY and I just use it as my little media server.
