Motorola Moto G2 Network Radio won't turn on - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Greetings all, in need of help,
My moto g2 says "error while searching for networks". I dialed *#*#4636#*#* and went into phone information and it says "GSM service: Radio off". I scrolled down and tapped turn on radio but the radio wouldn't turn on, how do i fix this?

what did you do with your phone before this matter happened?
You should take the sim out, enable flight mode, and reboot again, then disable flight mode and insert sim again.
hope this helps, or else there may be some problem with your sim (broken sim? you can take your sim you and check it again with other phones)

Problem with my OPTIMUS ONE. "No Network Issue" Please help !

Yesterday i put my mobile in the airplane mode and slept. Today morning when i switched back to Normal mode, I got the message "No Network Coverage.". But when i switched to settings and selected the network operator manually, i get vodafone for few minutes and again it reverts back to "No Network Coverage." condition. I even flashed my phone with KDZ Updator, flashed successfully but still "No Network Coverage.". Hard resetted my phone still "No Network Coverage.". Anyone help !
Wait for some more days and check again, or try in a area with good signal, for examplle : railway station, airport, etc

[Q] Q: Stuck on "Airplane Mode" ?

Hi guys!
This happened to me suddenly. A few hours ago I was able to get signal from my carrier, but then I suddenly can't send and receive calls or text messages. I tried to do the Airplane mode switch to refresh my registration on the network, to no avail.
I rebooted my phone then I cannot get any signal from my carrier anymore. I checked my Wireless settings and Mobile networks is grayed off, with Airplane mode checkbox ticked. I enabled WiFi and it got WiFi, so its not really on airplane mode! Then I untick the Airplane mode checkbox, its stuck on "Enabling Wireless Connections". If I wait a few minutes I will get a signal (Airplane mode unticked) but it still cannot send and receive calls.
If I switch the sim to another phone, it sends and receives just fine.

Sorry to hear that. It seems like something is wrong with your phone's radio since sim switching didn't work. About the part you stated: "I enabled WiFi and it got WiFi, so its not really on airplane mode!", is not true. You can/are able to use WiFi even if airplane mode in enabled. I do it all the time. Have you tried going in the "call" settings and checking those, maybe configuring the cell broadcast settings? Do so and I hope you'll solve your problem by this way or otherwise.
I doubt there is a problem with the radio. It's probably just a bug with the ROM.
You should try a clean install to see if the problem disappears.

can't enable cell radii

Running CM12.1 2015511-nightly. For some reason my phone says No Service even though I have a sim card. I googled it and I tried *#*#4636#*#* but I cannot enable my cell radio in the Phone Information menu (button dosnt change to "turn off" and I cannot select radio band (only option there is automatic and that gives me a failure message).
I would really like some help here. XT1023.

mipi error as well not able to register mobile network

I have a Galaxy S9+ Dual Sim variant (SM-G965F). Suddenly my device lost gsm connectivity. It's always on emergency calls only mode. then I tried to search manually for network operators from settings, it shows the operator list but it didn't register. Then I tried googling my error and suddenly came up with MIPI device failure. I will attach a screenshot that I found by entering *#0011# command. Is this a hardware or software fault? how can I fix this? Thank you.
if anyone idea pls text me +9167433352

Turning Call Radio off entirely?

Even without a SIM card, my phone detects cell towers and it leaks its IMEI number. Is there an app or a script or a mod (Pixel "Sailfish" here) that turns off Cell Radio entirely? Airplane mode supposedly does it, but it is unknown if it actually does it all the way...
