Hi,
My s6 is currently bricked. I had a custom rom but i decided to go back to stock so i re flashed the stock firmware (DPGW).I flashed cf auto root and it failed. I tried flashing prerooted kernel and it also failed. I can't access stock or twrp recovery even though i have flashed em a couple of times. I tried flashing the stock rom as well and it fails at sboot.bin so i tried to flash the the files in the stock firmware zip one by one and i aslo failed there while flashing cache.img hidden.img cm.bin modem.bin and system.img as well. The only 2 that got flashed were recovery.img andthe boot.img. Also tried with kies 3 and smart switch but the device can't been recognized by them. It's been about 2 days trying to fix up this mess. I can charge the phone when the battery drains but the battery icon doesn't appear. When i plug the phone in the charger it just takes me to the samsung logo. So that's pretty much what is with my device. Someone has any ideas on how to restore the phone PLEASE!? Don't wanna disturb anyone but i've been trying for about 2/3 days now. Someone please help, thanks.

[Q] GT-P7501: Stuck in "Downloading... Do not turn off target !!" [resolved]
Hi all,
I just bought a GT-P7501.
I was going to root it as described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239185
I ended up with a flickering CWM recover version 4. Flashed with Odin a version 5 from overcome. Same flickering...
And then something must have gone terribly wrong...
I now cannot flash anything via Odin anymore. The tab starts and sits then with a very small percentage display in "Downloading...". Odin stays at
<ID:0/010> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/010> recovery.img

When I boot normally I get "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." Kies does not allow me recovery mode though.
(I can (at least occasionally) boot into the stock by fiddling with the flickering CWM recovery.) Not anymore, I cannot get into recovery.. :-(
Any hint, how to resolve this?!?! I am desparate.

Using a TAB GT-P7500
Got the same problem, after trying to update to ics with KIES. It stopped in the beginning, and cant do anything else anymore.
Tried draining the tab, didnt work. Tried almost everything and it doesnt work so it seems. I will try to flash it with the recov tar. If you could tell me how you did it. Just flsh it in ODIN?
edit*
Tried flashing the recov.tar in ODIN, doesnt work it seems. Maybe it is time to throw my tab out of the window, its getting annoying
Okay, ive managed to flash the recovery tar, yet when i want to flash a stock rom it still freezes after a few seconds (attached screenpic). I can get into the overcome cwm recovery, and wipe everything, yet after that i can still not flash a rom, it will be stuck at hidden.img.
Anyone any idea on what to do next?
Two choices: copy a ROM to your storage, flash a custom recovery and boot into recovery and install the .zip from your SD card
Or, Odin to stock.

Can't reach internal storage, it will only see the tablet as an apx. Odin to stock keeps on freezing. Drained my tablet now completly, will try it again once i recharged.
Odin to stock doesnt work, not with a pit file, not without, it will still freezes at hidden.img and then do nothing again.
Well, send it to samsung for repairs, they will fix it under guarentee.
I have a G925F.
I recently rooted it and wanted to try a custom ROM.
I rooted using the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...p-recovery-2-8-7-1-g925f-android-5-1-t3144866
I tried to instal this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...edge-g925fxxu1aocv-v1-0-deodex-aroma-t3102974
After the ROM installation the phone was stuck on boot loop and I thought flashing the stock firmware would be a good idea. I wipe the phone on TWRP and tried to flash the stock firmware on ODIN but the process stops at NAND Write Start then it fails. I thought I needed the PIT file so I scoured through the forum and found that I could just delete the hidden.img. I did that, used the toolkit and tried flashing but stops at cache.img and fails and when I tried again it fails at NAND Write yet again. I have yet to find a forum on this. Could I get some help with this? Or could anyone provide me with the PIT file?
Hello, today I tried to install the stock firmware for my SM-G925F instead of having my rooted ROM, so that I could use apps like barclays and snapchat. This wouldn't work on odin, and my error is as follows:
<ID:0/004> sboot.bin
<ID:0/004> FAIL!
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004>Complete(Write) operation fail
So because this didnt work, I used TWRP to wipe all data, hoping it would wipe the ROM, but it didn't. After I did this I went back into TWRP and tried to power off my device through there, but my device just froze, with the power off button highlighted. I think the kernel from the ROM doesn't allow booting from TWRP, but I can't boot normally. I can still go into download, TWRP and normal boot mode, though. Is there any chance you guys could give me some advice on how to get my device up and running again, even if it is on the ROM I used to root my device?
UPDATE: I tried to use odin again, but it is stuck with setting up connection, might be the drivers I used to try ADB sideloading the ROM, I'll see if i can fix this

sboot.bin fail means your trying to downgrade which will not work. All you need to do is just flash the correct firmware.
By the sounds of it you have wiped the ROM off the phone. Which ROM was it?
Just flash this stock ROM again
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/106963/G925FXXS4DPJ2_G925FBTU4DPH1_BTU/
Then flash TWRP
https://dl.twrp.me/zerolte/
Then flash cf autoroot through odin.
https://download.chainfire.eu/737/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.zip
I tried to flash that rom, but it failed after hidden.img. Now my device is saying 'An error has occured while updating the device software'. Is it possible to use smart switch to recover from this? I don't mind having an unrooted phone.

Either use smart switch
Or
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t-files-multi-thread-download-t3171636/page10
Go to this thread to 1st page. Download g925f pit file zerolte_eur_open.
In odin options click pit and insert the downloaded pit file. Then insert the firmware and flash again. You will not get hidden.img fail and it will flash.
Hello today i made a call and bought an s6 edge in a bootloop situation.
When i first took it in my hand i tried to get into recovery mode but that wasn't possible as i took a no command screen.
Then i Tried download mode which was ok.
I downloaded the latest nougat stock rom i could find on samy and tried to flash via odin i took an error when tried to flash hidden.img
After a research on net i tried to pull off hidden.img and gave it a flash, after reboot it got me to an updating screen, then erasing then bootloop again.
Tried to flash firmware without hidden.img inside, flash was succesfull but bootloop again.
After sometime when i was letting phone hanging on screens while searching, i noticed that from no command in got into recovery but after sometime it freezes(seems the weirdest thing to me).
Now downloading repair firmware with SamFirm tool and will give it a try but i'm not sure about the .pit files
I've read here that is the best way to permanent destroy devices but i don't have much hopes for that phone tbh :/
Update.
I tried the latest repair firmware with no success.
(Getting always stuck in erasing screen)
Also can't access recovery no more,i cannot pass the no command screen.
After i noticed that i cannot also access recovery i flashed ZEROLTE_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN240M.pit along with the repair firmware.
Again i stucked at erasing screen.
After that i found a tar file with the stock recovery
Tried to flash it with odin but i get a kernel rev check fail device 2 binary 1 guess i need a newer file .
Hi guys, I really hope any of you could help me, the thing is I have a S9+ G965F, I lost mobile signal and always had "Emergency call only" I flashed the last firmware with ODIN and it went all the process fine but the phone does not boot up, it keeps on the Samsung logo, I have tried many firmware and the process finish as well but keeps on the same screen, i have perfomed a Wipe on stock recovery with no luck, I can flash a TWRP and install a custom rom but got the same result, even I have used the pit file for repartition, any clue?
Thanks.
My feedback is for @BIOKNOX he fixed my firmware and my imei. Thanks a lot man
