Words of Advice
Don't download / flash the OTA updates no matter how tempting it might be. Instead download and flash from this OP if on this ROM.
If you do download and install an OTA update it will crash, just download the latest update from this thread and flash, it should restore you back to normal.
Remove PIN, password, fingerprint or other security before making backups in TWRP.
If you restore a backup that has security and are unable to get back into your phone please see the following:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/psa-twrp-backups-lockscreen-security-t3245070
In my opinion this is daily driver material. Everything works flawlessly. Great for those whom like a stable daily driver while keeping it simple.
With that being said, there's NOTHING wrong with any of the other ROMs I build or that are posting on XDA. I'm just stating my personal opinion.
#StayParanoid my friends!
UPDATE DISCLAIMER
If you're coming from an older build please clean flash to avoid any issues.

I'm on January's and its working fine
So far running nice and smooth. Only issue is small popping like sound from the speakers randomly. Thought maybe it was the kernel so flashed a different one and still get it. Thanks for your hard work compiling this for us.

That's odd. That was a problem on older test builds (been compiling aospa for months now lol) and the reason I released it finally because it was fixed for me.

No big deal. Seems to not be as often if I disable touch sounds. Still a great running ROM. No force closes with full dynamic gapps. But so far like you mentioned the only mod is immersive mode.
F2Fs compatibility?

Yea, before it was loud pops every several seconds lol. I'm gonna check it out when I have time or hopefully the pa team beat me to it.
Like I said though its no longer happening to me so it may be something triggering it. The only pa specific feature is immersive mode but like I said they have invested tons of resources into optimizations to make it smoother/faster. So for anybody looking for a minimalistic optimized ROM I def suggest checking this out.

I'd have to add that to the kernel side of things. I looked into the benefits a year or so back and they were pretty negligible but if there was a demand for f2fs support I'd be happy to add it.
Runs great so far.
+ to the popping noise
Also I thought the latest vendor image was NMF26J, however had to flash NMF26F to boot without the usual vendor associated error message.
I used paranoid for a while on my Note 3, loved it. Can't wait till my USB-C flash drive gets in tomorrow to start flashing things! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these ROMs.

The popping sound has something to do with either the device sources or pa's caf qcom sources (which I'm not very familiar with tbh) but I'm doing what I can to figure out a fix.
Main obstacle is I'm building on a laptop which really slows the whole process down lol. Luckily its very faint and happens rarely. I did have it happen once in the past 2 days

Is OMS support ?
Wow! My favourite ROM....ever! Can I ask what the colour profile is on the stock kernel? They are so much better than some profiles I've used.

Do you have this: https://github.com/AOSPA/android_vendor_pa/commit/45b9ea0532e7822879ad3da4f29a23218d1430b7
Check the Hal itself too to make sure it synced the AOSP branch. I don't have the device, but my tester says it was fixed.
These are exclusive releases to devices Poco F1/MI 8/Mix 3/2S. Nobody can guarantee these to work properly on any other device. Please don't spam this thread requesting the port to some 'x' device. You can search for the similar thread in your device forum and report any bug/request there to find similar users. At least mention the device name if you're talking about any other device other than the mentioned ones above. Update the device before installing it.

-Shadows should look lot better now sacrificing some sharpness
-Pics quality compared to BSG depends on your personal preference.
-Video focus is slightly more reliable in my testing but not perfect. (You need to press the back button while exiting the app instead of minimizing it as video focus turns mad if restored the app from recents obviously because of Xiaomi libs.)

MGC_6.1.021_F1_V1.7
-Mostly cosmetic changes + added new custom lib(Xlib V2) and removed some useless ones to get apk smaller.
-Xlib V2 is tuned with I phone XS Smart HDR in mind. Personally I like this one more than Pixel default lib because it doesn't crush shadows and maintains natural colors like I phone XS along with the magical Pixel HDR+ algorithm. It's like the best of both worlds but feel free to test before settling on one. (Thanks to Xtrme)
*Now GCam's exposure slider should work fine and it will not conflict with manual focus slider at any time.

-Forced Sabre Merge (Super Res Zoom), better quality and less noise on pictures shot with zoom.
-Slightly faster processing in all input models.
-Removed useless settings.
-Removed old custom libs and added new ones.
-Fixed Google Lens.
-Changed Package Name so no conflicts with other apks.
(More minor changes and stuff I forgot to include.)
(Manual sliders are still present:
For Focus slider: Select distance (right slider) and tap once on viewfinder to refocus. If you don't want to use it leave it on Auto.
ISO/Expo slider (left slider): To use it you need to switch to HDR+ Enhanced and enable Savitar V2 custom lib from settings. After doing that you can select the option you like and shoot pics freely. In case you forget to select Savitar V2 and you are stuck with black viewfinder, clear cache of GCam. If you don't want to use the slider leave it on Auto.)

Users with MI 8 experiencing faded colors due to MIUI firmware issue can set saturation of Highlights - 2.0 and Shadows - 2.2 which is recommended by many.)

HDR+ & portrait works
This makes the device POCO F1/MI8 as one of the first Snapdragon 845 device to support portrait in Gcam even before the pixel 3 release. Thanks to the great work by B-S-G.
Sep 17, 2018
Initial test release with HDR+ & Video working. Portrait takes time to fix as it isn't working on any of the Snapdragon 845 devices and expecting it to change with the upcoming Pixel 3 release.

Thanks. This camera takes very solid low light pictures compared with the stock one.
It's a nice update in quality but, does anyone experience faded colors? Everything except the front selfie camera has washed out colors and very gray like tones.
Does this version works in AOSP roms too?

That's weird, there are multiple Pixel 4 users on Telegram that don't have issues with it. Could you get your phone working again and then do the following: reboot, go into developer options, tap bug report, share the bug report via gmail, then email it to [email protected]. I removed support for prototype versions of Pixel 4 but maybe I removed support for a Pixel 4 variant that's in production.

If I find out what version it is I can just add support back. Do you think I should add back support for all of the different prototypes, or is there only one prototype version circulating around?
Also, how did you even get a prototype?

New build is up with some fancy under-the-hood improvements.
The January 28th kernel has been reuploaded as a January 29th build because i messed up the 28th build. If you managed to get the 28th build before I removed it, please install the 29th build. Cheers.
Just discovered that I made another small mistake in the update, so I've uploaded it again as a January 30th build.
I made another derp that broke some system-wide sound effects (such as touch sounds), so I've uploaded a new kernel with the bug fixed. We're living in the future now, boiz.
New build is up.
New build is up with overheating fixed.
I learned that the DP out function has been soft-disabled by Google, even though the USB-C port supports it. Any chance of enabling that in the kernel?

Idk, it might need ROM support. I'd have to test it, but more likely than not, it isn't as simple as you may think.
New build is up with the March fixes and lots of performance improvements I made.
hi, silly question, after flashing, can i lock the bootloader again ? (supposing i temporarily installed TWRP just for flashing) otherwise, any way to get google pay working ? thanks

Usually not a good idea re-locking the bootloader with non-official software.
You can pass safetynet and use google pay with magisk and a couple modules, if you need more info you can take a look at a post I wrote some time ago, should still work fine now.
As of today, there is also a new useful module: universal safetynet fix. I have installed them all, and I can use gpay just fine
Thank you for your answer. however i never managed to install this kernel using TWRP since TWRP only supports android 10, not 11, so recovery got stuck on splash screen. So basically until we get TWRP support for android 11, no other way to install this kernel without root ?

We are looking to having android 12 urgently as we are testing android 13 on our pixel 6pro, not happy with software support from OPPO
maybe oppo is waiting for Android 12L to be released ? (for foldable devices)
I am sure they will rollout Android 12 soon as our device is the premium flagship for Oppo.

Yup that make sense
Just got PEUMoo_11_A.16... Still Android 11...
This bites as there are features that are available on Android 12 that WON'T work on Android 11...
Thought this was a flagship device...
I know that they're waiting for the version of Android that supports foldables but why haven't they upgraded us to 12 now.? Just as easy to update from 12 as 11...
