G900T LTE Modem Marshmallow - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hello, I flashed pheonix rom, flashed Bootloader and Modem, but I dont have LTE connection, everything else works fine. It is problem with modem flash or somewhere else ?

The modem/bootloader in the Phoenix thread is for the international model (900f) I believe.
Personally haven't tried his rom, but if you have the Tmobile MM modem and bootloader, it supposedly works. Excluding Wifi calling of course.
Sent from my SM-G900T

I also flashed G900T modem and bootloader, but I think this modem doesn't have LTE. Where could I find LTE modem ?

Some roms display 4G instead of Lte.
Sent from my SM-G900T

Is there a download link for the marshmellow bootloader and modem?
I'm currently running Phoenix but it's older lollipop version. I'm wanting to go to the latest Phoenix.
I'm assuming I need the mm bootloader and modem?
As noted above Phoenix Rom shows 4G and not LTE.

Stock Modem/Radio [Q] [AT&T/TELUS]

Hi Everyone
I think my cell reception has gotten worse since flashing the OC Kernal. Did it have any modem changes associated with it?
Currently Im running this modem(baseband): 1717DTLLA2. but im note sure what the stock modem was or if that is the stock modem,beacuse...
I think.... it was running the UCLA3 modem at stock...does that mean I can flash the At&t modem?
Can someone with a Telus / AT&T Note verify this. Arent we both on Hspa+ so should they should be identical modems?
*P.s...if a dev sees this pls make us CWM compatible zips of the stock telus radio /rom!
Thanks!

[POLL] What update are you on?

What update are most Verizon LG G3 users on 10b, 11c, or 12b?
I am rooted on 10b. Very happy and not interested in rom's. Although I will bump and use a stock rom as soon as there is an update I want that I can't root or can't roll back.
Rooted on stock 12b via OTAs. Yes, rooted. Just ensure SuperSU has the "Survival Mode" setting checked and you do NOT have TWRP installed and it will preserve root through the 11c to the 12b OTAs. Also, don't have installed anything like Xposed, Busybox, etc. Not sure if those would affect it, but they have on other phones.
I had stock 10b rooted, no frozen apps, nothing removed, etc. Took the 11c OTA, then the 12b OTA and each time, root as still there.
I am rooted and on jasmine 4.0 with 12B modem and SkyDragon 2.72 kernel. System is heavily modded via Xpose. This combo is fantastic imo.
Rooted, running the 12b modem and system, 11c boot.

While a poll is essentially asking a question, it's not a question for help and thus is allowed in the general section. To make sure it's not confusing to some users, I've changed the title.

Did you get the 12b modem from Jasmine?
Are you in an extended network?
If so did you notice a difference in the network?

Yes I did, I'm on US Cellular at the moment, but data has always been insanely slow at 1x.
10b and loving it. Gonna possibly flash the fix for the blurry text and the new radios. Will do lollipop when it has more xposed framework support .

How is hotspot, camera, bt, and radios?
Running JasmineROM 4.0 (12B) with SkyDragon kernel 0.2.7.4 as my daily driver. But I've got a few LP nandroids that I switch between for some fun. Running the stock rom mainly for camera features tbh
Also can we see some screen shots of the dialer thanks
AOSP all the way! Anything less is less than this great phone deserves! Running the latest Illusion rom and it's the best LP rom out there at the moment, IMHO.

Wifi works good. I updated the google cam to latest one and its ok, not as good as stock but ok. Everything else works good for me. I just found the LG quick remote app for 5.0.x

Never took an OTA update. Went from stock 10b to rooted, bumped with TWRP, then flashed custom ROMs. Tried SkyDragon, CM 11, now have been using SlimKat 4.4.4 for weeks. Awesome ROM and does everything I need it to (along with compatibility with Xposed).

Did you mean unlocked bootloader ? All Sprint Note 3's have an unlocked bootloader. Or did you mean internationally unlocked ?
You need to install roms that are set up for the carrier you are using i.e. SPRINT AT&T etc. Now the other you have to be aware of is what your current of KK is. NC5, NH7, or NK4 ? That will determine what tom you are going to be able to run. If you are on say NC5 then you what to use an NC5 based rom. If you on NC5 and you what to run a rom based on NK4 then it would be best if you flash and root a stock NK4 OS. Then flash the custom NK4 based rom you want. To determine what a rom ids based on look in the OP thread it will be there. The only exception is an AOSP based rom like CM or C-Rom here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739968 this rom will run on your device and it is not sprint. For more info click my signature. Enjoy !!!

The baseband needs to be within the version of the OS. Meaning, for instance if your running KitKat the basebands are 4.4+ NC5, NH7, and NK4. If you tried to flash a rom that is older ( like ICS 4.0 with a baseband of MJ1 or MJ4 ) the bootloader will not let you do it. If you went to Lollipop your baseband will be 5.0 something still to new to say exactly. Think of the baseband as a antenna, some guys will run a rom with a NH7 base and a NK4 baseband because they get better signal. You will have to try different and see which baseband works best for you, every phone is different, and every area people live is different.
As far as whether to use GSM OR CDMA that depends on which carrier you are using now. The device will run on both signals. So if you are using a carrier like Sprint you will need a CDMA based rom, if you are using a carrier like AT&T you will need a GSM based rom.

Theoretically yes, but in reality no. Lets say you installed a Tmobile rom on your Sprint N900P. It would most likely boot up but you would have no signal because the baseband that came with Tmobile rom would trying to connect to a Tmoblie cell tower. So if you have your service with Sprint and not Tmobile it's going to try and verify an account with Tmobile that does not exist.

Thanks bud. I flashed the latest kit kat radio and it worked for a bit on cloudy 1.2.. Then force closes up couldn't do anything.. I saw the signal dropping so I reflashed and no good still. Went back to lollipop via sky dragon and this looks pretty damn good.
She needs a stock rom. Nothing built from source with bugs so this may be my best bet.

[ROM] AT&T OF2_5.0 Stock, Deodexed, Rooted ROM for G900T

Download:
- G900A_OF2_Stock_ROM_for_G900T
Instructions:
- Flash with TWRP (knox 0x1) or FlashFire (knox 0x0).
- No need to wipe, the ROM will perform a factory data reset during the flash. Backup your User Data prior to flashing.
- The ROM requires a 5.0 bootloader therefore you must be on the OB1 or OF6 bootloader for it to run.
- Allow 10 - 15 mins for first boot.
Tip: For faster speed turn off animations from Developer Options!
Optional:
- G900A_OF2_TetherAddOn
- G900A_OC4-OF2_Batch_DeBloater (Customizable)
Kernel:
- G900T, stock, OB1 kernel
Known Issues:
None!
Uploaded new ROM using the G900T stock, OB1 kernel, instead of the G900A OF2 kernel, for better battery life. The ROM required a couple of minor tweaks in order to work flawlessly on the stock OB1 kernel. Those that downloaded the original ROM may want to download the latest version.

Why not? As long as it works properly, I'm all for devs using a different rom base to create something new. I'm using one of the ATT custom roms on my G900T right now.
Of course, if you NEED wifi calling, this isn't the rom for you.

I use TWRP. I suppose you could use Flashfire also, but I've never tried it. I also just replied to your PM.
