Since updating V10 to the newest Marshmallow build I realized that when i am on a call I cannot access the rest of the phone...More specifically I cannot use the navigation buttons while in call. Is there a way to disable this...thanks
How did you update?

Hello folks,
it is not a big problem but it is annoying.I like the fact that you can put your phone on mute with the notification bar.The problem is when i put it on mute or vibration it just turns of the ringing sound. When i get an SMS or when i am on gtalk chat the "whistle" still is on.My Android version is 4.1.2. stock rom international version.

I havne't this problem. I use ARHD ROM, but in settings you can select silent ringtone.
I'm just looking for a simple app that will enable this feature, I was trying Smart Call Accept it worked but it annoyingly stopped the phone from ringing 3 seconds into the call...
I just want a simple app like that that will allow me to accept calls by saying "Hello" or whatever, tried Utter it had the option but didn't work and was toooo feature rich, I rarely and barely ever used S Voice so why would I need another like that that I'd hardly fully use.
Anybody got any suggestions, I'm doing this to get rid of the swipe to accept incoming calls on this phone, if it had the tap accept/reject button feature I wouldn't even be looking for a app to do what I'm asking now.
Thanks
I have a new Verizon LG Stylo 2v. I would like to be able to answer calls using voice only and put it on speaker phone. There is an app called "Voice Answer Free" and it worked fine on my Samsung Note 3 but I am unable to get it to work on the new LG phone.
It requires me to go to Settings - Sounds and Notifications - Notification Access and place a check mark next to the app name. On the Samsung it was very easy to do. On the LG Stylo 2v there is no "Notification Access" on the list in the same directory. I called Verizon support and they acted like they had never heard of this setting and had me call LG. They also had no idea what I was talking about and asked me to call Android. They did not know anything about it and told me to call Verizon.
The Samsung is on android 5.0 Lollipop and the LG is on android 6.0 Marshmallow so this difference may be the problem.
I just need to have the ability for my aunt to be able to answer her phone while it is on her lap without touching it, voice only.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hello,
I am having a problem with incoming call interface of stock android oreo. I'm new to XDA, i heard, here are great Android developers who can solve almost anything with android. I've Nokia 5.1 Plus device which is based on android one.
I usually keep phone in my front pocket of shirt. As the incoming call interface of Stock Oreo, if you swipe down anywhere on screen, it'll reject the call. So when i pick up the phone from front pocket, sometimes it got swiped down and reject the call! (Idk why this happen only to me ).
So i wanted to know is there any solution to change the incoming call interface? I do not want to install custom rom, because it will destroy warranty. I tried some apps from playstore (like i call slide etc) which change interface to swipe right to answer. But idk Android kill this app sometime and it shows old Oreo incoming call screen! Can anyone help me with this problem with permanent solution. I heard about substratum which let us allow to use themes without root, does these themes also change the incoming call interface?
Thanks in advance,
Hello!
I've tried to find an answer to my problem in this forum, but no luck. I'm on stock Pie, latest build for the Nordic region XXU2CSC8. SM-G965F. No root.
Under Oreo, when making calls to the last dialled number over my car Bluetooth device (ST Buddy R20) , the display would wake up, showing details of the person I was calling. A nice feature which gave the opportunity to verify that I was actually calling the person I wanted. Under Pie, the display does not wake up when making a call the same way. It wakes up, however, when hanging up (still via the Bluetooth device). Is this normal? Am I missing a setting somehow? Is it possible to change settings somehow giving me the same function that I had under Oreo? I'm thankful for any input.
