@flar2 does this have the fix to bypass bootloader unlock check like some kernels for the Nexus and Sharkey here for the Pixel in order to pass safety net?

enable insecure adbd and disable dm-verity
@flar2 Since we don't have root and TWRP, can you enable insecure adbd and disable dm-verity, please?
I want to mess with system partition via adb...
nice to see you already working on this kernel
wonderful! flashed to boot_a (according to boot slot displayed in bootloader). DT2W working perfectly, thanks!
Flashed 0.03 and working a treat. ^_^ Do like the sweep functions.
Hey @flar2 I checked "About" and says ElementalX-0.02 even though I flashed 0.03. This just a typo?
It's great to have you here flar2!

Nice to see you here. Htc one m7. Nexus 6 and now the pixel. Thanks for your work here on xda
I hate to spam your thread but AWESOME. Love your work on the Grouper and Flo, stoked to see you working on the Pixel XL. And I do miss tap to wake for sure. Makes me wish the fingerprint sensor was on the front of the device.
Thanks for all of your work flar - really appreciate it!!
@flar2 Do you think high brightness mode will work with the pixels? I used that constantly with my 6p

The sweep gestures (especially sweep up) are far superior to double tap. Double tap interferes with phone calls, sweep doesn't. Double tap cause accidental wakes, sweep up rarely ever does (we won't have pocket detection without a userspace comment on this device). Double tap can be unreliable, sweep up works every single time.
You rock flar2
hey flar..will you also make this available for the pixel..

-A complete lack of aptitude for kernel development (see the download link for the configuration and tweaks)
Useful Links
-Thanks to reaper90 for providing an init.d template
Thanks to maxwen for a few bits of source code and generous help, hasoon2000 for his toolkit, and nik3r for his kernel module injector and the walkthrough he gave me to use it correctly, and a few other bits of source code. Mostly thanks to HTC for releasing the source! Thanks to Notechis for the artwork above. General thanks to LLoir who appears to be helping everywhere, and mike1986 for ARHD. Thanks to the community here, and my old haunt, the Nexus S section: without them I would still be less than an almost complete idiot.

TOOLCHAIN: I'm going to do my best to stay up-to-date with the linaro toolchains courtesy of Christopher83: his thread (4.8.* are not yet compatible, use the latest 4.7.*)
v1.0 is here: http://d-h.st/7db
CoreManager.apk is here: http://d-h.st/R5l
-after rebooting, remember to open/save+exit to restore your preferences
-Please grant super-user permissions
Version 1.0 Notes
This version has the same features as the 3.4 version of my international version. You'll need to use the app above to set your preferences, and please feedback if there are problems, and feel free to ask any questions.
My kernel config
-Slide to Wake [S2W]
-Hotplugging with a user defined limit (using the above app)
-The low power core is prevented when awake, and the high-power quad-core is forbidden when the screen is off. This is to ensure performance when the screen is on, and power-saving when it is off (+ there is a two core minimum when device is awake)
-smartmax governor by maxwen
-added fast-charge to kernel (thanks maxwen)
-added BLX (thanks ezekeel)
-Available IO Schedulers: BFQ, CFQ (as default), Deadline, NOOP, SIO, ROW, and V(R).
-Miscelaneous tweaks: ticket based rwsem algorithm; Google's tcp proportion rate reduction algorithm; cifs; zcache with latest LZO; SLUB
Reserved in case I need it later
I noticed after flashing kernel looked in system /lib /modules nothing in there empty??? Everything is working far as I can see..edit I will flash it again didn't see v1.0 downloading it now to try

V1.0 has better performance to date guess that's what I'm really after.anyway..haven't been following ur thread from beginning so I may be trying to catch up is it normal to see module folder empty after flashing these kernels..also this feels smoother then all the other kernels for at&t .lol hope to get some OC soon
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda premium
It's already OC'd to 1.7GHz (it should be 1.6GHz)
GPU OC I'm still thinking about
I normally use fastboot for kernels instead of hasoon2000's toolkit (it's a great toolkit, I'm just a CLI junkie). is this just the same "fastboot flash boot hxore_v1.0_ATnT.img" then "fastboot erase cache" and call it a day?
EDIT - I went ahead and did the above and it seems to have went well, so far so good. The only weird thing I noticed is that the capacitive buttons seem to be a lot less sensitive than before. they dont register most taps. have to really ham-fist them.
Running smoothly here! Awesome will see what happens after using this for a day!

Is it just a case of needing precision when tapping the centre of the button?
Yes, fastboot, but erase cache is not necessary
After some tinkering it seems like its probably a precision issue. Like the hotspots for the buttons are a little too far north or something.

Also is there any place I can read up on some reference info for the Core Control apk? like what impact the hotplug and charging limit setting have
EDIT - did some hunting and found some descriptions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41686727&postcount=321
I am also having problems with the buttons not registering when i press them..gunna go back to the stock kernel for now til this is fixed...other than that is seems to be going great!
I'm sure I can figure out what the problem is. I'll have a look later today

I'm not sure what slide to wake is, but the capacitive buttons still has no feedback and it takes a lot of pressing to use them. But when screen is off, rapidly pressing the back & recent application capacitive buttons turns the screen on

Ah it works! Btw, the capacitive buttons works but you have to swipe across it until you feel a vibration.

I've actually flashed Zarboz's custom kernel and associated modules a while back so should I revert back to stock?

No need to worry about the modules, it's dealt with by nik3r's injector

I still can't hit the buttons like I usually do. The hotspots still seem to live a little north of where they're supposed to. I kind of have to roll my thumb up from the bottom of the screen till it registers the tap on the buttons, it's close enough to the "real" screen area that trying to hit the hotspots usually ends up hitting something on the active part of the screen instead (like the app tray or the text message icon)
Bacon flavored Lollipop! Finally
CM12 is still in active development. But hey it builds now.

Minor changes have been made.
Changes over stock CM12:
Lollipop Boot Animation.
[*]Enabled Ambient Display (think Peek, or Moto's Active Notifications) (will work on that again)
My Gapps package:
Removes AOSP apps (Browser, MMS, VoiceDialer, Launcher, Calendar and Keyboard) - They are replaced with Google alternatives
Includes more Google apps (Drive, Keep, Maps, Youtube. Play Music, Google+. Calendar, Camera, Chrome, and Keyboard) - Remember these are stored in /system partition so its saves you space in /data/
Bugs:
Minor instabilities might occur.
Source:

Paranoid Android is an aftermarket custom ROM built upon AOSP
but with several enhancements from upstreams
like CodeAuroraForums.
New Features:
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.

From official Paranoid Android team :
"We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.

Syberia Project (aka Syberia OS) is a custom ROM that implements various features. This project was designed by our "Syberia Team" from scratch based on AOSP source code. Also for HALs we use CodeAurora sources (i.e. CAF). Our team: @blinoff82, @DennySPB, @alexxxdev. Also many thanks to our designer @rlshukhov for logos, wallpapers and bootanimation.

Long time no see this rom.
maybe a bug, QS still can be reached even i turned prevent qs in secured lockscreen in settings
Thx for the continuation of this project...
And best of luck for the future development dev...?
Awesome ROM!
Thanks for developing..
Stable build, pretty smooth and pretty.
I think the IR Camera isn't working on Face Unlock.
Also couldn't find the options for battery icons and percentage.
the percentage of battery or the battery percentage ? which one is the correct answer ? i tell you : the battery percentage ! 1-battery, 2-percentage, get it ? this and maybe 2-3 other roms has the percentage text in front of the battery icon, and just for that i won't use it, the ocd hurts my eyes lol
Cant install substratum theme!

Great to see this rom back. Looks great. Works well with 9.3.14 vendor. The only thing missing is IR face unlock. No big deal for me. Thanks dev.

So is this ROM fully CAF based or both AOSP and CAF? If so, what's the difference between a fully CAF ROM and a ROM like this which combines CAF + AOSP?
Great ROM, thanks good to have Syberia back on poco!

Read the OP dude. It says it's AOSP based. With HALs used from CAF. As for the difference, please do a bit of research on Google. You will find your answer.
add the flash guide please.. vendor, gapps, root nedd to be flashed separately or included?
Wow! Welcome back, Syberia! ?
Edge gesture is not workingon this rom. Any way I can help for a fix?
