This package is for "castor" device, this is a "Sirius". - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I seriously have a Xperia z2 tablet castor 521 but when ever I try to flash a ROM, I get error 7 with :This package is for "Castor" device, this is a "Sirius". What did I do wrong? I have tried to flash a custom recovery to correct this, I currently have a stock 23.5.A.0.570 firmware installed, what do I need to flash to fix this? Boot.img?
EDIT: Apparently I had to flash boot.img from another stock rom to proceed with any rom installation.

[Q] Can anybody help me replace the Cyanogen Recovery with TWRP or CWM?

I've recently flashed CyanogenMod 12 Rom on my Xperia T.
Yesterday I tried to install BRAVIA Engine 3 by flashong a .zip, but I got an error "E:cannot load volume /misc!".
I've read some threads and the comments below and what I understood is that the Cyanogen Recovery can't flash ZIP files...
That's why I want to replace it, but I'm not sure how. I flashed TWRP on Xperia T's stock ROM with adb in fastboot mode and what I want to know is - if I flash it again through fastboot will it work properly and is it safe?
If this is not the way I need some help with replacing it with TWRP, CWM or any good working recovery......
I hope someone will answer this.....
Solved
I've used "Rashr - Flash Tool" and flashed TWRP. It shows you the latest version of TWRP and flashes it.
Working fine on me Xperia T with CM12.

Can't access anything

So, I think I finally did it. I broke my phone.
I wanted to flash the new Existenz Rom 6.0 and the flashing worked fine. The phone started and it got stuck in the Xperia logo. I than downloaded the Bootloop Fix. To make sure nothing goes wrong I wanted to do another factory reset. Somehow, my phone uses two roms (Philz custom recovery or something like that (I flashed the rom with this) and a TWRP Recovery). My phone booted into the TWRP (which it usually doesn't do) Recovery and I thought "Well, I can do a factory reset here". So I did the advanced reset but after restarting I can't access anything! When I turn it on, there is still the Sony Logo but if I press up and down I can't access none of the custom recoverys. I'm truly desperate and I can't afford a new phone. Can someone help me how to fix this?
@DerDokktor
XZDR and similar recoveries for locked bootloader reside in /system partition , when you wiped your system you also wiped the recovery...
You'll need to flash an .ftf firmware with flashtool to recover your phone. If you want root and a locked bootloader flash a KK or LP ftf (as MM is not rootable yet), then root it with kingroot or something else you like, install XZDR from your computer and then you can go to the recovery again and flash existenz rom or any prerooted rom you want.
You could also flash a MM .ftf directly but then you won't be able to root it without unlocking your BL.
If you need help with flashtool follow this guide:
http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/1...peria-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/
Edit: the first steps of this guide are to create your own .ftf , if you already have an .ftf downloaded you can go straight to the "Now that the FTF firmware file has been created, you need to flash your Sony Xperia device." section of the guide.

Why some phones requires bootloop fix on .570/575?

Hello,
Why some phones requires bootloop fix on .570/575?
And what bootloop fix exactly does? I found that there are OLDER firmware files.
IMHO i have worse cellular network coverage than on 5.1.1 and the signal is sometimes "floating".
Bootloop fix is actually modem firmware files. There is no need to flash that anymore if you have Official MM FTF.
Once you finish flashing a prerooted rom on TWRP, Turn off the phone instead of reboot. Then
on Flash tool select the MM Official FTF, exclude System and Partition and flash it. Phone will boot normally.

I've been wondering about this to, if I use prf creator to pre root MM, I still won't need bootloop fix?

TWRP Error while flashing RR v6 on my SGP321

Hello guys,
I have the SGP321 running on android 5.1.1. It is rooted with SuperSU and I installed TWRP via [NUT]'s XZDualRecovery. When I try to flash Resurrection Remix (same error with LineageOS 14.1 btw) the installation fails with error: execute updater binary in zip. Two lines above (but not in red text) it says that this rom is meant to be installed on a SGP321 (which I have) but my device is a [empty space]. I don't know if this has something to do with the mentioned error. A Google search led me to posts with the same error, but mostly on the OP One and the Moto G4. They say that you have to update the bootloader. Has anyone experienced the same problems with their Xperia TabZ and has found a solution to this?

Recovery 2.8.7.0 is not compatible with with the lastest custom firmwares like android 7.1.2 or 8.1.
To flash them successfully you need to flash recovery version at least 3.2.1.x to your device.

Good to know, thank you! How can I flash the newer version of TWRP? I tried to flash via Fastboot but get the error "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)". I think this is because Sony's devices don't have a recovery partition.

Use Rashr tool.
Download twrp.img from the link above. Flash it to recovery via Rashr and reboot. After you can enter it via Vol+ on boot.
Rashr says I need a FOTA kernel partition, how do I get that? Thank you for your help, hope that this was my last question
EDIT:
OK I tried different things with Rashr. I uninstalled XZDualRecovery with the flashable zip and flashed full stock rom 5.1.1 with Flashtool and rooted it again. I was not able to install the latest twrp by any means using Rashr.
I found another solution:
1. I installed (again) XZDualRecovery and booted into TWRP 2.8
2. I flashed the Marshmallow Version of Resurrection Remix (https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...pment/rom-resurrection-remix-m-5-7-3-t3440876) --> This installed the CM-Recovery (Vol-) AND TWRP 3.2.1 (Vol+)
3. Booted into TWRP 3.2.1
4. Successfully flashed an Android 8.1 Rom

1. See you can surely flash stock firmware there is no Risk unless and until you flash 4.4.2 and update it to 4.4.4 if you do it you'll most probably HardBrick your phone so my recommendation is to flash 4.4.4 or 5.1 and never update your phone via updater...
2. And yes you'll have to flash Twrp.img after flashing stock firmware as flashing firmware change your recovery to stock.
3. Yup motoboot.img is needed to flash.
4. Refer to the batch file I've attached.
