My company recently moved to iPhones so I was going to sell my Gear Fit 2. I completely forgot to turn off the reactivation lock before returning my android phone. Is it possible to turn this off without a phone?

Got me some NFC stickers and love em in the car and everything but was wondering if there was a way to make it so NFC would activate even while locked with screen off. Even locked with screen on (I mean, sitting at lock screen) would be a lot better than having to unlock it just to wave it over a sticker. I understand this would take more battery life but I still want this function. I know it has been done with GS3 and Nexus.
Galaxy s3 (international) I changed the screen of my phone a couple months ago and it worked fine, last night it fell and now the screen won't display. It is charging, I can hear messages coming through and feel the haptic when I touch the screen but nothing displays. All this even while using a Otter Box Defender. Please Help!
Sounds like you broke the screen again.
no, it sounds like you didn't plug in the screen connector secure enough, just disassemble and verify the connection. if it's good, then yeah, you need a new screen

I disassembled it, all the connectors were in place and everything looked fine. Its so weird cuz there is no physical damage to the screen of the phone. I also flashed this on before: cm-10.1-20130406-NIGHTLY-i9300. I poked around to see if it anyone else was having problems with it but nada, sigh .....
Its easy to test if its software or hardware. Pull the battery out then turn on the phone. If you see the samsung galaxy siii screen at boot, then its software (because this is actually the bootloader, NOT android). If you see nothing, its hardware.

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 with completely smashed screen that is impossible to unlock the phone using the pattern. I know that I can remove the pattern using ADB provided that "USB Debugging" is enabled which is not in my case.
I want to access to the internal storage so I can retrieve my data.
Is this possible?
Thanking you in advance

Hi guys you can recover the data by using another working galaxy s3. Your data is saved on the motherboard, so you can just put it in another phone and back up from there. Here are detailed steps below:
1) Take out the tiny screws from the back of phones (~10 in each).
2) Remove the plastic cover that is shielding the motherboard.
3) Unclip the display cable from both phones.
4) Insert the cable from the phone with the working screen into the port on the cracked/locked phone.
5) Boot it back up, and save all of your files after unlocking it.
In the process you should be very careful not to damage the working phone. After that you can have your broken screen replaced. Recommend you to check hcqs for Samsung galaxy s3 screen replacement.
It's a completely stock S6 Edge, running Marshmallow. Screen got completely destroyed in a motorcycle accident but the phone is turned on. It is not in debug mode unfortunately. I'd installed a FTP server on it sometime ago but it's read only for some dumb reason... USB connection seems to be responsive.
I'm wondering if there's any way to recover the data? Like I said the screen is completely destroyed, no chance of turning on the screen or responding to touch. Mostly just need pics and videos off. Any suggestions?
Edit: Could use contacts if there's any way to pull those as well...
S9+ took a tumble, glass is cracked, screen turns on sometimes, when it does the right 1/4 of the screen is green lines, touch doesn't work but power button does. and I assume volume buttons. I have a gesture lock which is required after restart, and biometrics. Is there any way to use Samsung Smart Switch to the insurance replacement device I received? Thought maybe I could use a bluetooth mouse using the USAB-A to C adapter, but it doesn't seem to be working either. When plugged into my laptop, the laptop reads it but cannot access any files (I assume because if unlocked, the phone would ask if I want to allow access to files, which I cannot do of course). Am I screwed or is there some fairly inexpensive way to get my new phone as close to the old one as possible? Thank you!
