During app updates in Play Store, some updates hang on installation. Then a message pops up saying Greenify if not responding and I can Close the app or Wait. Once I hit Close Greenify, the app update installation proceeds without issue. This happens often and really slows down going through app updates in the Play Store, especially if I'm updating like 10+ apps.
I am running Nougat 7.0 on a Nexus 5x. Anyone have any ideas?

I can uninstall the update and it will go away, but then it interferes with my youtube app saying I have to update, then it goes back to square one... anyone having the same issue?

I am having the same issue on my Asus padfone x. "Unfortunately Google Play Services has stopped"
I have already tried to reboot, uninstall app updates to all GAPPS, Factory Reset. I still get the error. It pops up about every 6 seconds.
All of the Google apps work fine, I just keep getting this error popping up.

Hi,
Yesterday I suddenly started getting some 'Google Play services has stopped' messages but not too bad.
But now pretty much every Google app I open quickly crashes followed by the Google Play services crash.
I'm using CM12.1 with OpenGapps and have been for a while without any problems whatsoever.
Has there been a recent update to Google Play services or something that might problems?
Anyone know how to fix it?!
Cheers!
So it looks like I've fixed my problem with a full wipe and flash.
Still a bit strange since it happened out of the blue after using my phone without any issues for weeks...
At least it's back to normal now though.

I have ASUS ZENFONE MAX and it runs on lollipop version. Everytime I play a game, A pop up appears asking to install the latest version of google play games app. I generally cancel it and play the game but now i am fed up because it slows up the initialization of my game. Should I do it? If I don't want to how do I avoid the force notification. . Thanks in advance:good:

Yes, You need to update play services. Most apps run even if you cancel the updating of play service. But some apps can't run without play services.
For avoid pop up messages you can update or disable play services.
Hi all,
It seems that Google play is not updating automatically my apps on my phone.
Every time I go into the app store, I see a bunch of updates waiting for me to press the update button.
Automatic updating is set in the settings.
Anyone with the same problem? I de bloated some. Of the phone apps some time ago but I don't remember touching any of the Google services in the process.
Thanks
Yes mine does that too, sometimes they do update automatically, but usually there's a few always lined up.
This happened on my Mate 9 too.
