Hi, I have a Samsung SM-G357FZ that is encrypted. I need the data as it is important and the screen is broken so I can't enter the password. How else can I decrypt my device?
Many Thanks

Hey guys I have a problem here. Today I encrypted my Galaxy Win and everything went ok, but when it restarted it asked for a password. The system didn't ask me to create a password during the process, and now I can't unlock my phone. I tried my regular password but it won't work. Is there any way to fix it? Or the only solution is hard reset? Thanks in advance.
Hey,
I just decided to encrypt my Lineage 14.1 bacon (Onepluse One). During the process, I was asked to enter my lock screen pattern. Then the encryption started.
After finishing the encryption, I suddenly get the request to "enter your PIN" to unlock the device. Actually, I didn't enter any PIN? I just have my lock screen pattern.
Of course I made a full backup before encryption. So any ideas how to recover? TWRP is also locked. Any idea is welcome.
And obviously, I feel so stupid at the moment... :crying:
Thanks a lot
Hi everyone
I have a x96 mini and was wondering is it possible to add either encryption with a password on boot or just the password on boot option as it doesn’t have it. What does anyone know of any apps that can do this
thanks in advance

my Mi Pad 4 is asking for a password when i start it. I did not set a password and tried everything... The Standard Passwords for TWRP also do not work.
What can i do now?

Nobody out there with a Solution?
The same thing happened to me.
The sitution for me was that I tried to switch from the stock ROM (which uses encryption for "data") to an older ROM which did not use encryption. So first I had to swipe data to get rid of the encryption.
It is hard to tell from your report.
For you, it might also be similar to this:
twrp asks for password
whenever i want to boot into twrp it asks me for a decryption password. i tried to enter my pin code but still it says wrong. i tried to wipe my phone but still it asks for a password. i hope anyone help me fasy.
