Hi Guys .. I just bought a new Gionee M6 plus .. its nice .. has an amazing battery life but the OS is Chinese based .. I'm using English as the custom language but its still a Chinese system ..
I have tried every known quick root app to root it but with no luck .. I also cant install google services . i tried every variation .. but it alsways says installed but not valid ..?????
I also want to put a custom ROM on but if i don't get root i can't obviously ..

Dears,,
I have M6 Plus and can't root it.
Try unlock bootloader, but fair.
send "fastboot oem unlock" command to phone,
and have a menu on phone say "vol+ to unlock",, I press vol+ then Phone say: Fair!
Try app:
KingRoot, Mtk_Droid_Tool 2.5.3, both fair.
And, there are no recovery mode on phone. every time I try enter recovery mode
The screen just show a died droid.
PS: I am not really need root my phone, My target is install Google framework on phone,
without root I can't let it happen.

Most of all webpage from google about root m6+ are FAKE!
(In fact, the top 10 webpage from google is all FAKE! only XDA is true, but no answer)

I tried no. of rooting tools but it didnt work, tools that had succes on Gionee Elife S5.5 phones.
Model : ALLVIEW X2_Soul
Android : 4.2.2

Build: [SW VERSION] X2_Soul_0401_V5448 ; [HW VERSION] X2_Soul_Mainboard_P4
After successfull root I would apreciate instructions to install CWM and Custom Rom based on 4.4.2 Android, or even Gionee 4.4.2 official release.

YES, it was a NOT joke.
For all of you who have an Allview X2 Soul phone and wish to have root access, please use the software found here (shuame.com/root/?rootjl_client) . Unfortunately only the chinese version works on this Allview phone, even if it is aparently the same with Gionee Elife S5.5 (chinese ver is at 2.0.1.3 while english ver is at 1.8.7) .
You use it a bit blind ... you have to install ADV drivers, open PC software downloaded from the link above, connect the phone to the PC with debugging option enabled and pres ROOT button (it is surrounded by chinese characters but it has ROOT word written somwhere inside the characters). In approx 40 seconds the phone is rooted.

Its not woking plus you get some nasty malware so i dont recoment the above solution , i have x2 soul whit android 4.4.2
I'm happy for you that you updated your phone to 4.4.2. Great job !!! Now, I believe that you noticed that I gave the solution for 4.2.2 and I had NO problems with malware and/or any other BS since I have and use BitDefender and it didn't warn me about anything.
Anyway I allso updated to 4.4.2 and the solution mentioned above DOES NOT WORK. It worked only on 4.2.2

Try iroot.apk. I managed to root both x2soul and gionee S5.5 with them

iroot its not god for 4.4.2 its some kind of malware
i will not root you phone even we ils tell you that the root was done succesfuly
no app that needs a root acces will work

Try kingo root. Is very simple. Instal the app in your pc and then connect the phone on pc and put the phone in the debug mode. Then instal adb drivers for allview x2 soul. After connection just click on the root button and wait 5-10 minute. After restart the phone. Just it. I am sorry fir my englease leangue.

Ar trebui sa functioneze. Eu am facut root la un allview x2 soul cu kingoo si nu am avut probleme cu el. Maxim 10 minute a durat pana sa facut. Dupa am dat un restart si gata.

Hello Everybody,
I have this phone ALPS P7000 that have a octa-core processor MT6735 and it's a Android 64bits (5.5", 4G RAM and 32Go internal espace).
This is the software informations:
Android 5.1
SDK LEVEL: 22
CPU ABI: ARM64-V8A
KERNEL: Linux version 3.10.65
Version: #3 SMP PREEMPT
OS Release : 3.10.65
My problem is I do not have the Google Play on it, I tryed to install it (with aptoid and installing the direct APK file) and it crash all the time, i cleared it's cache and all the application preferences...
I think that I had to root the phone and make a backup of the rom and then install the GAPPS applications.
Some one have the right root to use for this kind of rom or hardware (chiness phone) ? Or someone have a another solution for me?

When i got that phone i think i used kingroot and it rooted fine. Then from somewhere i downloaded gapps for correct android version and it was ok.
There is a rom on needrom website p7000_plus. It says it was android 5 but is not its 4.4.2. Had to get some program from chinese website to load scatterfile. This was a few months ago tho and cant remember exactly.

The problem is an in allot of these tablets , is that the Adroind version is KitKat 4.4.2
Can someone help to provide a custom ROM a let me know how I can get Android 9 on the tablet?

Note that before you can install a Custom ROM you need to install a Custom Recovery ( e.g. TWRP ) matching your device. If you can't find the latter , you may consider to compile TWRP at your own.

But when I want to reboot the bootloader the screen goes black and stays like that.
