angler nbd91k November security patch has been released - Nexus 6P General

New November security patch factory image has been released
https://developers.google.com/android/images#angler

Bootloader 3..62 and Radio is 3.72

So radio is the same and new Bootloader.

Does this only have security patches? No functional updates or fixes? For example, improving fingerprint scanner speed.

I guess the OTA will follow the factory image in the next coming days.
Although you can use the factory Image and fastboot the images manually.

I flashed SuperSU v2.78, the latest official stable version posted and everything is fine. Maybe its suhide or ElementalX causing your problems.

Do you flash twrp right after flashing system and vendor images? Do you reboot first then flash TWRP?

That was a TWRP issue. resolved if you use the latest and greatest TWRP version.

Magisk not working on oneplus x

I don't if there is already a thread about it. But anyways i thought of asking the community that is it just my phone, or magisk is actually incompatible with our model.
I tried flashing it (the latest) but after that my device wont boot. Moreover the supersu's system less root wont happen on mine. Why is it so?
I installed magisk and systemless xposed fine, on H2OS and OOS, so I think you did something wrong, or that is a rom related problem.

I'm on 3.1.3 and i know that OP recovery can't flash it.Previously when i tried flashing Magisk,i was on 3.1.1/3.1.2. I used blu_spark's twrp the only recoverry compatible with OP MM right now, and then when i rebooted to system it just stuck on the 1+ logo, did not even reach the bootlogo.
I think my phone's hardware is trouble. Last i even tried to flash PA rom and it was stuck on bootlogo.

Can you or someone help me??
Yesterday I received the notification. Download the file from here, as I am rooted, twrp and custome kernel.
I tried to flash this via flashfire, but after phone reboots, nothing happens... am I doing something wrong??
I open flashfire, choose Flash ZIP or OTA, choose the file, on the options I don't change anything (it only has Restore boot and recovery images ticked) and then on the main screen I press Flash. Then phone reboots and nothing happens, it enters again on android.

I didn't even try, cause I can enter on twrp fine. As I said, I have twrp and root. My sys is obviously modified. I'm not even trying to sideloaded over bootloader cause it wont work. The same thing on TWRP. I think that sideloading on TWRP only works with full OTAs and not with this one, that is an incremental OTA file, unless I'm completely wrong (I wish).
Anyone's got a changelog for those 26 MB of 'system stability and performance' ?

Download the full Google image- not OTA and flash that. If you can still boot the OS, use FF to flash boot, system, vendor. If you cannot boot OS, use ADB Fastboot to flash those partitions. Yes, I used the full image to go from DP2 to Public Release using FF. If more details are needed, check out the FF thread.

I think that you have installed the latest version of twrp wich make problems with encrypted data.
- Install the boot.img via fastboot (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
-Format data partition via fastboot (fastboot format userdata)
-Remove the latest twrp and install the old (fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2.img)

I wanted to ask a question: this ROM, compared to the overall performance (including fuel consumption) of the 20s, how are you? Issue with flashing Nougat, TWRP don't work

Hi I had Xpower5 Rom. I wanted to try new Nougat. I had many issues with flash (error of processing system.sin and loader.sin). I dont know how now it work. After that I flashed AndroPlus 43 kernel and TWRP 3.0.2. Kernel works but No white led on startup and no recovery there (also adb reboot recovery not work) . I tried another img of twrp and nothing changed. Any idea how install recovery? Anybody has the same problem with flashing? Thanks
As this phone doesn't support universal recovery and only sports a ota partition that can be used for recovery but then requires a kernel that supports booting recovery from ota partition, it's a hustle to use non standard recovery systems.
Is there even a nougat compatible kernel with included TWRP ota boot support for this phone?
This should work

This should work
Not work as well
the 3.1 3.0.2 TWRP bundled in rootkernel 5.23 messess up the internal permissions, so it will appear to work until you try and recover, or - TWRP runs a wipe with mkext4fs

Yeah, going back to Lollipop and going all the way up to Nougat works, this is what happened to me. I thought I had a psuedo-recovery-dual system boot .... where i could switch between Marshmallow and Nougat

[MOD][RECOVERY] Working TWRP recovery for Pixel and maybe Pixel XL on Android O DP4

hi Guys!
I just wanted to share my work with you.
I created a working TWRP recovery for the Pixel on Android O developer preview 4, that can boot and decrypt the /data partition. I don't own a Pixel XL, so I can't test, but @Chainfire did a few quick tests and it seems to be working on his Pixel XL too. So I would say you can try and see if it works for you. Please keep in mind, that I didn't test it, and neither Chainfire, or myself or anyone else can be blamed if it doesn't work, or damages your phone (shouldn't actually, but who knows..).
If you are still not scared enough, please follow this link to the Pixel forums and check out my work:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel/development/mod-twrp-recovery-pixel-android-o-dp4-t3651896
Good luck!
I test it on my pixel xl, working well.
Thank you very much.
But it seems to not be able to flash supersu
When I try to flash it via fastboot it says file is not signed. What am I doing wrong here? I wanted to be rooted and I am on Android op4 preview. Please guide me how to root. Thank you everyone.

Had this already sometimes on 7.1.2 with twrp rc 1 and 2. Must be an encryption error. Only way for me to use the phone again was to start all over with flashing factory image with flash-all.bat.
