Hi mates, here you have the latest LEX727USA update for our LEX720 devices.
It´s the original stock not modified, you can make a custom rom if you want.
If you have the LEX727 you only need to change a setting with a text editor in "System/Build.prop":
-persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds
to
-persist.radio.multisim.config=NA
its simple.
Rom:
-EUI5.8.21s(Stock)
Install:
-Twrp or custom recovery
-Wipe data,cache, dalvik and system
-Install the Rom
-Reboot to system
No problem with the fingerprint reader?
Because on the rom of Steve, the reader was not recognized.

If I say no nonsense, it is that the rom of the united states is encrypted. Me, i erased everything with twrp, and then installed the rom.

-Remove the latest twrp and install the old (fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2.img)

Yes, I flashed my Le Pro 3 with this SuperSU version many times without problem
I wanted to ask a question: this ROM, compared to the overall performance (including fuel consumption) of the 20s, how are you? The translation in some languages I know not be perfect, but it does not matter. What they would press me to know is whether it is worth abandoning the 20s for this stock. Why do you need stock recovery for that? I just wiped everything on mine and when I rebooted from twrp I chose not to protect twrp. Rma was approved so I guess they were satisfied with that.

Yes, including internal storage.
That I didn't know, but you don't void warranty by installing custom recovery or rooting so it shouldn't be an issue either way.

Hey, I don't know if you ever found the stock recovery but another member had posted fastboot images in the OnePlus2 Android Development section.
I haven't tested out the recovery myself, but you can check to see if it's the English one.

One "?" is enough dude..
You have to install adb for Mac (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31374085/installing-adb-on-mac-os-x), enable USB Debugging on your phone, reboot into bootloader mode :

Some one in other thread said that it may brick the us version if you flash the Chinese twrp and install ROM using it. Can the OP confirm it us universal before we have several bricked phones?

Sometimes I have the same problem, /system couldn't be mounted.
I solved it like this:
In TWRP go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Check System Partition -> Repair or Change File System -> Change File System -> EXT4.

On my x720 I use another one, the latest V4 from chinese sites :

I have now installed TWRP v4 but still have problems to restore a backup.
First, I backed up everything. I tried to restore boot, system, systemimage and data. I did not restore efs, recovery and firmware. Do I have to restore firmware? What is that? What is the difference between system and system image? In any case, I got a lot of errors and the phone is very slow after I restored boot, system, systemimage and data.

The TWRP versions I tried (including v4) have problems and do not reliably mount my encrypted data partition. (I had a similar problem with the initial TWRP ports for the Elephone P8000. The problems were fixed and subsequent ports worked without problems.)
Moreover, if I boot into TWRP recovery the screen is flickering from time to time (probably just a cosmetic issue).
Is there an updated TWRP version 5 or something? Could you please link to the Chinese website where the TWRP port for the LePro3 is made available? Thanks!
I am trying to unlock the bootloader right now using the fastboot oem unlock-go command and it is not working on the US variety. I have also enabled the oem unlocking in dev options, as well as, debugging. Has the US variant changed things to prevent the bootloader from being unlocked?

I can't install TWRP, it says it is finished but when entering recovery, still standard EUI recovery is there.
Tried the V4, but can't read what to do. Please help.

Edit: Finally worked! Press TWRP.bat from homescreen, enter a few times and all clear!

I just wanted to share my work with you.
I created a working TWRP recovery for the Pixel on Android O developer preview 4, that can boot and decrypt the /data partition. I don't own a Pixel XL, so I can't test, but @Chainfire did a few quick tests and it seems to be working on his Pixel XL too. So I would say you can try and see if it works for you. Please keep in mind, that I didn't test it, and neither Chainfire, or myself or anyone else can be blamed if it doesn't work, or damages your phone (shouldn't actually, but who knows..).

Its in the instructions but here is the command and you shouldn't flash it but instead fastboot it.
fastboot boot trwp.img
flash the latest supersu 2.82 sr1

To root, you don't even need recovery. Use @Chainfire's boot-to-root.img (fastboot boot it), and it will do the job for you. Easiest way to root...

2. fastboot flash boot.img from the factory image zip
3. fastboot boot recovery.img
4. in the recovery, flash supersu
Or you can skip points 3 and 4, and fastboot boot boot-to-root.img

Had this already sometimes on 7.1.2 with twrp rc 1 and 2. Must be an encryption error. Only way for me to use the phone again was to start all over with flashing factory image with flash-all.bat.

I have the latest official ROM, and yes it is a new problem with EMUI9, the boot.img partition doesn't exist any more and magisk has to be installed on the recovery_ramdisk.img

What do you mean by "have to boot to recovery each time"? every time I restart the phone or turn it off and back on I must go through recovery?
I think I'll avoid EMUI9 and stick with EMUI8.
For some reason there are not much custom ROMs or honor 9
That is the last time I buy a non root friendly phone like Huawei/Xiaomi

From within magisk manager click on install magisk and the select the direct install method. It patches the right bit then and you can boot without going through recovery

When I do that it gives me 2 options, one is download a zip file (and then I need to install using TWRP, right?)
The other option is patch a boot image, and it lets me look for one. Is this option to patch a downloaded boot image and then I need to flash it? what do I do with this option?

Consequently I am stuck in a bootloop because I have no OS on the phone and can't use MiFlash to flash stock as it keeps telling me to download and install the drivers (which I have).

Just put any flashable Rom on a sdcard and install it from twrp, or boot to twrp, Mount storage and connect to computer, transfer ROM and flash.

Just put any flashable Rom on a sdcard and install it from twrp, or boot to twrp, Mount storage and connect to computer, transfer ROM and flash.

I think my age is catching up to me!!! I knew how to do this easily just 5 or 6 years ago! God it's terrible getting old!!

Yes, I had a senior moment when I couldn't for the life of me remember what to do. I simply went into TWRP and mounted sd card, transfered new rom and flashed.

Hi Bro, You should put your phone into Fastboot Mode and install twrp through ADB again.
=> Copy Vendor/Rom/gapps/magisk/DFE into your storage.
Wipe advance -> stick: wipe data, cache, davik, systerm (only 4wipe, no more)
Choose Install -> Flash Vendor -> Flash Rom (if you wanna use Pixel rom, don't flash gapps) -> Flash magisk 18.1 -> Flash DFE 18.1 -> Reboot
