Hi All,
I bought a tablet from a hospital auction a few weeks back. It has pre-programmed content running on them. The content is Context Media Health services and they play on a loop. I have tried a full wipe, restore, factory reset and nothing is working. I cannot even add an account or get google play to acknowledge I have a device - probably because I do not even have google play and cannot get it to install. I would like to just wipe out all the Context Medical Health information and get them back to factory or just get that off of their in order to use them.
Model # UIT313B-U01
Android version 4.4.4
kernel version: 3.0.36+
build number: Android 4.4.4
Outform-TAB1310-13.3-Y4. 13-20160122
Can anyone point me in a direction or lead me somewhere. These are just the way they came to me I have not ran any programs on them to correct because I am not sure what I need to do.
I would appreciate any help and Thank you in advance!
-Matt
I may be wrong, but I pretty much think your screwed. Unless you can compile you own version of android for this tablet, then unlock boot loader and flash the image, you can't really do anything with it. If you can install apps (or at least enable adb, if you enable adb then you can install apps) then I would try kingroot or framaroot or whatever.
I tried unlocking the bootloader however whenever I do that the screen just goes black and nothing happens and I can't do anything else.
I've worked with Outform devices before and might be able to help you out. Would you be able to snap a pic of the front/back so I can be sure which version this is? feel free to pm me
Here are the Photos. I have one that is a Wall Board and one that is a Small Tablet. Thank you so much for looking into this for me!!!!
Do we have any updates on this?
Anyone able to assist?
were you able to get any help in this?
I'm also having the same problem
I know this is an old post but I am in the exact same boat. It looks like mine is running a custom ROM based on 4.2.41. I'd love to just wipe this thing and put any generic ROM on it.

Hi guys, new member so play nice
Just pulled my HDX 7 from out of a drawer and thought I could use it for music in my car.
Haven't used it once March of 2014 and it's stuck on software version 13.3.2.2... I remember using a tool to block OTA updates, and whenever I try to check for an update it says 'last update failed'.
Did a factory reset on the device in the hope it'd sort that out, but no avail. What I have now is when I go to set up the device after the reset, it won't come off the language selection screen. I choose a language, press okay, and it just bounces back. Rebooting does nothing. Managed to ninja tap into settings, update still doesn't work, and same problem after another reset.
Can you guys just point me in the right direction in terms of sorting out these problems, and then what I need to do to root, get recovery and install a custom rom (possibly cyanogenmod but I'm unsure if there's a supported build)
Thanks a lot guys, it's much appreciated.
You are actually quite fortunate that your HDX is stuck at 13.3.2.x as you can probably obtain full control over the device and separate from Amazon. I would advise NOT updating as you may get your wish and then be left with fewer options (although Fire OS is not horrible even unrooted). HDX is a very nice device that is somewhat hobbled by Amazon's adaptation of Android.
If you can "ninja tap" into settings try to enable adb (under device). That will allow you to root and block OTAs (do it again just to make sure). See this post and the ones that immediately follow for details.
Assuming you are successful you can install a true recovery (TWRP) and flash several ROMs including stock Fire OS. There are many who would love to get their hands on your device as those with more recent updates are far more difficult to customize.
On the other hand, if you simply want to stick with Fire OS and accept updates as dished out by Amazon you can probably flash one of the various 13.3.x images posted in this forum and then re-enable OTA. Reflashing Fire OS should address the language loop you are currently experiencing.
It's nice to have choices!
Ive got an android tablet that is having trouble after rooting with kingroot.
Worked fine for a while after rooting, main reason I rooted was to remove the bloatware installed (full of disney apps etc)
After removing the apps, then i started having trouble after reboot, and the following message keeps appearing and wont go away.
"unfortunatley, the process com.android.systemui has stopped"
Hopefully im asking in the right area here, but im hoping i can find a decent firmware with the bloatware removed , and hope that flashing will fix this once and for all at the same time.
What complicates this is that this model is for the New Zealand market and i think they are renaming another model number for New Zealand.
If another firmware is available that i can flash onto this tablet, it would be great thanks
Specs:
Its produced by southernTelecom
Model: ST10NZ

If it's any help, I'm having the same problem, still unable to find a solution, mines the ST13, but have the same problem with "com.android.systemui" - Be keen if you find a solution, I'm happy to restore the original ROM (or custom) but unable to find either as yet.
Here's hoping...
net nanny

net nanny is hardcoded and dont remove netlauncher 3 . if you deleted it, it breaks the android.ui and there is no recovery image.
If anyone can come up with a ROM image, that would be great.
I also have been told here to try downloading net nanny off google play.
Apparently that works.

If a ROM could be found it would be great.
I got mine working again after reinstalling the netnanny app from the play store, fixed it. But it still does not run flash.
Net nanny
re downloading net nanny from the play store does work, at least to get it working again. I had a problem that after that message popped up a few times (com.android.systemui failed to load) or whatever, I couldnt click on anything. AFTER I factory reset the tablet, that problem stopped. The message kept popping up, but I was able to click "OK" and type a few letters on the setup page lol. I got into the play store, found net nanny, downloaded it, and SHAZAM! Its working again. i JUST WANT TO PLAY MY GAMES LOL. THANKS TO WHOEVER FOUND THIS OUT! I hope this helps the next person that un-installs net nanny lol. BTW, I contacted southern telecom and said I got a virus or whatever and requested a website to download the firmware, so if they give me that information, I will share it with you all
Any news on that link for the firmware
Playing with a ST13 now, the os disappeared and tablet is stuck at bootloader, unable to do anything at this point. Windows does not recognize tablet and now I am out of options.
Anyone have any ideas thoughts?
Hi guys, this morning my father's Le Max 2 (snap820, 4/64) stopped receiving calls, and both the home and recent apps virtual buttons decided not to function, too. Strange enough, I'm able to long press them and get the action I'm supposed. Any ideas/fix? I've already checked the phone for malicious apps and misconfigurations
Hi, I have exactly the same issue, plus I cant download any more applications from play store. Can anyone help?
If you have a backup taken when the phone was working well, I'd suggest you to restore it. If not, try another ROM, or at least a different ROM flavor (if it had an EUI based ROM, use LineageOS and viceversa). If that doesn't work, you may need to get into Qualcomm recovery mode and flash the developers ROM to get the phone to a real factory state.
But first, try to revert to factory settings from the current ROM, and see if that solves the issue.
There are several threads here with info on how to apply the above solutions.
If none of these solutions works, and you still have warranty time left, you may want to contact the seller for a repair or replacement.
Good luck.
Do the notifications work?
I was on holiday, so no PC I could use for flashing or else. A reset from the settings worked, still don't know what caused the issue sadly
I couldn't find the fix for this in any other threads, can someone help a not-terribly-tech-savvy person with a fix for this
Today I also had a same problem. So just I backed up all important data's and done factory reset. Now everything works fine.
Everyone have same problem at the same time means the ROM has virus or Trojan.
What is the ROM everyone is using?
Hi guys,
I've got a 7.1 with the latest Android (10). The device is under full control by my company. This means that It says that it is under control everywhere (text on lockscreen, statusbar etc), that certain things are blocked (entering developer mode, installing apk's outside of Play Store etc) and that I have a personal and work profile on the phone. If I delete the last one, the phone automatically resets (!). For me this is a reason to get rid of it asap.
First things first: the IT guys said this is okay (there are people that only have a personal phone and are allowed to use this too within the company), but they just won't help me with it So here I am for your help!
Do you guys know how I can disable/remove the corporate stuff? I tried a normal reset, but the company stuff is allready there on first boot and forces you to load and install it all before you can properly enter the Android environment. I tried installing the december firmware here on the site by ADB sideload, but it aborts because it's an older version (downgrade).
Do you have any idea how to get rid of it all? Where is the company stuff incorporated/embedded? Is that in firmware or on a deeper level? And is it possible without unlocking bootloader?
Thank you in advance!
You can have some one pay to unlock the boot loader and flash a rom ( you have to pay to unlock the boot loader ) I would link it but some one told a mod on me so you will have to search for i t

thanks for the reply. are you sure then that al the corporate stuff is in the rom and not in some deeper level (like on boot level or a special partition of some sort)?
cheers!
