Hi!
Is there a way to root and flash a Note 3 Pro, on a mac?
I tried with a Win10 in an emuator on the mac but i can't get Win10 to find the phone when it is connected.
I have tried Fastboot-mode.
Does anyone know how to do it, or is a PC the only way?

It seems like Odin is required to root Galaxy S II. Is there a known method to root using a Mac?
I don't think so. I even had Windows XP running in Parallels 6, but that doesn't work. I ended up installing Vista via Bootcamp and that worked wonderfully.
Damn still no Mac root?? Not possible with Heimdall, adb, update.zip??
Hi,
I'm sharing with you my problem with my NOTE 3 PRO.
I'cant make a USB connexion to my laptop.
I tried all options I found in forums.
I don't think is a driver problem, because I installed many of them... (Preloader VCOM, DA, MTP ....) as it's indicated in many tutorials.
When I try to flash it, the sp flash tool can't flash cause it can't detect the connected device.
In the past, when I connect my Note I have USB options (charging, MTP, ....), now anything happens.
I think is a rom problem
It's a N TEST (nougat beta)
I want just to downgrade the ROM to my M. But no way! the OEM recovery can't flash.
I need help please. I miss my Note 3 pro.
Looking for working adb Windows drivers for Huawei Y300-0151 I've tried at least 5 versions on a Vista, 7 and 10 OS (all 64x) machines and none allow fastboot to see my phone. I'm currently using Windows 10 Pro 64.
Thanks.
Doesn't anyone know where I can get a set of drivers for Windows 10 or even an older OS that will allow Fastboot.exe to see my device? I have my bootloader unlock key, I just need to be able to use it!
Thanks.
Well I found a working set of tools that sees my phone. Now all I need is a back-up of the stock rom in case I need it. Anyone know where I can get a Y300-0151V100R001C557B184 official firmware?
Thanks
So I have a rooted Galaxy Note 8 on T-Mobile that is rooted and running build NMF26X.N950USQS2BQL5. I have tried to update this device to Oreo so many times and finally learned the problem is my Windows PC which for some reason won't establish a connection. I believe I should able to do the process with my MacBook but I am wondering if someone can guide me through the steps and if someone has the link for the firmware I need to update to. I really need help.
The problem might not be the computer but the actual cable you are using. Try a different cable and you might get lucky.
Try an older PC, USB 2.0, and have the Universal ADB drivers installed. A Windows 7 machine works best.

Hi, I'm currently having problems unlocking my POCO F1. I've currently attempted on a Windows 10 (Ryzen 1200, 12 GB RAM) and a Windows 7 (Lenovo Thinkpad S1 i5) Laptop.
On the Win 10 PC the phone isn't reconized, I've reinstalled drivers, used ADB drivers then reinstalled Xiaomi drivers.
On the Win 7 Laptop the unlock program gets stuck on the login screen, not displaying it.

I have no love for drivers so just install/update Mi PC SUITE. 9/10 it works for me.

Yeah that seems to not be working. It's not detected and both USB Debugging options are on and OEM Unlocking whilst also trying to use older versions. (And it's not supported according to the site?) Edit: Also sometimes it'll display Press any key to shut down or something on the lines of that when Windows detects it.
Try following the instructions from this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwWGv5DKXFc.
This worked for me.
Uhhh I'm having a problem unlocking the bootloader

AMD Ryzen will not work. Use an Intel Win 10 PC. Try different USB ports and cables.
@aerospaz, one thing to note is that you can't use USB 3 ports. You have to use USB 2. If your Lenovo only has USB 3 ports, get a cheap USB hub and connect through that. It took me over a week of trying before I stumbled on a post that mentioned that. Once I connected through a hub, I was unlocked in the time it took me to read through this thread.
