has anyone else experienced force closes on youtube app ever since the update?
No, and this update is AWESOME!! The new ui is amazing, and the preloading feature is like heaven on my slow internet! If you are experiencing force closing, I suggest using titanium backup to wipe the data. This fixed an issue of google earth force closing for me. Just wiping data in settings is not enough, you have to use titanium backup.

First try changing your dpi back to stock and if that doesn't help, it is probably an issue with cm7.

I downgraded to the version 2.5.16 of YouTube. I don't feel like going back to stock dpi just to get the new YouTube app working. I prefer the 120 dpi setting.
my theory is the new YouTube app is trying to load the tablet ui, which Google did not back port yet.
I'm on IcyFusion for the 4.0, it wont even let me download the new Youtube app. I tried backing it up on my GS2, and restoring it on the 4.0, but it won't allow it.
I get YouTube fc's on boot only

Is that a joke!? And the old UI wasn't crap? The new ui might not be as good as it could be, but at least it looks good, lol!

Yeah I know the old UI was crap but the new one (in my opinion) isn't any better. I think m.youtube.com has the best UI
Hi. I am using a S3 JB ROM.
Avfew of my apps keep crashing everytime I visit them for the first time. Like if I open the goal.com app it crashes. Then I open it again and its fine. If I close it and open it it crashes again and the cycle continues.
I have been reporting these but never get a reaponse. Also I have re downloaded the apps several times.
Could there be something wrong with my phone.
Could someone please give me some advice. Thanks.
Fahad

press thanxx if it helped u
There is no uninstall update button. I checked the reviews and it's happening to most phones. I'm on kyrillos rom 10.6

It usually happens when you integrate updates or mess with Youtube.apk. The easiest solution is reflashing the ROM, updating the Youtube app from Play Store and not integrating/moving to sd/etc... The other solution is removing both the Youtube system app and user update app and first installing an old Youtube version in /system and then updating from Play Store.
I had the same problem when i reflashed my ROM and messed with Youtube.ak and it's a common problem of the new Youtube application.
Hi guys.
Simply, my lg g5 crashes whenever I enter app info and attempt to view 'storage', 'data', 'permissions' etc relating to that app. I happens with all apps.
Catlog shows this that I assume is related:
11-13 22:36:34.387 E/ANDR-PERF-MPCTL(4101): invalid request, no optimizations performed
Any ideas how to fix this before to restore to stock with lgup and start again?
Thanks
When did you notice this?
Look at the updates of the apps around that time or settings you have changed. I personally would uninstall the latest installed/updated apps and see if it resolves.

Nice! Thanks for the reply. And maybe for others who encounter same problem, if you can be specific which application caused this behaviour, it could be helpful to know it.

Can you please tell us which app was the problem, I also have this error...
It was the app 'recently' I think I had a modded apk etc. ....
If you have recently (lol) installed any apps from pirated or modded sources id recommend removing those
