LG Leon H340n patched/unlocked bootloader (on Lollipop). - LG Leon Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi. Today i've made a patched bootloader for this LG Leon model. That means you can install a custom recovery and rom!
How to:
1. You must have an Android 5 installed with root permissions (you can get them with kingroot).
2.1. Download the patched bootloader (aboot) file: https://yadi.sk/d/tpz-nnVcz2Qk2 and place it at /sdcard
2.2 If you want to install a TRWP recovery, you can get it here: https://twrp.me/devices/lgleonlte.html
Rename it to recovery.img and copy to /sdcard
3.1 Enter the Android terminal emulator or "adb shell" and write:

su
dd if=/sdcard/aboot.bin of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/aboot
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery
5. PROFIT!

it work on my lg h340n, i have problem with path "if=/sdcard/", but i change it to "if=/storage/emulated/0/" and all worked fine

Yes, you can install cyanogenmod for ms345

I have a h340n with MM, if i downgrade to lillipop and root it will the update to mm remove the root?

you cant update if u have root/xposed/twrp active, u have to remove them so u can update!

i tested 5.1.1 cyanogenmod on v10e and didnt work the flash was correct but i think it had erros ! possible problems bootloader locked in 5.0.1 and also v10e supposed to v10b! i havent tried xenonhd rom !

I tested XenonHD and it is working. The only incovenience is that install procedure requires a special version of TWRP to get installed.

Yes, but it is buggy. Battery is not showing actual percentage and because of that phone can shut down at 80% battery for example. Despite baseband is shown as unknown, Call and data works (only on 3g, 4g doesn't work), sms I didn't tried. Camera like on xenon hd crash on video recording, but it can be fixed by using third-party camera (I use Hydrogen camera, you can download it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/hydrogen-os-camera-oneplus-1-op2-t3241423 )
