I'm soooooooooooooo waiting for it
Hope cm developers figure it out quickly

Wait until AOSP become stable, then when the bugs get fixed, maybe then we can get cyanogenmod easily.

Or, things should get easier if someone is willing to build an UNOFFICIAL CM14.1 build and then report himself to CyanogenMod to make him the OFFICIAL maintainer for Z2, then we will be able to get official CM14.1.

Hi guys i am planning to build a stock kitkat rom
But i am confused between Aosp 4.4 & CM 11
As many of the things has to be fixed in AOSP
I planned to build with CM 11
But AOSP has good ram management and better sound quality.
So help me in finding the good ROM to build stock kitkat

thanks for replay
suggest any xperia stock app other than media and home
like dailer,camera...
You mean, "stock like" ?? Since it is impossible to build a stock ROM without sources of Sony libs.
I think you should wait for a more stable version of the AOSX before attempting. Even Sony stock 4..4 apps are not available until Z2 is launched. Only some pre-release apps are available from the Z2 dump. So better wait.
And good luck fixing the LED bar.
Hey,
Guys I'm looking for a ROM for my
Xperia Z2 that will bring it as close as possible to stock android.
The closer the better. I don't want any fancy options just straight
up nexus style.
Thanks in advanced guys,
Chris.
the closest stable well working rom would have to be CyanogenMod 12.1
we have aosp for Z2 but its not stable at all.
Could you tell me where I would find the aosp?
If it's stable enough I'll probably use it but if not I'll use Cm. Thanks
You can find the aosp rom on the free xperia website
And for CM you can find it on the Cyanogenmod website
You are looking for device: sirius
And you need a unlocked bootloader

Sony Mobile is committed to supporting the open developer community, and one way to show this is by publishing parts of our code as well as selected tools developed by our internal developers.
For some of the Xperia™ devices, we provide Android™ Open Source Project (AOSP) device configurations on GitHub. This means that the software will be open for you as a developer to use and contribute to. This is a way for us to support the open Android community, and it is also a tool for us to facilitate and verify contributions to AOSP.

Question, will there be a kernel 4.4 for the Z5P?
Or is there a "guide"/link to where/how to build your own for the Z series?

Cause developers dont have for sony devices.
Hi Devs,
Is it possible to port Xperia X rom to our device. It has same processor SD 650?
In Xperia X thread i have seen Nougat system dump. Can we use it for our device?
Check this https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-xosp-rl7-rev2-t3553884
ohhh XOSP i know... but those are lineage or CM based rom and lots of bugs...
Like 100% sony rom? I think it's impossible. Because some part of OEM ROM feature is closed source.
not exactly 100% rom. but it might be useful to get some features like Data connection(as its not working properly in XOSP rom).
So that we can have near to bug free ROM.
