Help with lg Optimus F3 MS659

So I just got this phone as a backup for when I go out to work on construction that if my phone were to break it would be this $40 Optimus F3 and not my $640 LG G3. Now here is the issue and I will explain what I have done.
Issue: When I turn screen off (Hit the power button once or when it auto sleeps) the phone just locks up and freezes. It happens when the screen is off for 10 seconds or longer. Before that I can reactivate the phone and it works fine.
Other Symptoms:
-If I allow the phone to stay frozen after about 2 minutes it reboots itself.
What I have done
-Factory Reset several times
-Restored the stock firmware kdz via the lg firmware updater
-Rooted to install a cpu app which does't allow the phone into a lower frequency. I have tried setting minimum frequency to every single option available and it still freezes at the 10+ second mark.
-Tried another battery from a friends F3.
Test I have made:
Disable screen timeout. This allowed the phone to stay on and responsive for as long as the screen was on. No matter how long I let it go as soon as the screen turns off the issues starts and 10 seconds later it just locks up then restarts after another 2 minutes.
Times tested: 10 minutes, 40 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and 8 hours. Same result each time.
I have no idea what else I can do. I would appreciate any help. I am starting to think it is a hardware failure which kicks in when the screen is off. I don't mind having the screen on all the time but I would love to track down this issue. If I must and this being an lcd display would having a special background do anything at all? Is there a color which is a lower power consumption than any other? Thanks

G5 restarts automaticly when being charged

Hi,
i have upgraded my G5 (brand-free, H850, TWRP 3.0.2-0) from system software v10c to v10e recently. Since that, everytime i switch off the phone while being charged, the loading screen appears for a moment and the G5 reboots instantly, altough it's intended to stay switched off. On v10c, i could easily bypass the problem by plugging in the power cable before powering off the phone, but even that doesn't work under v10e. For me, this is quite annoying, since the phone charges a lot faster when powered off, altough i'm not even sure if it's a bug or a feature. Has anyone encountered the same problem with their G5? Could it be related to TWRP in any way?
I'm grateful for every answer.

I have received this same problem.
It only happens when I am charging in my car though. Usually I have bluetooth and GPS going on at the same time. But I've never had this problem while charging normally at home using the charger that came with the phone.
It's only when I am charging in my car.

Turn phone off completely. Hold vol.up while plugging in usb-c cable (other end into win10 pc usb2.0 with LGUP and drivers installed). KDZ back to stock

The display on the V30 is P-OLED, it doesn't use a backlight so, if you're not getting anything on the display while it's on, turn it off completely (hold the Power button for 10+ seconds). Then see about turning it back on - if you don't get any display at all, not even a single pixel lighting up - which would of course be almost unnoticeable considering the sheer resolution - then there's a possibility that the P-OLED panel is dead, or the display controller is.
If you're not getting any display at all no matter what you do, I'd suggest contacting LG and seeing about a warranty repair since they cover 2 years - go register the device at LG's website if you never have in the past. When it asks you when the device was purchased, put in something like June 2018 or something so you're still covered by the warranty period and see what happens.
Chat them up online through the LG website to see about getting the warranty repair done, but make sure you register it for the warranty with a 2018 purchase date (whichever you want) and see what happens.

LG G5 H820: Broken?

Hi dear community!
Last week my dear LG G5 H820 had an issue.
I almost ran out of battery, so I plug it into a charger as usual.
My screen then starts to have a strange behavior (turning from black to my normal android screen two times). Then it shuts down.
From this time I could not boot it up.
I know it's starting anyway in background as the blue light blinking, but nothing is appearing on the screen.
I first think about screen issue, so I tried to replace it (thanks to Amazon), but even with this new screen, nothing is displayed on the screen. But I heard the phone asking for pin code and light blinking blue.
I tried to plug the smartphone on my PC and launched LGUP. LGUP detect my smartphone on the COM8.
I think the video's circuit is dead, but is there any chance to access to filesystem to check if everything was really backup?
Thanks for reading me!
Have a nice day ☮
Greg
