Can anyone tell me the best way to return to stock EMUI from an AOSP ROM? I'm over the Corrupt SD card errors and my device not properly storing my items because of this issue. And no it's definitely not the card(s)

Whenever I flash a ROM onto my I9300 the extSD card will not mount. According to whatever ROM I use the card cannot be read or is corrupt. It works fine in stock JB, however when I restore the device to stock JB it then states the card needs formatting and I have to go through the process of chucking all my music back onto the card after I format (which I'm doing right now).
The card I'm using is a Sandisk Ultra 64GB Class 10. I'm able to make backups and restore from them on the card itself through PhilZ Touch as CWM wouldn't read the card either and some other users suggest I try PhilZ recovery as they've had similar problems. Has anyone else had this problem and is willing to offer a solution? If so what card do you use?
I've heard flashing back to ICS which will write a different mount code than the one JB writes to a device, and somehow this will fix future mounting problems. I don't know how much of this is true but you can read the article here: http://checkrom.com/threads/cant-mount-internal-sd-card.994/
non Sammy based Roms only support fat32
Hello,
ever since the official CM10.1 builds switched to KEXEC I've been trying to get it working properly. I'm able to flash it just fine but as it assumes the user has an SD card, which I don't I'm kinda screwed. I've swapped the mounts in the fstab file and that works in most cases, but pictures still wont show up in the gallery.
I will be able to get an SD card within the next month but I really don't want to use any stock based ROMs anymore
Anyways I'm wondering if anyone has a fix or can help me out
My RAZR is CDMA though Verizon if that helps. I would post in the original thread but I'm under 10 posts sadly
I've been running CM10.1.3 and mostly loving it.
The thing that bothers me is that my "external" SD card is essentially useless. The only thing I can do with it is manually copy files to and from.
Ideally, I'm looking for a solution that will allow me to install apps to my SD card (preferably by default, but I'd settle for being able to easily move them), as well as set it as my default storage location (that's less important) for everything except system apps. For example, I can't tell Chrome to do anything but download to the default location, so I need that default location to be where I want it so that I don't have to manually copy every single file Chrome downloads.
I understand there's a way to fool the OS into thinking that my SD card is actually the internal memory, but that doesn't solve my problem. I need to be able to selectively move apps and storage directories to the SD card, otherwise I'll have exactly the same problem I have now. My SD card is bigger than my internal memory, but the difference of 4gb doesn't really sound like a solution.
I feel like I've jumped through enough hoops getting CM10 to do what I need it to do, and I'm ready to abandon it for something new. I'll try anything; the only requirement is that I need to be able to install or move apps to my SD card. I don't need the OS to do it right in the app manager; If I have to use Rom Toolbox or Titanium Backup or some other app to do it, I'm fine with that. But that function of those apps doesn't work on CM10.
I understand that there are nightly builds of CM11 available for the Note 2, but they're listed as "unstable" for a reason, and I'm not sure (though not entirely against) I'm interested in having to flash up to the new build every couple days. I think I'd be pretty safe with CM, but I don't want to be stuck without some device function I consider vital because today's build borked it.
Part of me wants to be convinced that getting on the CM nightly train is worth my while, and part of me just wants to be given a solution of "here is the ROM you're looking for."
So is there a JB or KK ROM out there that will do what I need? Am I just boned until a CM11 RC shows up? Is there a reasonably sure-fire way to make CM10 do this (I've tried every one of a very long list of solutions and have had no success without wiping and reflashing)?
i had converted my external sd ard to internal storage on marshmellow.....I flashed a new rom and expected them to be auto detected, did I do something wrong or do I need to go back to my old rom->titanium backup->restore--the old way?
As far as I know, the encryption key is per installation. If you don't have a backup of the system it's probably gone.
Even if you had the original key, I doubt you could persuade your new ROM to use it. Neither could you do that with a new installation of the original ROM
Basically, for the past few months I have been using Resurrection Remix 6.1 I think, but had to revert to stock to put in a Network Unlock Code as it wouldn't go through with the custom ROM. I flashed stock, removed root, unlocked my phone and re-installed TWRP but decided to go for my old ROM Lineage 13 as RR seemed like it was sucking battery when it didn't need it. Upon looking at my SD card, I realised it does not show in TWRP nor Android and it shows in Win10, but hangs the PC a little, but I can still view files and copy them over. I cannot however add files, not format the card. I even removed it's read only attributes if it had any and used GParted to try and force a format, but this card is refusing.
I did read somewhere, (can't find it now though for some reason) that if cards were set as adopted/internal storage on a custom ROM, that they may be encrypted and locked to that ROM. The only way would be to use it with that ROM. That does not work. I tried to reinstall RR and it's the same there too.
Have I screwed the card up? It's a Samsung Evo 32gb HC MicroSD if that helps. TIA

Just try some common simple steps like formatting sd card , changing storage format, etc ..... . Anyone of the mentioned methods should work good .

I have. I tried everything listed here and it still won't work or allow me to format. Strange thing is it was working fine before and it's a fairly new card.
