i just bought an Asus tranformer and my tech installed Splashbox for my vpm and it is slower than molasses. Is there anything that works better
I currently own an Asus EeePad and Samsung Galaxy S2 phone from Sprint and rooted both devices.
I'm planning on buying an Ipad Air 128 Gig but still trying to decide from where and what carrier is the cheapest and I wanted to know if I can buy the wifi version and wifi tether both to my cell instead of paying for the 4G monthly OR if I have to buy the 4g version to tether it with my cell. If this is possible, please let me know what app I can use to do this and if I need anything else to accomplish this. Thanks in advance and hope to get some assistance with this soon.
I need an android phone that has both an IR receiver and transmitter.
I have some money deposited but I am also willing to sell my nexus 7 32 gb wifi 2013 edition and my iphone 3g (<-- sucks too much )
I have found a list of phones but they dont actually mention wether they have a receiver and / or transmitter!
Hi
I own an Asus Fonepad (7-inch phablet), and wanted to know whether you'd heard about a 8-inch phablet?
I found the Fonepad 8 (http://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS_Fonepad_8_FE380CG/), but could not find where to buy it. Moreover it does not sport 4G/LTE.
Are there any other models on the market?
Thanks
I've got the Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 SM-T325 (LTE)
Perhaps that is an option? Another is the Tab S 8.4" LTE.
They are the only two 7-9" phablets on the market with a 2K screen and MicroSD slot. (In Europe, anyway.)
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk 2
I'm also looking for a link to purchase a fonepad 8 FE8030 cg with 2gb ram. the Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 SM-T325 (LTE) is for me no alternative, because it does not support dual sim.
Thanks for your replies. I am looking for an 8-inch PHablet thus, not a tablet. Meaning I need phone capabilities, as in my Fonepad.
Heard of something on this side?
Thanks

It's available it many countries in asia region, you should be able to find it from local sellers. Since you didn't mention from which part of the world you come from I'll drop a few links.

If you are from one of those regions (Germany, Russia, etc) with 1GB Ram & 8GB storage, you should probably import the device with 2GB/16GB from Asia.
Hope this helps.
P.S: Newbie here, can't post links.
Hey,
I was just wondering what do you do with your tablets? Do you use it for entertainment or work? I wanted to get some ideas so I figured out I'll ask here.
Thanks for the answers
so only after a couple of days
So I bought the M5 10.8 LTE (CRM-AL09) 4GB / 64GB and I can tell you what I bought it for and used so far. Does that qualify to your question?
Short version: I use it as a cheap LTE connected laptop.
Long version:
The problem I was solving was the weird way USA T-Mobile charges for lines meant that in the family plan I pay for, 4 lines cost the same as 3 lines and so I was left with a T-Mobile phone line SIM in a dual-SIM phone doing nothing the vast majority of the time, as I have ATT line from work, so I was looking to move my T-Mobile SIM to something which could make a difference. Most laptops or tablets with LTE require a data SIM which costs something, a big phone can use a phone SIM which is cheaper or for me effectively free.
I already owned a Nexus 10 I used when home, I'd replaced its battery so it did a good job or being at home on strong Wifi (Nexus 10 Wifi is crap) and just watch videos or just use Chrome. So a high-res 10" Wifi was covered.
I already owned a Nexus 7 2013, I'd also replaced its battery, for pocket-size 7" size.
I already had a Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus which was a 8" Wifi. So 8" Wifi was covered.
So I figured I'd go for a basically massively big phone so when not on Wifi I got a laptop type size device, without paying for a tablet data line.
That means for me its a laptop when on the move which is independently LTE connected. I have a 128GB SD card so its got lots of downloaded media.
Entertainment... Internet, YouTube, videos, ebooks, private mail.

Hi, I have 8.4" Mediapad and it's my main driver. I use it mainly for watching online videos, web browsing ect whilst on breaks at work. Also use it as phone. Best tech I've bought
It's my every day phone. I use it for everything...just wish it had an ear speaker. Great for videos and media. Call quality could be better but otherwise, a great device with 4G capabilities in the U.S. (STH-AL09.)
