Nokia Lumia UK version on Canadian bands?

I am planning to get a 800 but it is the UK version. Would it work on Canadian frequencies? Anyone know?
No, more here:

Why wouldn't it?
For RM-801, you may not get HSPA+
For RM-819, you will get HSPA+
When i was in canada it worked perfectly. 3G is spotty in some areas but otherise you get 1900mhz to yourself since Canada's 3G mainly works on 850mhz.

Frequency/bands question

Hi,
I have a frankenstein v30 converted from at&t (currently on verizon).
I'm taking a trip to the phillippines and was planning on buying a prepaid sim when i get there and I just want to make sure that this phone is compatible.
Any way to check which bands are available?
Thanks so much

What firmware model did you use as destination during Frankenstein?
If you're on US998 firmware, then you have the US998 bands. If you're on VS996 firmware, then you have the VS996 bands.
US998 bands are listed in the Frankenstein instructions (see below). Verizon VS996 bands are easily searchable.
http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-US998-Unlocked-v30
US998
CDMA: 800 MHz CDMA
2G GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G UMTS (HSPA):850/900/1900/2100 MHz
4G LTE Bands: 1/2/3/4/5/7/12(17)/13/20/25/66
Compare the bands for Philippine carriers listed in the link below with the bands in Chazz' post. Then choose a local carrier based on coverage where you're going (and price/allotments, of course).

LM-V600VM (LG V60 Verizon) roaming bands

Hi I am planning to get a LG V60 Verizon Variant (network unlocked) but I have a problem with the band frequencies because the LTE band that is supported in my countrie are Band 3,28,41. I want to know if I inserted a sim (from my country) will I be able to access the bands that is listed as roaming in the LG V60 tech spec sheet without activating data roaming? or does the band only activates in data roaming?
Yes but do not have B41 so check region where you can use B41. with B28 and B3 no problem
