Hi there,
I think I know the answer and I think it's 'no', not 100% sure though. Can I apply Cyanogenmod 11 to my phone and then 'unroot' it? My Barclays banking app requires an unrooted phone, and I see it's listed on the RootCloak page as one that that module can't cope with.
Thanks,
Toby

Ok...so really pretty simple then?!
Thanks!
Hi there, I'm new to rooting but want to give it a try on my old HTC One phone with Android 5.0.2
Reason I want to root the phone is quite silly, and perhaps dumb.
I simply want to GPS spoof on Pokemon GO as there are nothing in my area of interest.
I know Pokemon GO is about going out etc. but this is just something that motivated me to try to root my first phone.
So I am wondering which root I should pick to root my phone, and later on be able to GPS spoof and make the Pokemon GO app think I'm somewhere else, without the app noticing I'm GPS spoofing, and also hiding the fact that the phone has been jailbreaken from the app.
Thank you so much in advance.

Hey guys, I've been looking around on how to use this app for a while now, but haven't exactly found anything detailed and applicable. All I know is I need it activated as an Xposed module and that it works only on offline apps.
Right now, I'm trying it on this game called Implosion(but haven't been successful), and I want to learn to use it on other apps as well. So I hope someone can help me out with this.
The latest Pokemon Go update has blocked access for rooted users
In searching for a root fix, other than rerooting with the Magisk method, I discovered a solution that uses RootCloak and This App to get around a block put in place by a previous app for a Nintendo game that was blocked. I know the issues are probably different. I already used to RootCloak to block Pokekemon Go from seeing root, but no success. I'm tagging developers involved in the previous app to get their thoughts. Azbulldog ChrisJosten.

Hi,
i have got an idea how it could probably work, but my programming skills and knowledge are too low to try it. The idea is the following:
With any kind of "minimal virtual machine" for just one app, which connects to GPS/WIFI/... from the real device, with faking OS version, root and so on (but takes REAL!! values for position for example). This idea would be very special for Pokemon Go and i think there would be just 1 problem: even if it works, this vm-app would maybe count as "emulator" which niantic not allows.
Would be nice to get any answer like "good idea" or "will never work" or something like that
If you like this idea, feel free to try to create such an vm-app for Pokemon Go
€dit: another idea, but most likely forbidden by Niantic: reverse engineering of the .apk and delete the SafetyNet check (I think this would could as modified client...)
Good Morning,
i found at random something interesting: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.nodevicecheck
Since i do not have xposed installed atm on my GT-I9505 (CM13), is there any chance to ask for some1 else may try this? @KoolCharisma, i am interpreting your first post as "i use xposed", could you maybe try it?
And if it works for you, would you please add some information about your device? Especially Firmware and Xposed versions.
Thanks

Hi all,
I've been looking for quite some time now for a way to turn my phone into a Wifi repeater.
About a year ago I read somewhere about a chinese app called "fqrouter2", which is mainly
used as a vpn tunnel but also has a feature for rooted phones to host a hotspot while being
connected to another wifi network.
The last version of fqrouter2 was released more than a year ago and only supported up to
Android 2.3. While I found quite a few people saying on the Internet that it is possible
on a rooted phone to use the wifi modules for sending AND recieving at the same time,
I was not able to find any alternative app so far.
I have pretty much no programming skills, so I have no idea how hard it is to write such an app,
but I can't believe that I am the only person who wants such a feature for their phone, so maybe
there is something/someone out there which/who could help me?
Regards
Made an account just now to reply, plus xda is awesome.
I hope someone can figure this out, I to need this android 5.0
Bump.
No alternative?! Is this really the only App that can be used as a WiFi-Extender?!
bump.
did my monthly research, still couldnt find any new app/solution to turn my phone into a wifi repeater
Would be great to find an alternative in case this app ceased to update.

But how did you even get there?
I mean what did you download, install and run?
At the start i am getting an error,"XX-net exit unexpectedly"
And finally what is the name of your phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in future.
