I don't think so... I also have one more thing to fix in the kernel. Have you guys noticed very high battery usage? I've checked, and it seems like my phone does not go into deep sleep, and the battery just dies really quickly. I'll copy the clean source from Samsung, disable SELinux, and rebuild the kernel, maybe it will fix itself. Overall I'm taking a break for a few days, I'll try to fix the kernel next week.

Yea i removed it after one day because my phone died really quickly I was surprised then I again flashed stock rom. Now my device is clean.
Hi guys, I am new do xdadevelopers. I rooted phone yesterday with a prerooted method. Came with a problem that made my phone restart after apps being updated or installed. I did factory reset and solved that problem. In this prerooted method I got APUS. If you can tell me a little more about APUS. What exactly it is? My biggest problem right now is when i try to install twrp through odin on pc and download mode on grand prime, it shows me fail and on phone shows me custom binary blocked by frp lock. As I sad, i am really new to this and i am willing to learn.
So my questions are here:
1. What is APUS? And what do i need it for?
2. Why i need twrp recovery and why i can't install it?

Hello DZON wlecome to XDA Developers. I dont know what apus is I guess its a launcher.
Read this how to flash twrp:-
1. Frp lock is a security which dont let u flash some other unofficial frimwares and stuff.
2. You need to remove your all google accounts and then put your device in download mode and flash twrp with odin.
3. But if u again add google account again after flashing twrp ur device will get locked.
4. So theres a method to off frp lock forever. See this link:-

Yes remove google account and follow step 4. After the step 4 is completed you can add google account by the app quickshortcutmaker as described in 4th step.

Maybe not the right place to ask, but why is there not a separate Moto X Force forum? If things like this aren't compatible enough to be interchangeable it seems like that would be a good idea. My previous device was an HTC One M8 and the Verizon version of that had it's own forum specifically because there were things that would work on one that wouldn't work on another...

Because Turbo 2 and Moto X Force are basically the same device. Hopefully someone will figure out how to unlock Turbo 2 bootloader then we can have unified custom roms for both.

New Device Forum Requests
Boot loader unlock fit this phone is not going to happen. Verizon has royally screwed people like us. Only devices you can root and unlock on Verizon anymore are nexus devices.
Is there an updated version that fixes all the issues like upside down TWRP yet? I am still cautious about rooting my X Force until I am sure it's safe(ish) and is reversible for warranty porpoises.

An official build for the Force is now available here and it'll be updated in the toolkit ASAP.

WinDroid Toolkit v3.0 has been released! It's a huge update with a material redesign, major recode and support for 43 new devices!
You can out more specific changes in the changelog here.
You can download the new update here.
All versions before v3.0 will not have their files updated anymore since I've moved from hosting on BasketBuild to Amazon S3. Please update to v3.0 to ensure you're getting the latest recovery and root files!

Already tried. But mod seems to be thinking that both devices are the same - which is not true as in every single thread it says "mot x force only, don't use this on drod turbo 2"

The turbo 1 got unlocked? Pardon me while I have a quick heart attack. Lmao. I used to have that phone. Great device. I'm running the 2 now hoping for at least root. Would love CM 13 though.
First of all, thanks for you great work.
I and having some problems with the app, when I try to install TWRP, it says it was successful but no recovery was installed, when I flash by my own with the liink you provided it works great.
Then I also use the option in your toolkit to install SuperSU but after SuperSU is installed the phone stays at the Motorolla initial logo and freeze there

Don't worry, I obtain the solution. First of all, download this. Is the unsupersu.zip. With this, you will eliminate the bootloop with the motorola logo.

I've no idea what I did but my phone wouldn't even be recognised by usb. In the end I managed to find a stock EU android zip, then forced the individual files onto my phone. So no SU yet and I don't want to try again straight away haha!

Smartisan recovery is NOT WORKING. Try to flash with this recovery. Work properly for me..
Home Launcher...
Loved the ROM.... flashed it once and now back in XOSP.... Love to try this again... any way to change this default launcher.... I like the normal launcher style.....

hey, i tried another way.. and it worked!!
first i wiped the system and data and then flashed the old smartisan recovery and flashed the rom...
this time.. it worked!!thanks!

Hey, as long as you follow our flash guide, there won't be a bootloop.
How you get the v2.6.2? We don't release the international version of v2.6.2.
Please make the ROM to be TWRP flash compatible. Including OTA. This way it is easy to make nandroid backups of other Roms and encourage people to try Smartisan.
And of course the obvious next question. Any idea when we can see Marshmallow based Smartisan for OPO?

Installed 2.6.3 using TWRP 3+ by Tugapower.
Installed Google Apps from Smartisan Store.
Activated Inbuilt root.
Had problems restoring apps using Backup+
Changed and Flashed TWRP Tugapower using Flashify.

Installation Instructions:
If coming from anything other than Resurrection you MUST factory wipe.
- Download the latest build
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest TWRP recovery
- Reboot into ROM, once fully booted
- Reboot back into recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot.
- Enjoy!

Only when coming from one RR nightly to another.

- Take a nandroid backup

Give it ~5-10min to boot. i build for v521 and hammerhead and both took 5+MIN to boot after dirty-flash.

I can remove the magisk from the ROM zip but you would have to manually install either Magisk or SuperSU in order to gain root

what was the code? did it soft-brick or did it just boot and crash? sorry, its going to be hard for me to be of any real help because I don't actually have the device to test on. i have another kernel if you're able to flash files in twrp and want to try it out-->http://www.mediafire.com/file/v74089wuwaevjm7/v500KERNEL.zip

Using the different kernel success thank you so much. But both versions have Magisk still installed I even tried Uninstaller and Magisk is still in the system just says I am not rooted

That's probably just the magisk manager app. Just delete it and flash supersu for root.

you can just delete the magisk app i left it in because it was easier than rebuilding everything just to remove it. in settings-configuration-misc. theres systemapp remover
Believe me I have tried, Erased everything started with fresh rom. Flashed ROM, kernel, Uninstaller, superSU ver 2.46 and rebooted just get bootloops. Flash ROM, kernel, boots right away reboot to recovery and flash gapps perfect.

Yes i uninstall magisk on every rom that comes with it. I find it to be unstable and prefer supersu.
I think your bootloop occured from supersu 2.46 but I'm not sure. Nougat needs the latest 2.79.

Great Rom, I'm one of the testers, I have the XT1925-3 everything works very well. Just Remember to use TWRP X64.
Does seem to be working. Congrats on getting a 64-bit rom working on this phone!
I did see some weirdness where the phone didn't think it was connected to WiFi during the google setup, even though it was. Didn't seem to really hurt anything though (it immediately connected and continued on).
I did manage to get magisk working. I wasn't entirely sure which version you were recommending or where to download a build from, so I just pulled it and built it myself. That forced an update on first use anyway.
Finally there was someone willing and able to let our Motorola G6 run 64-bit operating systems, congratulations on your beautiful work, I've been using the rom for a few days and it's very stable! Your work was our salvation, thank you!
Thanks for the first 64-bit custom ROM. I have a question, does NFC work? Because I have moto g6 XT1925-5 and has an NFC module.

How can I install this rom? i was looking for an updated system for the moto g6, but i don't know how to install to try it out. As already reported above, it seems to me that the rom is very good for use. Could someone do a tutorial to install? I am a beginner in doing these procedures. ^_^

You don't need to go back. Download the 64bits recovery image from the link provided. You can flash it through your current 32bits recovery. After that, do the normal wipe... Dalvick , data and cache. Install the ROM, install gapps...

I do have some questions, too
First: i'm using stock pie pps29.55-37-7 on xt1925-3 with magisk, boot.img signed and TWRP 32 bits.
To begin, i need update my twrp to 64 bits right? Then, after updated, i can flash this rom directly or i have to wipe system before flash this rom?
2nd: after 1st, i have to flash gapps then magisk?
i'm really sorry for newbie questions, but i lost 4 days months ago to get this rom rooted... is such a pain that motorola doesnt make an easy update like one plus or maybe samsung to get root etc.
oh, just an last question: can i use titanium backup and restore my actual apps in this rom? because since its an 64 bits system, i dont know if i could use to restore 32 bits apps.

You only need to wipe data, because it is encrypted. Do it by fastboot erase userdata.
I think data backup made with 32 bits will not work. Not sure

You don't even have an installation guide...what recovery? Nothing... seriously?
Flashed with safe strap. Boot loop...then I had to flash nc1 kernel zip. Booted, but system ui keeps crashing. This rom is junk
@chrisnice906......SafeStrap for the N900A is no longer supported by Hashcode; as such it wouldn't work.
If you want to install the ROM use FlashFire Pro.
Steps:
Download the ROM, use FlashFire to first select "Reboot to Download Mode" and flash the ROM. After flashing, use Odin to flash the Lollipop OC1 kernel and then reboot to recovery mode to factory reset. After reboot normally and wait for 5-10 minutes for the ROM to boot successfully.
If you have issues with the System UI, I will advice not to use the AOSP overlays for now. If you still have issues, I will have to come up with a fix.

And yes it did work with safestrap. Just kept getting force closes.
Maybe flash with safestrap, boot to download mode then flash the oc1 kernel. But I also flashed with safestrap then flashed oc1 kernel zip. Maybe do that then factory reset?

And yes it did work with safestrap. Just kept getting force closes.

If it works with SafeStrap, you can flash, boot to download mode, flash OC1 kernel, then boot to recovery mode and factory reset; though my advice is to use FlashFire because it is hassle-free and easier to use.
Like I said before if there is anything wrong with the ROM, just say what it is and I will try to find a solution. Enjoy the ROM!

If you are using normal FlashFire, set the date to any older than 2013. But for FlashFire Pro, you don't need to alter anything.

If you want to install the ROM use FlashFire Pro.
Steps:
Download the ROM, use FlashFire to first select "Reboot to Download Mode" and flash the ROM. After flashing, use Odin to flash the Lollipop OC1 kernel and then reboot to recovery mode to factory reset. After reboot normally and wait for 5-10 minutes for the ROM to boot successfully.
If you have issues with the System UI, I will advice not to use the AOSP overlays for now. If you still have issues, I will have to come up with a fix.

Hi Danny,
I am using 4.4.2 and I tried to flash this rom from Safetrap. After I do a factory reset my phone got stuck at Samsung logo this is the second try. The first try I do with Flashfire Pro but can't flash it keeps say errors. and also I don't know how to reboot to download mode from Flashfire.
Can you help me? Do I need to upgrade to 5.0? I can't find the root file for 5.0 .
