I dont know how you are flashing..I assume it is through TWRP. You are getting boot loop because your bootloader is locked. Unlock it through miflashunlock and it should be working again

Are you able to get into fastboot?
If you are, check using the command fastboot devices oem-info. If it shows device unlocked as true, follow this guide
http://en.miui.com/thread-250455-1-1.html
Your device should be back to life.
Or else, take it to service center and get the rom flashed free of cost

What version of windows you're using..?, Did you already tried flashing EDL mode with another pc..?, because some windows version get troubled about driver, and other 3rd party software in their windows system while using specific MiFlash tool.
Also you can try it flashing EDL mode with older version of MiFlash, you can download it from here.. but this version doesn't support 32bit system, you must using 64bit system.

Phone Stuck in Bootloader

Hello, I updated my redmi note 3 to The 6.9.9 stable version:fingers-crossed:. But as there as many bugs, I tried to rollback to the previous version:silly:. But I'm now stuck on Bootloop:crying::crying:. Help me plz. ADB is not enabled, bootloader is locked & the phone is not rooted.
Use EDL mode. Search it in Google (MIUI Forum).
is EDL also used to get completly stock? i might sell my kenzo to buy a kate ... and i would like to sell with official global stable
EDL is used if your device bootloader is not unlocked.. The fastboot method is for unlocked bootloader only.. Yes, completely stock
Sorry, i should have posted whats my device status:
1. flashed global dev rom via EDL mode
2. updated to MIUI 6.9.9 6.0.1 MM
3. unlocked bootloader officialy with xiaomi tool
4. flashed ALKA TWRP
5. Did a wipe because phone encryption was on, after wipe i was able to backup all partitions
6. flashed Supersu
Now if i want to go completly stock, do i have to flash latest MIUI rom via fastboot instead of EDL?
Then everything is back to stock, even the Bootloader is locked?
It's up to you, it's same.. EDL should be fine

Your Windows is 32Bits? If yes, use latest MiFlash tool. And check if file folder has no spaces like this C:\Users\Name\Desktop\Redmi Note\
If has space, remove all spaces. Put ROM in C:\ROM folder for example...

Bootloader

Can I Unlock Bootloader and Install TWRP (ZCX~TWRP) On Stable ROM Kenzo 32GB v8.0.6. I've Obtained Permission and downloaded the required files ( ZCX TWRP ,Mi flash and Xiaomi drivers ) Please answer the questions below
1.Can I Unlock Bootloader on Stable ROM ?
2.Unlocking bootloader means I will loose all data right?
3.can I directly flash ZCX TWRP after unlocking bootloader ?
I couldnt unlock it on stable, but no harm if you try
Unlocking doesnt mean you will lose data, you lose nothing
You can flash after unlockibg bootloader.
And you can unlock it as many times you need (it gets locked if you flash MIUI again or if you switch MIUI android version..

I managed to unlock BL yesterday on 12 years old 32bit laptop with XP
I could only enter fastboot mode, so I installed old MiFlash;
http://bigota.d.miui.com/tools/MiPhone20151028.exe
Then I selected Drivers in that file to get ADB interface bootloader working, then I used MiUnlock and it went success
i didnt have my computer with 64bit win10 at hand where I have everything working tip top, so I tried that and it worked...maybe it can help someone too

Upgrade CM 13 to CM 14.1 failed - no recovery mode anymore

Hi guys,
first of all: I am an idiot
I was using an old nightly from CM 13-kenzo and decided to do some preparation to finally migrate to Lineage without data loss.
So I wanted to go to CM14.1 before flashing the experimental Lineage and the nightly.
What did I flash with TWRP?
1.) ROM: cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-kenzo.zip
2.) GAPPS 7.1 ARM64 micro
3.) Firmware: CM14.1-firmware_20161205.zip
I think I should have flashed the firmware first, moreover, I didn't wipe caches.
What's happening now?
Recovery mode does not work (the display just flash for half a second)
Booting does not work (ofc )
Fastboot mode still works.
How can I fix this nice problem with Cyanogenmod?
Any help is much appreciated.
Bro,I also faced this problem. Just go to guides section and follow the guide"install zcx twrp without unlocking bootlader" one. And flash by that method twrp and you will get it all back.
I have also faced problem same you are facing and solved it!!!

Do you mean the MiFlash Unlock tool? That doesn't work.
It's saying "Your device isn't supported by Mi Unlock" Go to .../unlock to apply for Mi Unlock support.
If you mean XiaomiMiFlash tool, what exactly do I have to flash?

Yes, I mean Miflash tool. You need to folow this guide
http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
And remember you will lost all data in internal memory, you will get back to MIUI with that guide. Then try to unlock your bootloader officially or unofficially again.
Or if you woud like to take risk then you can try this way https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/unlock-unofficially-install-zcx-twrp-t3586778 without data lost

So if you damaged the recovery and your bootloader is locked theres no way to rescue this phone without a xiaomi shop but good luck
Okay problem solved. I used this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/kate-guide-install-lineage-os-locked-t3546154 and it worked like a charm.

Please help me

I have a RedmI Note 3 (kenzo) running Lineage OS 14.1
The RAM usage reports around 150MB of use only and there is no free RAM. So I think there is a problem with my phone and I decide to flash everything to start again.
I found a compatible kernel and flashed that new kernel and I got bootloop.
I read that if I flash the ROM again, the kernel will be replaced by the default one so I went to do that with TWRP.
Went to TWRP to flash my ROM and got error 7.
Read a bit more and I read that somethimes very old TWRP will show that message for new ROM.
Indeed, my TWRP was quite old.
Followed steps to flash my TWRP recovery to newer version in TWRP.
Now my TWRP recovery can't even work.
Try to flash ROM with ADB, but I forgot to enable debugging before bootloop.
Is there a way I can fix it?
I don't need the things on my phone.
I just want it to work again.
Thank you for reading and provide me with guidance to fix my phone.
Trying to flash MIUI ROM using MiFlash. Hope it works. Then I can work my way back to Lineage OS.

I will do that after some sleep.
I have another thing to worry about. The charge light is not on and my phone won't shut down. It can only bootloop or in fastboot. I put it on fastboot now. Still don't know how to shut it down or not sure if it is charging because there is no charging light.
I followed this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/fix-bootloop-redmi-note-3-recovery-edl-t3521297
Flashed it, MiFlash says operation was successful but still won't boot up normally.
Now I don't have to worry about running out of battery because it boots to logo and turns off to nothing.

[SOLVED] Tried restoring a original firmware to my Redmi note 9s but I'm unable to.

Hello, I'm having trouble restoring my Redmi note 9s to the stock firmware, basically I installed a custom rom but I want to revert back to stock since it has annoying problems and I'm fed up dealing with them.
I tried downloading a stock firmware and installing it with official Xiaomi tools but I just can't install them for my life, even got a bootloop, thought bricked the phone and that scared me lol. (it failed to install the stock firmware halfway)
My problem relies on the official tool not working and the drivers not working, the tool detected my phone after troubleshooting for like 4 hours searching a driver and trying all the Xiaomi flash tool versions I found, but it just won't install the official firmware, always giving some error.
If anyone here is kind enough to maybe direct me to a guide that works or just tell me what worked for them that would be appreciated, I just want to finally install Global firmware on my phone.
Thanks!

The last time I tried it was the miui 13 but it was not a timeout error, it was weird, I think it detected my phone and all that but when it started installing, it gave out an error when it was maybe half way and hung, luckily I have a custom recovery so I realized I didn't brick it and just installed a custom miui 13 rom from here
