Gear Fit (1st Gen) Battery Drain While OFF - Samsung Gear Fit

I noticed this problem for a while since I don't wear this watch much anymore.
The battery would drain even though it's off. How do I prevent this?

Yes, I must charge every week if I do not want it drain to 0

[Q] troubleshooting battery drain issue

I am looking for some thoughts on troubleshooting a mysterious battery drain issue.
My TF-201 and dock used to hold a charge for a week or more when doing nothing. Recently my TF201 will drain the battery in less than a day even when docked. I notice this when I try to use it and it is dead. Of course, once it's dead, I can't view batter stats or use Better Battery stats to see what is causing the drain. The data is gone.
Here's what's happening. The Asus is docked and closed and will idle for a day or two and I might get a 10% drop in battery charge. Then, it just drops to zero the next day.
I am examining if there are any events that are schedule to occur that might keep Wi-Fi on or the CPU out of a deepsleep, either or both would drain the batter, but since I haven't caught it at a low enough point that shows massive drain without being completely drained, I haven't had much luck.
I haven't tried leaving it undocked to see if the problem persists (if it didn't, that indicates a problem with the keyboard/dock. It did persist, that would indicate a problem elsewhere).
Any ideas on how to proceed?

Hi,
If you check the battery usage you can see what app is using your battery. Maybe an app or a process running and this causing the drain. If you cannot see anything there I would do a factory reset..

[Q] Android 4.4.2 draining battery too fast?

I recently bought the Google Nexus 5 which had android 4.4.2 out of the box. The phone is awesome but there's only one problem: its battery drains out too fast. My phone has been lying idle since 7am in the morning and its 11 am right now and its already down to 65% (mobile data is on though). Iv to charge my phone atleast twice a day. My friend has the same phone but he hasnt updated to android 4.4.2 and his phone runs almost a day with medium usage.
According to the battery stats, Android app is draining most of my battery (47%) which is even more than the screen. Is this normal? And is there anything i can do to fix this problem?
My WiFi is swiched off. My screen brightness is set to 30% and iv disabled google plus as i read in some forum it causes the battery drain, Iv also disabled google now and location settings are also switched off.

HTC One sudden heat and power usage

Hi everybody!
I've had my AT&T HTC One (M7? not the new one) for several months now and it's great. All of a sudden it's running really hot and chewing up battery. On the 1A wall charge it's fine but when charging from my computer it actually loses battery not stays charged or charging. This morning (about 9:30AM) it was at 100%. Now, just over two hours later, it's at 86%.
I uninstalled/disabled some extra apps. But it's still happening.
Usage according to the battery manager is:
Android System 56%
Google Play services 13%
Nova Launcher 7%
Mediaserver 7%
Android OS 6%
Any suggestions appreciated. My phone is not rooted or anything I am simply posting here because some of you are the smartest and most competent smartphone experts I know of, and have come up with some fantastic software and workarounds.

Turn off the auto light sense and set it for manual or use a third party app. The sensor polling and adjusting all the time eats the battery.
Hi, if you are referring to auto brightness, I disabled that, and it's not really helping. It's not getting quite as hot but battery is draining awfully fast and it is still warmer than usual.

Have you disabled everything you don't use?

what is your battery drain on aeroplane mode

Hi,
On marshmallow and nougat with no user apps installed, ie 'factory reset' I have noticed I sometimes get excellent battery, eg I lose pretty much just 2% in an 8 hour period.
However sometimes it is 2% per hour.
It is not an app causing this, no wakelocks that I can see. It seems like maybe a certain sensor gets 'stuck on' and keeps draining the battery.
It happens when not in aeroplane mode as well but is less noticeable as the battery is drained by normal use then as well.
At first I thought it was maybe google play services body sensor permissions causing it but I removed permissions and the drain still happened.
Anyone else noticed this.
I'm a bit OCD about battery, on my moto g 1st gen I only lost 1% max overnight in aeroplane mode so 2% per hour cannot be right.
Scott
FWIW, I was at 100% before bed last night so left mine in aeroplane mode overnight.
Was at 96% nine hours later. I was very pleased with that.
Thanks for the reply. I returned my phone and got a new one. Old one drained 2% an hour. The new one drained 1% in 7 hours last night. So I think the old phone was faulty.
Hopefully the new one doesn't develop the same fault.
Scott
Looks like my new phone has the fault as well. Something causes the phone to use 2% per hour over and above normal use. Probably a sensor stuck on and using power.
I will return this phone as well and give up on Wileyfox.

Xiaomi Mi note 10 lite battery drain Issue .

Hey I hope you guys are doing great !
Well i bought this phone like last month and the battery was working fine for the first few days but then its battery started decreasing faster than before while using the same apps as before. The most battery drains while its still in the idle conditions and overnight.
At first it would only loose like 1 or 2 percent over night but now it looses like 1 percent battery every hour it stays idle.
I have attached 2 screenshots below to show what I'm talking about . Both screenshots were taken 1 day apart and as you can see , sometimes the battery works fine but sometimes it drains a lot and its mostly when its idle. Kindly suggest me something if you got anything in mind that what might be the issue here.
Maybe the radio of your phone, that's what's draining mine fast.
And Facebook is a well known battery drainer
If you tap on the graph once, it allows you to find out the battery drain for specific time intervals and their length can be adjusted as well. Please do that and tell us which app or apps are draining the most battery during standby. Btw is your aod on? Aod prevents the device from sleeping properly so the battery drain can rise up to 2% per hour if its on. If that is not the case as well, try turning off location and nfc if they are not being used, and turn off wifi and cellular before going to sleep and then check the drain. Also try disabling google play protect from play store, and check out the link below which improved battery life for many people including myself:
