Hey.
I have Samsung Tab 10.1 GT-P7510(Wifi version I think), after updating it to official ICS, instaling CWM via Odin, the screen in recovery mode is jumping.
Searched the forum, found the bootloader fix, the recovery stopped jumping, I rooted the devise, flashed new ROM (Revolution something), and every time the screen is turning off it is starting to jump again, the only way of fixing it is to restart the devise until the screen deems again, or instal the stock ROM to fix it permamently, but it sucks.
The only solution that I found on the forum was the bootloader I already installed.
Can any one help a noob pls?
Thank you
I have the same problem and still suffering from it i did not found any material to fix it. Lets see may be some one will help us...

It is what is stopping me from rooting my ICS Stock version. CWM load results in rolling recovery screen and fixing that with bootloader results in rolling wake-up screen. Have reloaded HC 3.2 and run the ICS update again to fix it. This has been covered in quite a few other threads, but none of them is fixing Stock ICS rooting... CM10 or equivalent ROMs will remove that problem, but I am still under warranty, and if something happens...
Hey guys, FYI I I had the Rolling problems Recovery and wake! but I recieved my P7510 back from samsung repair, I bricked it....and it came back with factory installed ICS on it I swore I was not going to Root or try ROMs for awhile!
Three days later I had flashed;
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) 2.2.2.1 - GT-P7510 HERE via Odin.
Toldo's "Stock ICS roms, rooted, deodexed, zipaligned UELPL" for GT-P7510 aka the WiFi tab from HERE. With no rolling Recovery or from wake!
Then I decided to flash via TWRP, Toldo's JellyBeanRom ICS v7 from HERE then flashed Yoda's Kernel v2.2 from HERE No Rolling anything I love how my Tab is running now!
I have not tried CWM as of yet but try out TWRP, I didn't get any rolling with just TWRP and Factory installed ICS and if you want a good Stock Rooted ICS HERE!
It's just 2 flashes a way it will take less time than troubleshooting and waiting for an answer!

I had the same problem you are having when I first tried installing pershoot's recovery and bootloader for CM10.
Here is how I fixed it:
1. Flash recovery via odin. When tab reboots hold volume down to boot into download mode.
2. Flash bootloader via odin, When tab reboots hold volume down to enter recovery.
3. Wipe cache and davlik, flash ROM.
During this process my tab would get the rolling screen during the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 screen and wouldn't stop after each step if I didn't hold down volume key during reboot.
Now I am on CM10 with no rolling screen and no SOD.
Hope this helps.

FYI... I flashed the bootloader and the recovery through the PDA slot on odin.
Exactly the same problem here, I tried countless ways but none is working, currently downloading the UK version ICS to see if the same problem will occur or not
EDIT: Same problem as before
What is cousing this problem? Not every one have this but it is pretty common, is it the soft or the hardware?
Trying all the solutions now...
The recovery process described here:
http://www.androidauthority.com/gal...kmod-recovery-5-5-0-4-custom-recovery-102580/
Should install 5.5.0.4, which works for me. Assuming, of course, that you're device is a P7510.

Yes, I have the same problem so I guess everyone does, anyway I'm getting used to rebooting it whenever I need to use it
Anyone tried another recovery program other than CMW here?

Go to http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/roms/cm10/p4wifi/
Download and unzip 4.0.4 booatloader ZIP.
Download recovery.tar.md5
I had to play with it a few times to get it to work but I flashed both of them via the PDA slot in odin. I also didn't change the file name in anyway before I flashed them.
This is what i used to fix my rolling screen which rendered my tablet useless, I still get a flicker from time to time when using the tablet in general. I believe this is a problem with the rom and not with the bootloader or recovery.
Found a solution, not the best, but it is working for me.
The problem was in the bootloader, it was trashing the ROMs, so I installed 5.5.4.0 memoriezed the path to the .zip in the recovery mod, flashed stock ICS, flashed recovery, placed the ROM.zip in the general directory on the tablet, booted to recovery.
It was rolling, the path is
Volume Up (Right) - Instal zip
Power - Enter
Power - Choose zip from internat sd card
Volume Down (Left) - ***Go Back***
Volume Down (Left) - is the last file\dir in the list, if you plase only the rom there, you cant miss.
Power (Enter aka install this)
Volume down x5 times to go from no to yes
Power (Enter) Wait to install to complete a few minets, you will see the color change in the flickering ><
Volume Down (Left) - Go Back
Power - Enter
Power - Reboot Now
The new rom installed, working (For me atleast), the recovery is still broken, but if you leave only one .zip file there you can use this path every time.
This is for desperate ppl like me, that none of the solutions above worked for them. It workes on CWM 5.8.X.X too
Hope I helped.
Still waiting for a normal fix

Hello Guys
I Installed Twrp Recovery in my moto E..But Now I Want To Go Back In My Stock Recovery..Means i Dont Want Any Of Those Cwm or Twrp..i Want to be in Stock Recovery...
Will Flashing Stock Rom/Firmware ..Resolve My Problem???
Or I Need To Flash Something Else??
++++
Will I Be Able To Upgrade To Official Updates From Moto E
1.If My Phone's Bootloader Is Unlocked
2.If I Install Twrp/Cwm Recovery
Or I Need To Be In Stock Recovery + Locked Bootloader To Get Official Updates In Future
Just flash the stock recovery only.No need to flash whole ROM.
You'll be fine.
You will receive updates on unlocked BL but you will need stock recovery and unmodified system to update successfully.

Extract your stock ROM, you will find a "recovery.img" file. Thats your stock recovery.
To flash it, you need to boot into fastboot and run the command,
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Yes, flashing your stock ROM will also flash the stock recovery back. You will lose all your data on the device though, so it is not recommended if you need recovery only.

Yes exactly even bootloader is not turning on. I am pressing volume down and power button but it's not turning on. That's why I am helpless like what to do when bootloader is not working otherwise I would have done that.

are you sure your new rom bootloader is higher than the old one?
Is your model no. correct?
i think you flashed wrong rom.
Find the correct rom for your device (if you don't remeber Old Build no., just find the latest rom)
flash to your device . (if it is Ok, you can go to recovery mode.)
In recovery mode , wipe & reset your cache, data.
Agree. Reflash the correct official ROM that includes the boot loader . .. If you can. My experience with latest official ROM has a Blind Download Mode (black screen) on the GT-i9200. Might be the same on the i9205.

So as the last resort go to download mode and reflash stock ROM. Be sure you flash your actual version of Android because you can not downgrade once you upgrade to 4.4.

Let's try, it costs nothing. The differences between regional versions of firmware are mainly in radio part - after flashing firmware from very different region unit should stand up normally, only then could be problem with data exchange or making calls. The rest should be normal.
It is hard to determine which version of firmware you have actually on your unit. Problem lays in bootloader - with upgrade to 4.4 the bootloader is changing to new one and there is no way back. So if you try to flash 4.2 after upgrade to 4.4 you can soft brick your phone.
IMHO safest way for you is to find and flash newest 4.4 firmware for your region. If there will be problems after flashing try to make factory reset from recovery. Best luck.

Hey Guys
So I consider myself fairly experienced when it comes to rooting my phone's and installing custom ROM's etc. I have been using a custom rom running 5.1.1 android for ages now and it was fine. I got excited that the new Marshmallow update was out so I decided I wanted to try it out. I downloaded the Vodaphone official ROM and installed via Odin which successfully worked. I then rooted it using the Space Kernel and everything is working fine. Problem is that I can't install a flaming recovery onto the device.
It's a SM-G925F and was Sim free, bought it from Carphone Warehouse without a contract attached to it. I have tried every variant of TWRP 3.0.X and every time I get the normal "Is not SEAndroid Enforcing" message but it won't go any further than that!
Am I doing something wrong, I've tried flashing it with Odin via .tar files and Flashily with .img.
Has anyone got this to work or knows what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Try the recovery from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...cex-kernel-android-6-mm-galaxy-s6-s6-t3315896
Make sure to flash as AP and untick auto reboot in Odin.

Hi,
I have the reboot loop after flashing any of the .570 rom. I have tried the flashable zip from one thread and have also tried a couple of FTFs with APP Log and UserData wipe selected.
Does anyone know why this isn't working on my phone? I have a regular 4G Z2 with a locked BL.
Thanks,

I don't know BUT today he make the new one with the latest version 570 with this fix bootloop I can try and enjoy MM rom .
I saw this, I have now flashed the ultraslim rom and the .570 fix instead.
What is the bootloop like? I have bootloop after flash the 570 made from a tft. It shows the SONY logo and then black screen for seconds then auto reboot. I'll try that bootloop fix zip tomorrow. Hope that will work.
My bootloop consisted of the ROM booting but as soon as you touched the screen to check a box or unlock the screen it would restart. The fix by niaboc works as I've applied it on the ultraslim ROM, now using the latest kernel and latest ROM!
To fix the bootloop, have to flash via recovery.
Then how I enter the recovery while this handheld keep restart at welcome screen.thanks for ur respons
Touch the screen and hold volume down! If you've installed a ROM without recovery then you'll have to reflash a ftf and start again
