My name is Hemant Bhujbal & i am new to here. I have read lot of android smartphone related topic over here.
Now i want to place my query related my LG V10. So friends recently i have bought imported unlocked LG V10 from ebay & phone is really awesome, camera is pretty good. But issue was coming up when i had try to update my device. Recently T Moblie introduced Marshmallow update to LG V10 device, but when i am trying to update my device its getting error.
Can any one please help me to update my device.

OTA says I need to restart and install it errors on install approx. 429 MB update I have done it 6 times already have to take out battery to restart after it errors.
I have permanent SIM unlocked phone .and I want to update to mm6.0
Present software :5.1.1 loollipop
Rooted :yes
It's mobile h901
Warranty:I bought imported phone unlocked so no warranty guide me safe way to update my phone

Hey folks, sorry to open a thread about this question but one of my friend unlocked his p765 (indian version) flashed recovery and then cm10.2 but he is facing problem with network. Most of the times he is not able to call neither he is able to recieve call. The network loss is not permanent but it goes and comes very frequently. Does he need to flash any baseband or as such? Searching the entire forum can be very painful so thought I shud better ask in the general section. Any help appreciated.
Edit: Please ignore, luckily he lost his phone.

if your using us p769 with t-mobile on custom rom use carloswii5's radio.zip file to flash right baseband

My LG v10 has just gone into bootloop forever.
I am seeing there is alot of people reporting this issue recently?
Any update from LG.
And how can i claim warranty if I got my phone from eBay.. its the F600k Olleh version from Korea.

are we screwed because I asked LG a while back for the screen burn and they didnt give any support
Hi mine got bootlooping issue too, I cant even go to recovery mode. LG recommended to change the motherboard, which is too expensive option for me. LG V10 F600S here. Please update here if you manage to find a solution

This worked and I could backup my files and delete before getting my replacement and sending this one off. I don't know how it will work long-term but if you just need to get your files - try it! Hello, I recently bought a used T-Mobile LG v10 from ebay.
The person said "clean imei but may go bad so purchase assuming that the imei will go bad"
The phone has a different imei in the software compared to the sticker under the battery.
Now this phone is locked and I would like to unlock it. I do all my unlocking at unlockbase.com
Now to unlock this phone, you need to run the T-Mobile "Device Unlock" app
But when I run the app, this is the response...
Connecting to server, please wait...
Server not responding, Please try again later.
Because of this I am unable to unlock the phone.
Is there anyway to work around this or get the app to work.
I also noticed the WIFI cuts off automatically sometimes.

You don't loose the unlock, once the phone is unlocked it stays unlocked. I bought my v10 on ebay and am using it in Honduras, updated it once before rooting, never lost the unlock

Ok... So I have tried all the possible ways of rooting my phone V10 H960A but failed. I cant unlock my bootloader because my phone is UAE Middle East variant and the LGE official bootloader unlock site says that it isn't allowed to be bootloader unlocked. All I want is the unlock.bin for unlocking my bootloader... All I am thinking is that if anybody having a european variant which can be officially bootloader unlocked, can share his unlock.bin file with me so I can unlock my phone bootloader. Please anybody? Can you help???

No one has this file ... Every body wants to unlock bootloader
But... Till now now way is found...
No official support I think...

The Unlock.bin File is generated by your IMEI Number. It's only for one Phone, Your's. No other Phone in the hole World would use it or unlock it. Have u proof a VPN? And then try to Unlock the Bootloader on the LG Site? What is if you try to Sideload? Have you look of existing Tools or a App that can do it? What Model is Your V10? My Model is h960a with the Android 7 ATR Turkey Rom.
Write us if you find anything in the internet.
One Question to you, why you have too Unlock your V10? If you Unlock that Bootloader and Flash a Custom Rom that Second Display won't work either and the Google Play Store have a new Security Software in the Store that control's if your Smartphone has Root and Custom Rom installed.
If that happens, the Play Store won't give you any App or Game to download. And, for Nougat don't exist a Tool or anything to Root that V10 yet.
If you find anything, please tell us here and Post it to all the Users they also have or had that same Problem like you...

But unlocking bootloader is supported only for
LG V10: H960A for the European market
And only on MARSHMALLOW.
NOT AFTER NOUGAT...
I think We all have to wait for any magic other than official unlocking...

Oh, it's really [emoji22] i think. I don't know that only the h960a Modell is Supported. I don't think that LG the Unlock Models Upgrades to your Model and the other Models. Have you 64GB of ROM installed @ your V10? Have you think about to change only the Motherboard of the V10? It's a question about the Price but, that is a Idea i think or what is your thinking about?

I wanna unlock my bootloader because around 80% of the forums on rooting V10 H960A suggest a pre-unlocked bootloader before proceeding to the "ROOTING" process. I cant get my phone unlocked. I have been trying since last semester when I purchased this phone. I cant a f******g solution to this UAE model. Damn you LG.. Your policy sucks big time. I wont go for another LG phone ever in my life. I think I have tried doing this LGUP flashing thingy with 32GB ROM, but then the phone gets stucked at LG BOOTSCREEN or continously keep on bootloop and reboot loop.... Can you suggest some working Android 6.0 pre-rooted rom for my phone variant ????

My Model can Unlocked by LG on there Site. You have to look here in xda in the V10 Forum for a Pre Rooted Marshmallow ROM. I don't wanted to Root my Phone because i have Guarantee until September 2018. sorry, you have to ask Google or XDA Developers.

the local sim was working fine till i did an update(H83020f now) ,now sim locked i cant run the unlock app (local sim network"ooredoo") and the worst i checked my imei on t-mobile website and didnt recognize it , it means its not a t-mobile?
i wanna unlock it, or if i can install a fully new custom ROM like cm or any other , i just want it to work , plz help and thank you
