I tried with Assistive Zoom app from Google Play Store. Doesn't work at all.
Also tried Two finger pinch. Not working. From the Experimental features option.
I don't know what else to try out.
Try double left click to zoom in and right click or esc to zoom out.
Another option is to double click left but hold on second click and move mouse front/rear while holding.
Didn't work.
It funny I can hold Ctrl+Alt+Right Click and then use the wheel to zoom in or out on the browser. But won't work in the game map. Gotta be a bug to where it doesn't work in the games.
This isn't the game issue because I can zoom in and out on the Android Phone/iPad Pro Tablet without a problem.

On my old Dell Streak, and my Asus Transformer, I can zoom in on text until it was a comfortable size and double click it. This word wraps the text to the size of the screen.
I can't seem to do this on my beautiful new SGS2 The menu option "Auto fit pages" doesn't appear to work this way (although it is better than nothing)
Is there a way?
If u do search you'll definitely find answer in forum. I use Dolphin HD browser which does it with no probs.

I did search and although people asked the question, nobody appeared to have a valid answer.
opera mobile does it too.

I use Dolphin and it doesn't do it. Neither on any other application. So what's the solution?
On my old HTC it worked on anything I did it on.
I don't think that there's a solution for this (at least in the stock browser that I use), though I'm fine with the 'Auto-fit pages' option on.
What you're asking for is exactly what "Auto-fit pages" is for, and it works perfectly for me. I can only guess that something is different between our devices (branding changes, different FW versions etc..)
Despite being overkill for such a small issue, is trying a different ROM out of the question?
Solved it by enabling Pinch-zoom button. That is the -/+ that shows up in the bottom right of the browser when you touch the screen.
Strangely you have to use this and zooming with your fingers won't work as stated by this thread.

Pinch-to-zoom doesn't do it, but double tapping to zoom in/out does.
Double tapping won't get the zoom you require it will zoom to fit the screen.
Try enabling Pinch in Dolphin browser. It works and is already enabled in stock browser.

Not true. It zooms to suit the "Default zoom" setting.
The first attachment is normal viewing, and the second is after I double-clicked the top left of the article. As you can see, the text is reformatted to fit the screen (not the other way round), and it is more than large enough to read. This is with default zoom set to medium.
I know this is an old thread, but I found it by searching for a solution for this problem as I now have a Note with the same issue, on ICS.
I think it's Samsung’s fault. It worked perfectly on my Galaxy nexus.
however, the good news is that there is a solution.
Download ICS browser+ from Google Play. Its great.

You have to double click twice... First double click = zoom, second double click is text refllow.
After the second double click you can pinch and zoom to any desired level and the text will reflow accordingly :good:

Tried it but it won;t work. I did the automatically text reflow too option too and when I zoom in just past the screen it automatically zooms out.
Even if I do a double tap it automatically zooms out.
Maybe it's my firmware. I'm on stock "I9100XWLPD". Could you or anyone else that got this working let me know which "exact" stock firmware you have so I can give that a try?...
^ Tried 3 other Stock ROMS this morning and no dice with this working on ICS Browser+.
Which exact Stock ROM versions are you guys getting this to work on?...
I connected a bluetooth mouse I had lying around hoping it would allow me to use the browser like a desktop browser with support for things like popups that occur when hovering the cursor over a link/picture, dragging flash or other controls, drag-select text.
None of these things worked. The cursor appears and I can move, tap, drag and use the scroll wheel. But it basically behaves as a surrogate of my finger. All the web controls that would require a mouse on a desktop and that don't work with my finger, don't work any better with the cursor.
Is this the expected behaviour? I tried the stock browser, Dolphin and Firefox. They were all the same.
Is there any advantage to using a bluetooth mouse? The only things I can see are less fingerprints on the screen a better precision for positioning the text cursor. But my capacitive stylus covers those just as well.
Thanks.
Tried it on Chrome? Depends with FW are you on, and kernel.

Does it work properly on Chrome? From what I understand Chrome requires ICS and while I played with it briefly it seemed like it still needed work on stability and I use the camera for Evernote. But I'd be happy if ICS supports proper mouse integration.
I'm using Task 14 with Pershoot's kernal.
Thanks.

With what you are using, I believe you are getting the expected behavior. "an extension of your finger"

What would be the use of that? D:
An app that makes it possible to run mobile webapps full screen, kind of like the way the latest chrome beta can do, but for any site.
An keepass app with synchronization built in, and on top of that an internal Web browser, so you can have actions like "copy password" and "copy username" right there. Kind of the way 7 pass does it (on Windows Phone)
Nanaca crash, a simple flash game where the object is to throw a person as far as you can, kind of like "hit crazy frog" kind of game but a hit more advanced. Requires just one button so that would be perfect for Android smartphones.

Oh that's not what I understood. I guess the idea would work if the processing was quick enough and the picture high resolution enough. But front facing cameras are none of the above.
Thanks for your current suggestions, let me see more !
no more ideas?
I have an App Request too
An On-Screen Floating Object-Oriented Toolbar, with Back, Home, Menu, & Directional keys, + additional keys depending on active screen or current app
including a 'cycle-through elements' button then hit enter on the one you want to activate
things that can be done with your thumb from one small location.
then tap & hold contracts it into a smaller set of buttons
and you can select the number of buttons & their default positions for both the expanded state and the compacted state.
so it could be used to navigate around programs, select different elements, or used as a game controller, or keypad enhancement, or enhanced navigation etc

Is there a guide to basic gestures on TS2?
I have a lot of troble going BACK - Is it right to left or some type of diagonal gesture? I figured out the bottom left to top right brings up the menu mostly. Anything else?
Also, how the heck do you change the VOLUME of the external speaker?

Thanks. That's what I have been doing but it works like 20% of the time. It seems like going from the right upper corner down to the lower left corner works better, not sure why.
So hw do I get quickly get back to the "Home" screen in the stock Launcher from other pages in the launcher?
Press the Home button, down under the camera ?
If you long press that button it brings up the task list.

I've figured out a swipe to the right from the left bezel activates the menu button if available.

Hey now, that's handy to have!
I'd also recommend getting a third party gesture application. I use the paid version of gmd gesture control and have diagonal swipes configured for volume and a few other shortcuts. There is also a recommended free module for xposed framework called all in one gestures.
Hello!
I've tried to play CoD with gamepad but there is a strange issue. There is no way to create new gamepad due to request for change display to main, but switch button on Gamepad bar and in floating menu are greyed out. Gamepad shows up only on second screen. What is more - I've tried to play F1 which is compatibile but nothing changed. Some ideas?
With CoD mobile, I launch the game from the 2nd screen and then hit the game icon to launch the game pad on main screen. Has been working well for me that way.

also a tip for looking around while shooting at the same requires you to choose the red/black virtual joystick, but when you bind it to the shoot button icon on the right side of COD you need to put the bind icon (square with the + sign) half way on the shoot icon and half way on the touch screen. I usually put mines half way on the left center of the bullet/shoot icon, this way when you tap on the lower right corner of the red/black virtual joystick it will shoot and if you keep holding down and swiping you can look and aim while shooting.
