I have accessed a hidden menu with *#*#4636#*#*, and from various options I selected "CDMA prl auto" (original setting was "GSM only"). My phone is one of those China phones that works only on GSM network.
Now, my phone is stuck in some sort of boot loop (only part of loading logo shows and by part I mean only logo and no animation).
I can't access CWM nor download mode and I tried almost everything mentioned over here.
- I tried with adb, phone is not found.
- I tried with ChannelServer and ResearchDownload (phone is sometimes recognized by my PC as "Unrecognized USB Device" and I had some hope).
- Holding Volume +/- and Power Up doesn't go into download mode or CWM, it just shows the logo.
Phone specs:
MocorDroid2.3.5
MT6515_C910_HT_M2_EN_V03
6820_2.3.5_C910_HUITENG_M2_EN_V03
sprdroid_base-user 4.0.4 MocorDroid2.3.5 MT6515_C910_HT_M2_EN_V03 test-keys
I do have a backup made with (I think it was) CWM.
Phone is rooted, if that helps anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, because this is my only phone.
I am having problems with my phone because when i boot my phone it turns on normally, but then resets for no reason. it only happens when the SIM card is inserted, but if i enable airplane mode or remove the sim card (turn on with airplane mode turned off) then it runs just fine.
i read somewhere that it might be a baseband problem but since i have hboot 1.53 version S-on i cant update a new one.
any help would be appreciated. thanks
Hello I found a Sprint galaxy s4 Model SPH-L720 and I waited a 2 weeks to see if the owner would call to retrieve his/her phone . So its been a 2 weeks and the person didnt so i think its ok to use it with a clear conscious. The thing is when the owners sim card was in the phone it was working fine but after a while the sim card stopped working I imagined the owner canceled the sim card. The issue I am having now is when I put my t-mobile sim card in the phone or turn on the phone without a sim it goes straight into recovery mode .. It also refuses to go into download mode . I tried the method of holding down on the power button for 5 minutes and then turn it on again and surprisingly the phone boots up normally but you can still see the recovery mode screen in the background even though the phone is on the home screen.. I dont know what to do .... I put a old Verizon sim card in it and it does boot instead of going into recovery mode but still you can see the recovery mode in the background of the home screen. Any help will be welcomed!!
Hey can someone help me with my phone device? I am unable to access service mode for phone keypad and I also can't get into recovery mode since andoid 12 update.
Hello everybody,
I was trying to remove screen lock pin from my Xiaomi Mi 10, from the scren lock settings menu, the phone asked for the current pin and, after entering it (correctly I assume), the phone gave an error and shut down.
Since the next reboot I've still found the lock screen asking for the pin but no longer accepting the last one.
What happened? How can I fix? I did not change the pin, I was on the screen lock removal menu.
I have unbacked-up data that I absolutely need to recover, the phone comes with stock ROM, it doesn't have usb debugging mode active, bootloader is still locked.
I tried turning the phone on in safe mode but it still asks for the pin, I tried removing the SIM card too.
The phone is linked with my google account but (maybe for a bug?) android device manager can't connect to my phone until it is unlocked (last time seen is before the lock screen problem).
There is no Xiaomi account linked to my phone then I can't find it using Mi Cloud.
I'm able to access to recovery mode or fastboot. I also downloaded Mi Phone Assistant that is able to recognise my phone in download mode but the disclaimer says that updating the phone may result in data loss.
Is there any software I can use to reset the pin code without losing my data?
Thank you!
