[Request] Latest MM prerooted flashable zip - Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

Hello.I would like to try the latest Marshmallow rom.As i am on latest LP..Can i flash the rom with same recovery?(nut's dual recovery) and later return to my restored LP rom with again the same recovery?
Thanks.

anyone?at least can someone tell me which version of supersu can i put inside prf creator?

hey there
Make a backup of your LP ROM.
In the first post you can find a prerooted MM ROM for the SGP611 (WiFi Version), i just flashed it and it worked.
Here
Also you can restore your /data from your Backup in recovery after flashing the ROM, so you don't have to set up everything again (you can also use TitaniumBackup).
The only thing you have to do is reinstalling the xposed framework if you were using it.
And you're done.
I don't know if you can switch back to LP, since the MM Rom flashed new Firmware. Haven't tried it yet.
Also i use TWRP as recovery and i would suggest you that too.

thanks.is there any method for rooting with supersu as i trust it more? Also the rom from this thread is the latest Marshmallow? Also with restore i mean if i for some reason dont like Marshmallow..Will i be able to restore my previous Lollipop backup from twrp?

Root on Lollipop custom ROMs?

Hi,
I've been fiddling around with Lollipop for the Z2 device today and I've got a question.
Are 5.1.1 based custom ROMs root-possible? I've first managed to make a stock pre-rooted 5.1.1 .ftf and everything was fine, both root and recovery, but my phone was overheating like crazy on it so I decided to try a custom ROM, Paranoid Android to be exact. I got the latest stable from their site and almost successfully installed it using the TWRP. Almost, because I forgot to re-flash the recovery. Then it turned out I can't root it and couldn't find a way to do so. I've since gone back to 4.4.2 using Flashtool, rooted it and installed the XZDualRecovery.
So, my question(s) is/are, what did I do wrong? Would flashing the flashable XZDualRecovery after the custom ROM and gapps sufficied? Or maybe flashing the SuperSU package? Or maybe, is it impossible to have a rooted custom ROM on 5.1.1? And if isn't, I'd be really grateful if someone supplied me with a hint or something, because I don't want to go through all the trouble only to downgrade again.
I'm using this for recovery : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785598
And used this guide for the prerooted .ftf, though I guess it's not related at all to my questions, except the SuperSU package I'm thinking of using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/4-4-4-creating-rooted-update-package-t2933155
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: OK, I've tried my own advice and flashed SuperSU and flashable XZDualRecovery after flashing the custom ROM and Gapps. Now the phone is rooted, but the custom recovery doesn't stick. I tried installing again using the installer version, which soft rebooted into the custom recovery, but after the manual boot the recovery was gone and the garbled screens were back.
My question has changed then, what is the way to having a custom recovery on a custom ROM on lollipop 5.1.1?
EDIT2: Nvm fixed it... , I went to NUT's website and made recovery using his kernel creator.
Sorry for wasting space then and I hope my post helps someone eventually.
You can flash superSU via recovery on any rom
Worst that can happen is it bootloops.

Switching between recoveries help

Hello,
I want to switch from CWM to TWRP.
The problem is, that when I flashed CWM, my android was 4.1.2 version, and so was the recovery.
I've already flashed newer rom than 4.1.2, and now I want to switch to TWRP.
My concern is: Now that I downloaded the latest TWRP and I use Nandroid, it prompts me that the TWRP .img file is built for 4.1.2 android, so can I still flash the TWRP although I have higher version than 4.1.2?
*Also, is Nandroid a working way to switch between recoveries? I've never done that before, and I just came across a thread that suggests using Nandroid to flash new reocvery over the existing one.
Thanks!
TWRP or CWM Recoveries will work in all android versions. Just download twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar flash it via odin. Here is the link - https://dl.twrp.me/i9300/

TWRP requires rom reinstall?

Hello. I want to install TWRP because it will provide me possibility to install some .zip modifications on my Xperia V (running CM12). But I don't know whether after installing TWRP I will have to install ROM again, or previous ROM will be still working?
Greetings,
Feliks
Changing the recovery won't affect your rom.

Help with backup

Installing Stock ROM and Recovery.

Hi.I just saw that it is possible to install stock ROM via custom recovery, just by editing it.
Here is the video I saw: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqOE5qtFKDk.
Basically,I want to try this on my Huawei Y6 SCL-L01,which now it is running CM 12.1 with TWRP 3.0.2 and SuperSU(forgot the version).
My questions are:
1.Will it work?
2.Will it reinstall stock recovery, unroot and relock bootloader?
3.Will it work fine after installing stock rom?(when I restored nandroid with TWRP it wouldn't recognise my SIM Card.)
Any advices?I really want to get back to stock.
EDIT: Here is the download for Stock ROM : http://consumer.huawei.com/nl-en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=77268
