I decided to write this simple app because when I moved all my pictures from the old Lumia 900 to new 920, I found a few (very rare, actually!) pictures with "red eyes", and full absence of the working apps on the Store! (there are few apps pretended to remove red eyes but all of 'em are not working, at least on my pictures!)
This app is working 100%, try yourself! If something not correct or app can't fix the issue, please let me know here and I'll fix it ASAP!
Red eye removal procedure is easy:
● choose photo to edit;
● adjust yellow circle around the eye by drag & pinch gestures;
● press 'apply' button;
● repeat for the second eye;
● press 'save' button.
You may adjust effect intensity by slider.
Photos will be saved to 'Saved Pictures' or 'Camera Roll' albums, originals will remain unchanged (because of WP8 API limitations).
For the limited period of time application will remain free, so hurry up, share 'Fix red eye' app with friends!
May be, in future (if I found time for that) I'll add algorithm to automatically detect red eyes on the picture (but this one isn't simple!) and will ship $1.33 "plus" version.
Thanks a lot for this app.
Should be apply more darker color rather than green. Nice app indeed
Wherу did you found a "green" color?! There is no "green color" applied; just red pixels values calculated as an average of blue and green: r = (b + g) / 2
Depending of the original picture (and the real eyes color), the resulting eyes may look gray, brown, greenish or with some blue tones.
BTW, the new version with additional slider (to change eye color tone) is ready. Will be published as a paid app ($1.33) a couple of weeks later.
P.S. AREMA, could you please:
- open corrected picture on the desktop and check for "green" color?
- send that picture to me (and tell me what is the correct eye color - I'll do some experiments...)
Thanks!
"Fix red eye" received update to version 1.1. Added WP7.5 support and eye color tint. Enjoy!
No longer free FYI

[Workaround] Bring S-View back (xposed, dashclock)

First of all, video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9axQHQ8ZXLU
Solution is not from android programmer, rather geek
Hi there... so, i was pretty dissapointed with lack of S-View functionality on CM13, S4 Mini. It was great feature, that was doing really good job with magnetic cover.
If you tried to do something with it, you probably experienced some problems with magnetic sensor (or you were smarter than me). It prevented to turn on screen with power button on any custom lockscreen from market, that was better than cm's stock one. In terms of 'better' i have in mind a lockscreen... that has f*** clock in right spot for case's window I was trying to bring it back with various results, but finally i achieved (i think) the best possible solution, turning lockscreen into S-View screen.

}
What it does right: showing time and basic info about battery, calls, msgs, next alarm, notifications (from gmail, fb messeger - that part is actually very customizable).
What it doesn't do at all: doesn't let you pick up calls, turn off your alarm via window and do any stuff that requiers touching via window. Magnetic sensor basicaly turns off that feature when case is closed. Showing info about playing track is not worth activating (because of space).
So, we need xposed installed and then download module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ssrdroide.lockscreenwidgets
And the widget we are gonna use is dashclock: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock (or you can use more advanced alternative: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kk.widget)
Step 1. First thing you wanna do is to configure widget the way you want - download some extensions for it (like battery info). I highly recommend to use DashNotifer to get notifications from custom apps like fb messenger (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.umang.dashnotifier It's already there in KK Widgets). Test it on your homescreen for now and find configuration that suits you.
Step 2. will be add widget to lockscreen via xposed module. This configuration (http://i.imgur.com/iiJMK7w.png) will keep your widget in case's window, when owner info will be out of it on same time. There is also something to mention - if you will not turn off notifications on lockscreen they will move your widget little higher (depending on number of notifications).
So... 1. If you wanna keep your notifications on lockscreen, set container 'y' translation to something around -150. Widget will stay in window regardless number of notifications.
2. If you wanna remove notifications for that cause, set container 'y' translation to -175. Widget will be in perfect spot for the whole time.
That works for standard DPI.
And that's it. It works perfectly with magnetic sensor.
For better effect you can change your wallpaper to black (worth it). That's however will change when you will listen to music, you can turn this option off or use this xposed module to paint it black for good: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.generalbrus.brightlockscreen
Another thing is alarm. It happens that Timely has clock in perfect spot when activated and can be controlled with physical buttons
I'm super happy with result. It's not exactly what you could achieve with real S-View, but it does good job
If you have better solutions share it in thread!

Thank you for the great looking watchface! I have had an issue with a few of the faces ive tried so I'm wondering if its something I am doing wrong or if this is a bug.
The [/clock/date] complication defaults to December 31, and if I Choose [/clock/time and date] it defaults to 6:00 pm Dec 31.
I look to the date on my watch fairly regularly, and I would miss it too much to use this watchface.
Its the 12th of February today
Thank you for this application,
I made a donation to fully use the features but when we change the dial or that we restart, the application "forget" that I bought and I must redo the manipluation (without paying) ,
moreover I have the same "bug" (I do not know) that Nitsua036 with the icon of the battery.
Otherwise the design is great, nice job
Great watchface! I even paid for premium. I have only one problem, date is locked on January 1. I hope you have time to fix it soon.
Does it support square watches?

[APP][KLWP] Notch Battery Bar using KLWP

UPDATE:
Created APK using KAPK Kustom Skin Pack Maker (just the notch and empty WP changeable from Globals) so you can copy and paste to your current setup
APK Link: Dropbox | Google Drive
---
For those who had read @kumarsid7 thread for [APP][Notch Battery Bar - Live Wallpaper, here is how to do it in KLWP
Create Overlap Group (call it Notch layer) with Position: Top --> Y Offset: -60
Inside "Notch layer" create 225x120 (with 45-50 corner) Shape --> Rectangle with FX -> Mask -> Clip Next Module
Inside "Notch layer" create 225x120 Progress (Battery) with programmable #FgColor and transparent BgColor
Here is my code simple FgColor:
Code:
$if(bi(charging)=1,"#ff0000ff",bi(level) >= 75, "#ff00ff00", bi(level) >= 25, "#ffffff00", "#ffff0000")$
Charging - Blue
Battery >= 75% - Green
Battery between 25 and 75% - Yellow
Battery < 25% - Red
If you want something more fancy, you could add the following formula for BgColor:
Code:
$if(bi(charging)=0,"#000000ff",bi(level) >= 75, "#ff00ff00", bi(level) >= 25, "#ffffff00", "#ffff0000")$
When charging, it would show the current level and their respective color towards the end of the bar.

This is great. Thanks it worked perfectly.
Interesting. I was wondering if there is any way we can do it "centred" (as in starting from the sides and emptying towards the center), as I'm already rocking a centred battery bar and to have the notch to be part of that battery bar would be pretty awesome.
Of course I have to calibrate the notchbar to start measuring (getting shorter?) from wherever the battery bar cuts off though (around 30% probably) as well for full effect, but eyyy it's KLWP after all... there'll probably be a way.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I don't think there's an easy way, but there is a way to make it manually:
Create 2 different rectangles
Make them back to back
rotate one of them 180 degrees
You can then add more rectangles in the middle to make it more flushed, or overlap them, whichever you prefer. Some math may be required.

Hints, Tips and Tricks

Haven't come across a good Hints/Tips/Tricks thread for this phone, so figured I'd start something up. Feel free to add anything!
Tired of white notifications when using Dark Mode?
Install "Power Shade" from the Playstore to open up customization options for your notification window, and better yet, set the background colour of notification windows to anything you like!
It also ads the option for a little bar that lets you "swipe down for notifications" rather than using LG's option for a button in the tray.
Link ---> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.pns&hl=en_US
Unfortunately Power Shade removes the option in the notification to change your audio source (BT, phone speakers, etc.)
I simple fix is an app called "Smart Audio Switch" that allows a permanent notification that brings back functionality.
Link ---> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codococo.smartaudiorouter&hl=en_US
Want to use "Wide Mode" and use both screens for any app?
Most of you already know about this, but the app called "G8X Wide Mode" allows you to use any app across both screens.
Link ---> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.refy.android.g8x.widemode&hl=en_US
Want to use the LG Game Pad for games that only play in portrait?
One of the only games I play on my phone is called "Vista Golf" which is just a little mini putt game, but with gorgeous yet simple graphics, and an endless number of randomly generated courses.
I was excited to play the game with the game pad, however the game pad really only works in landscape, and Vista Golf plays in portrait.
I use an app called "Control Screen Orientation" which you can use to force apps into landscape.
Link ---> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ahapps.controlthescreenorientation&hl=en_US
This enabled me to use the LG Game Pad with the game, and setup a custom controller and works great.
Hate the old "Lollipop" Rolodex style task switcher?
For the life of me I have no idea why LG implemented the old rolodex style task switcher, seems so out dated.
Fortunately there is a simple fix.
If you go to Settings>Display>Home Touch Buttons and change from "Buttons Only" to "Gesture and Buttons", it completely changes the style of the task switcher.
You still get a back and a home button, and a simple swipe up from anywhere on the nav button pane will bring up a proper task switching menu.
You can go from this:
