You're in the wrong forum - this is for Android Wear, which is for smart watches. Try focusing on a specific model and posting in the appropriate forum, or maybe post in somewhere like the Android General forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general).

[Q] LG Axis AS740 and ROM Development

First, I would like to start this post off by stating that YES I am very new to Android development, please don't flame me for this, as everyone was once a beginner. Second, I have only made one post thus far, so I am trying to abide by the forum rules, I'm hoping that I have chosen the correct section for this thread. I was going to use the development section, but noticed that it was mainly used for posting ROM's, and I didn't want to bloat up the guru's development posts with a commonly 'n00b' post (LoL).
I doubt I need to ask the question, "Where is all the development for the LG Axis AS740?", as I'm sure we all know how crappy of a phone this is, however, I would like to know if there is any current paths I may take towards ROM Development for this particular device? To be more precise, if anyone could point me to any development resources for this phone, it would be very appreciated. I have already installed JAVA JDK, and the Android SDK, so I'm on my way to learning program dev for my device. If I need any help with app development, I know I'm in the right place, as I have a immense respect for you guys here on the XDA forums because of the immense amount of information everyone has worked so hard on, and provided to the users of this forum.
I did notice the post "LG Axis Rom", I browsed it hoping to find my answer there, but no one has responded to the author. I for one do not wish for a senior member, or veteran to magically provide me with their hard work by asking for someone to develop a working ROM for me; as I have seen some poster's do. I am asking that someone be gracious enough to provide me with the information to help me onto the proper path, so that I may have a proper starting point. I have read over a few development sections, but alas, I know how development for one device can be vastly different for another.
Thanks go out to all whom may respond to this thread, and many thanks for your time, and any information you may provide.

[Q] Crash Report Analysis?

Hello,
I have developed a few apps now and felt that one of the painful parts of Android development were crashes that happen to my users in the wild. Its tough to track down the crashes people complain about in reviews, especially since we have no way to contact them directly.
Fellow developers, do you think it would be helpful to have a tool that could collect, organize, and help you fix these crashes? I would really like to gather some feedback before I go too far into development of this service, maybe its a problem thats already solved?
Please take a few minutes to fill out a survey: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFh1aXBKZmZ5NmVLM0dRWFdsdVZGMmc6MQ
If I posted this to the wrong section please tell me so, and I will remove the post.

[Q] Best android phone for new developers?

Hey, Im pretty new to this forum so please be gentle!
I have made a search on the forum a few times, and had a look if I could see this specific questions posted anywhere else, and I couldnt. If anyone does see this, please feel free to link me and I will read all the posts.
I did read through the forum discussion of Galaxy S2 V Galaxy Nexus, but I just had a particular question.
I want a new Android phone, and I like the look of both of these (slightly prefere the GS2, as it has expandable storage).
Basically, I am a student studying Software Engineering and we are working on Java. I want to be more employable and teach myself more, and I enjoy programming so...
I basically want the best phone for someone who wants to develop android apps, and just wondered what everyones suggestion here would be.
If there are different phones to the ones I have suggestion, please tell me.
Thanks in advanced for all your help!
Dan
Easy. Three words. Samsung Galaxy Nexus! It IS a developer phone, and it also has a large dev community already. I can promise you it will not be a bad decision.

Thanks for the answer!
What exactly do you mean by a developer phone? Because its stock android?
this phone is maintained by google. this is why is a dev phone ;-)
Dev 1 should be the best for begginers, GNexus should be best for whole devs. But because of density and ICS-GB-FY uncompability, you should get more than 1 phone

Id love to, but I can only afford one. Galaxy S 2 is easily in budget and is 32gig, where as the Nexus isnt and is only 16gig But I imagine most people would agree its better for devs...
Edit: Dev 1 says its been replaces bu the Nexus series...so guess that answers my question
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

CSR Racing for Andriod

Any news if this game is coming for andriod ?
???
It seems no one have an Idea about this game?
Instead of spamming an entirely irrelevant forum with your question, ask the developer.
Now this simple question is spaming the forum ? The devs don't read the posts? And I don't think that your the one that tells me if I am spamming or not , you could simply tell me that I won't find the answer here. I dont know why some people have such an attitude its a Q & A forum ?? Duh
You really want to go down that route?
This is indeed a Q&A forum. However, it is one for the I9100. One of many Android devices.
You asked a question about an iDevice developer. Judging by your last post you also seem to think iDevice developers who don't appear to even develop for Android not only read Android forums, but specifically the Q&A forum for the I9100. In addition to reading it, they're going to announce the availability of upcoming Android ports here too.
Yeah, that's likely.

[Q] Rom's and the confusion.

Ok i just have a simple question i consider my self a Advanced User knowing C+ give's me the edge.. My question is Why are there Diffterent Rom's for Different Devices posted in the G tablet Forum. They belong in the Android General section am i wrong? Never flashed a wrong Rom in my life dont plan to. But with the confusion i could easily see a New user making the Sad mistake and have a brick on there hands. I know most of Us can flash and unbrick Most Mistake's., What is the Malta? and other devices i know we share hardware so do several deivces but they all dont share one forum.. Its just confusing I impose Dev's Are more clear about what can and cant be flashed and to what devices.. Keeps Dev's From getting super blasted by messages and someones heart ache or time. or impose a new forum for Non Veiwsonic Devices. If i posted in the wrong forum please feel free to move it but i read the rule this should be correct
