I am opening this thread to allow everyone to have access to the best ZTE Locker daily collection wallpapers. This is particularly important if like me you forgot to save a favorite wallpaper - they together removed the following day.
To save a wallpaper you just tap on the heart symbol and then move it to the MFVKeyguard folder by saving it as a favorite.
I have attached some of my favorites.

One picture I missed is a picture of the palace from the wallpaper below but from a different perspective. I would appreciate if you could post it!

Very nice selection! :good:
Hey, I'm sorry if this might be a bit off-topic but since this thread is about ZTE Locker it's probably the best opportunity I'll have to bring this up. (without cluttering up the forum with a new thread)
tl;dr - I suggest some MiFavor UI improvements
So, if you use ZTE Locker that's great and all, but all pics are different.
And in cases such as the one I have attached, the clock is not clearly visible, nor are the icons at the bottom.
And with your launcher, it samples your set wallpaper for a hue and alters the MiFavor QuickSettings background based upon that. But, this can lead to some... questionable results. For example, if I were to set my wallpaper to something that is primarily yellow, ZTE is put in a dilemma.
White on bright yellow isn't really readable, so they'd have to use a darker shade. But have you ever seen dark yellow?
It's one nasty ass color. (look up #888800)
And I know different people have different color tastes, but there's still certain colors and combinations that are considered unfavorable. Yay for color theory!
So, with yellow they'd probably be best off using black text and icons.
But a color like purple is usually thought of as a deep color (though lavender is nice too) so they can stick with the white icons and text.
Ultimately, it's probably best to give the user to decide whether to use the dynamic view or to set their own color manually.
I just feel like ZTE is very new to the UI scene. But, I'm not a fan of ditching MiFavor for completely stock Android. I think ZTE has something to bring to the table. They just need to work on their color sampling and maybe make some UI adjustments based on the user's preferences.
Anyhow, that's my 2 cents
Definitely one of my favorites!
Definitely kept me smiling for the rest of the day

i just found 3 new wallpapers, thank you
I have about 70 of them on my phone
Also, I did a reverse image search on one and found they steal them from other sites.
It seemed like a handful were on a photo of the week thing on usatoday.com but I can't remember
Can anyone upload a compressed (doesn't compress much I know) archive of the ZTE wallpapers? Ever since I unlocked my bootloader it no longer loads for me, it just says weak signal no matter what. I don't know if it's a coincidence and there's something wrong with their server or if it won't allow modified systems to connect.
Here's a few more from yesterday

Sorry, that's disgusting at tablet size
I've been wondering how this works out on NC. I'd like to see videos of it sometime.

Correction - at any size.
Metro UI is horrible, and hope it dies sooner rather than later...
Personally, I kind of like how boxy and simple it is, but hey, no accounting for taste. I'm mostly concerned about the resolution and how it functions in NC, specifically. Thanks for the heads-up, Hüsker Pat.

I tried it as well - it is just a waste of the huge screen real estate.
Putting some interesting widgets and and a bunch of icons (shortcuts) is more useful than this...
But I can see the appeal - on phone screens.
But then again, some like it simple.

I have been using this for a few weeks now. It is a really neat and tidy launcher. It is also really easy to download pictures, resize and load them onto the launcher - all within the tablet. Makes it look good and gives access to favorite programs.
I have attached a screenshots which show use of photos for app launching. (edit Colours came out with a funny blue tinge :/)

Yeah, lets hope that everything that we don't personally like DIES! Who cares that others like it? My opinion is all that is important.
Diversity is what makes life interesting & those who embrace new or different paths or even encourage diverse & differing interests are the catalyst for invention & creativity. IMO
Cheers,

Have you done the book tile by yourself or do you have a good download link for tiles.
I like this launcher a lot, it´s so easy to use and customize.
Thought it would be cool if we shared our favorite CM12 Themes, please post links to Google Play (if applicable) or the XDA Thread. And of course screen shots!
Here's my top 3:
1) Flux: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flux.theme.flux
2) Mianogen: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tung91.mianogen
3) Saturn: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siddheshpatil.blackhand.saturncm12
Flux is gorgeous but there are small bugs because of the dark backgrounds (ex: calculator). Mianogen has been one of my favorite themes for over a year now, very minimalistic but the slight changes made to Material Design are very nice. Saturn is a new one I've been using, relatively basic blue but I enjoy it.

This theme is the only reason I am interested in loading the CM12 ROM. Being a 1st time ROM user, though, I'm very hesitant to go beyond simply rooting my phone and using G3Tweaksbox.
Beautiful theme...the same developer has similar ones for CM11, too, and they're equally sweet.

How do you take so high quality screenshots like in the post?
Common Android Design Mistakes
You might just be getting started with your wireframe or you could be putting the finishing touches on your design and something just doesn't look right. It's not looking how you imagined it in your head. You had this colorful and elegant UI in mind but then after putting everything together it looks like dumpster garbage. If this sounds familiar then you could be making one of these common design mistakes. Let's have a look.
Color Scheme
Take a look at these two images. The one on the left looks perfect while the one on the right makes me want to stick my face in a blender. But why do they look so different when the colors used are so similar? Well those who understand color theory are rolling their eyes right now thinking "That's easy." but not all of us are good at this sort of thing. That's ok, you don't have to be.

}
The reason the one on the left looks so much better than the one on the right is because it is using the color guidelines given to us by Google. The Material design color palette is made so that any of the colors from their selection will look good together.
This problem has an easy fix. Checkout the material design color palette here. You can download the color swatch and use it in AI or PS. Use only colors selected from the one on the palette.
Check out this video which explains why these colors work so well when designing for Android.
Typography
Once again we see the sample on the left looks beautiful and the sample on the right makes me want to get a divorce... and I love my wife a lot! The one on the left is using the Roboto typeface that is modified specifically for Android. The right image is using Times New Roman which is designed for print and not digital interfaces.
You don't have to use Roboto but if you're having a hard time making everything look right, then it's a good place to start. Download the Roboto font here.
The other part that people tend to get wrong is the positioning, saturation and size of their font. Believe it or not these things matter a lot! Luckily for us, just like with color theory, we don't need to be experts. It's all explained step by step on the Google design website.
Google Design Typography
I would read through that article and then give this video a quick watch.
Icons
The other thing that might be making your design look like a bad scrapbook project is the icons. Your first instinct might be to look up an icon set, find one that looks pretty, implement it into your design and there ya have it! All done! Nope.
You see, half the time the user doesn't care that your icon is 3D and sparkles when you press it. Icons should blend in with your UI, not stick out like a sore thumb. Take a look at this image.
Some people would choose the icon on the right because they think it's more interesting. Then the app their putting together will look stupid and nobody will download it. Not even their mom.
Take a look at this free icon set from Google.
You don't have to use this one but it's a great design, it's free, it has every icon you would need and... actually I changed my mind. You do have to use this one. At least until your app is nice and polished. Then you can go back and tweak some things to add some personality.
Google System Icons
These are some of the easiest design aspects to get wrong. Follow the guides that have been linked here and stick to them. You'll have all your problems sorted out in no time.
I'm have nearly finished this new screenclock but as I'm not going to be using it I need to know if there will be enough people interested in using it.
As with most of my designs I there is a lot of moving and resizing of certain items so I can only test on a 800x480 unit. I there are people wanting it who have a 1024x600 then I really do need a RELIABLE tester or 2. Previous testers have been shall we say slow in sending feedback and screenshots (I can only make it work for 1024x600 by looking at screenshots and then making adjustments).
Anyway, I have added a poll so that I can get an idea what users will be wanting to use it if any.

it looke really good
I would like to be tester but can only put in the unit only 2 times a day
Well, I don't care for that clock at all, but I'd be happy to help you in the testing on a 1024x600.
One thing I would like (don't even know if it is possible) is a sweep second hand instead of one that moves every second.
Not sure if this is something that is even possible but I would love to see a heading function instead of speed (mph/kph). I've got a speedo in front of me that I ignore already and Ive always wanted a display that shows my heading (N, Nw, S, Se).
Liking that digital font. Good job.
If you don't mind me asking, how are you using a different font? Are you using individual image files for characters?
The reason being, I drive an E46 BMW, and I painstakingly re-drew the numbers used on the other displays in the car in .png format (in fact I went a stage further and did the whole alphabet) in the hope I could build my own Screenclock. which matches the rest of the dashboard displays. If you're using individual png's, would you mind sharing how you did it?

Believe me I tried every way I could think of including re-building the screenclock from scratch including a custom font but just could never seem to get it working.
In the end I cheated, I used a digital font and renamed it to Roboto-Itallic and copied it to the system/font folder. Obviously this will change anything in the firmware that uses that font but I have been using the digital font for a few weeks now and have only noticed a couple of things changed to the new digital font, overall it really doesn't make a huge impact.

Outside of rooting, or the Smart World app, where can we find compatable fonts, for the V40.?
I feel no need to root but Smart World's content appears to be aimed at teenage girls. I'm wanting something with a more Gothic feel.
I'd like the phone even more if I had full control over it (i.e. TWRP flashable). Well it's not my phone, but I administer my mother's, which as an admin would be very helpful. It's a sh*tty trend that more & more OEMs have these anti-consumer polices. I wish the EU would step in and force OEMs to make the handout of unlock codes to consumers mandatory if said consumer requests.
