For now our devs are not frequently updating their roms, which is not necessarily a bad thing because what is important is that they are stable, so you could try whichever you like or you can stay on the latest build of CM13 while waiting for lineage from our devs.

stay with cm there are no bugs and performance is good

Resurrection remix is my top choice

For me, cm13 based RR is best for now. I have also tried lineage os 14.1, aicp 12.1, lineage os based RR but now back to cm13 RR.

Most stable Nougat ROM for daily usage?

I'm wondering which one should I choose. REsurrection remix or official CM14.1? Performance, bartery and stability is what matters to me.
I think official cm14.1 is most stable ROM ,as nightly updates are good for solving bugs ,RR would have been best but maintainer of that ROM mostly busy ,and does not updates ROM regularly.or you can give the try to nightly RR which also good,if you want the taste of customisation.

Nightly RR? Which one are you talking about?

Best all around ROM for Moto E 2015 4G LTE (surnia) XT1524

Hello guys, as you may already know, the latest official/stock Android version for Motorola Moto E 2015 4G LTE (surnia) is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. My model is XT1524. I'm tempted to install the latest official nightly CyanogenMod ROM which is "cm-13.0-20161225-NIGHTLY-i9305.zip". I heard that CyanogenMod drains the battery quickly than the stock ROM. Knowing that CyanogenMod switched his name to Lineage OS, I think I'll wait until Lineage OS makes the first build. Until Lineage OS creates a ROM for my device I want to try other ROM's. Which one is the most stable, has a great battery life, and is almost stock? Or should I install CyanogenMod already? Also do you guys recommend changing my kernel? If yes, which one?
Thanks.

Stable, battery life and almost stock? Try Slim7 with stock kernel or squids r19.
Rom: https://slimroms.org/#/device/surnia
Kernel (of course optional): https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...-kernel-moto-e-lte-2015-t3072209/post70341957

The CM13 Latest Snapshot.
I've tried Lineage, CypherOS, and AOSP Extended. They're less stable and buggier, I ended up going back to CM13. Anyways AFAIK the current Android 7 ROMs still lack CMTE for theming as well.

Go ahead and install that ROM. I can help with your battery life. My SoT with OC easily gets 3 hours. I've pushed it to about 4 hours when using efficiency profiles I made in Kernel Auduiter (might be spelled wrong). Also using HEBF and ForceDoze.
RR has a better battery life than LOS. Someone knows about slim?
I´ve tested Stock 6.0, RR 7.1.1, AOSCP 7.1.1 and LOS 7.1.1, and can tell us that LOS give me the best battery usage, almost 6 hours of screen so far, and it´s smooth and no fails....
Sorry for the bump but I want to know what you guys are using right now as daily driver? I flashed latest RR 7.1.1 but while it's stable, i found it to be lacking polish (some settings are missing, others don't work as expected) and that's obvious because it's a WIP and I thank devs for their hard work, but I want to settle in MM for the moment. I love CM13 latest snapshot but was wondering what else I can try...

I´ve been usng LineageOs since the first build and it works very smooth and give me 6 screen hours in 2 days of use without charging it.

resurrection remix or lineage OS?

Hey guys,
I would like to install one of those ROMs and don't want to flash any other ROM for a few months (2-3), which one would be better RR or LOS?
RN4 SD

Eh??
I'd rather suggest you to try both of em' for a few days and choose which one suits you & stick with that.
If you want customizations then go For RR, otherwise go for LOS.
But, however Lineage is more stable than RR.
I am straying from the actual question.
To be honest , right now AICP is best CROM out there for Redmi Note 4 with Customization.
Lineage OS doesn't have customization(extra features).

Nougat Rom

Every user will say something different.. How do you choose? You need to try more roms to see which is best for you. From what i`ve flashed until now, with good battery life is Nitrogen Os, Aosip, Aosp Extended, Lineage os.. Depends on your needs, if you want customizations, oms support, etc..
You can try flashing a custom kernel like franco, radon or elemental x if stock kernel doesn`t give you good battery life, or use apps like naptime by franco!

I`ve tried until now nitrogen, aicp, lineage, aosp extended, lineage by umang and now i`m on Aosip 5.9 and I will stay on this for some time because it`s most stable by those tested by me, is based on pure caf (others mentioned are based on lineage or aosp).
In my opinion Aosip have best signal (no fluctuations like in lineage or aosp based roms), a lot of customizations, full substratum support.. I haven`t got any crash until now, everything`s working very good.
I use franco kernel with Aosip and seems to be a good combination
Currently on los may32017 build with radon kernel v4.6. Also addon magisk root and viper4android+hifi dac mod+substratum legacy and all seems stable to me. Also have goodix fp and works like how in miui.

Wanna know best Rom for customizing (Mido)

I have been using Resurrection Remix 6.2 8.1.0 Oreo Redmi Note 4 . Its a great Rom with awesome Customization option and many are unique customizing options.
I want to switch to Android Pie Rom because Its been a long time since pie come out but no Resurrection Remix Pie Rom.
I know its not easy to build a Rom especially with a lot of features but I want to switch.
So, Anyone who used Resurrection Remix and switch to another Rom with great customization as RR. Thanks in advance
You can try AEX (Aosp Extended)...
