resurrection remix or lineage OS? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
I would like to install one of those ROMs and don't want to flash any other ROM for a few months (2-3), which one would be better RR or LOS?
RN4 SD

Eh??
I'd rather suggest you to try both of em' for a few days and choose which one suits you & stick with that.
If you want customizations then go For RR, otherwise go for LOS.

But, however Lineage is more stable than RR.

I am straying from the actual question.
To be honest , right now AICP is best CROM out there for Redmi Note 4 with Customization.
Lineage OS doesn't have customization(extra features).

differences between official and unofficial RR roms (kenzo)?

Hi,
In fact, what's the difference between official and unofficial Resurrection Remix roms for kenzo? Which is the most stable currently?
Besides that, do I need to flash developer miui rom before trying to unlock bootloader/install twrp/install RR? Currently I'm with the Chinese seller's custom rom ("shop" rom).
Thank you for your patience.
U can try to unlock bootloader on any ROM. If u succeeded, well and good , if u don't try others miui ROMs.
The difference between official and unofficial roms is the source they use, u can go to respective threads to see which is having less bugs. Resurrection remix was stable for me, the unofficial one. Don't know about official.
Cm13 is stable too except -2% battery bug. Rest choose as per your wish

I am using latest official Resurrection Remix and it's very smooth and stable... I won't change to anything else... Give official a try!!!

Move away from CM13

could someone help me with deciding what rom to use now that cyanogenmod is dead
Decision is yours to take, there are too many options..

For now our devs are not frequently updating their roms, which is not necessarily a bad thing because what is important is that they are stable, so you could try whichever you like or you can stay on the latest build of CM13 while waiting for lineage from our devs.
stay with cm there are no bugs and performance is good
Resurrection remix is my top choice
For me, cm13 based RR is best for now. I have also tried lineage os 14.1, aicp 12.1, lineage os based RR but now back to cm13 RR.

Best ROM right now? Kenzo/kate?

Hello Guys,
I was rocking MIUI the whole time and now I want to have a different experience.
What would you say is the best rom right now in terms of efficiency and speed?
Thinking about installing Lineage for now..
Is an Oreo ROM worth it? How about the battery life?
ALSO: Can I use all this roms for my kate device? (Special Edition)
I dont know if it works in Kate but the besteht right now are AIM Rom, Mcaosp and AEX Nougat. I use AEX Nougat because it works the best for me

Wanna know best Rom for customizing (Mido)

I have been using Resurrection Remix 6.2 8.1.0 Oreo Redmi Note 4 . Its a great Rom with awesome Customization option and many are unique customizing options.
I want to switch to Android Pie Rom because Its been a long time since pie come out but no Resurrection Remix Pie Rom.
I know its not easy to build a Rom especially with a lot of features but I want to switch.
So, Anyone who used Resurrection Remix and switch to another Rom with great customization as RR. Thanks in advance
You can try AEX (Aosp Extended)...

Tested a lot off roms and bootleggers was for me the highest around 260.000. Didn't test all roms so maybe there are higher scores.
Featured packed rom is Havoc 2 pie but rom is not that stable and needs updates
Mine's at Miui 10 global stable 10.1.3.0.. with r12 franco kernel. This one's enough for both my gaming & balanced needs. Though it scores a bit lower. @ about 260k something on antutu. Because it is underclocked at 2.1ghz speed..
This one's the best for me..
Though i also tried LOS16 & NOS... BUT im still flashing back to miui global. ??? And franco kernel.. ever since r1.. ???
Latest Nitrogen OS with Franco kernel is the best of custom roms, but still has a few bugs. After I tested all (Miui & Aosp based) I'm back to Miui 9.6.25.0 for the battery
No ROMs are best. Every one of them has one or the other bug. I would have recommended stock miui, but since you have mentioned "custom", so I guess you have decided to go for a custom ROM. Hence, I would suggest you to try NOS or CAF Reloaded (AOSP based)/Miui EU or MI-Room (MIUI based).
Which kernel is best for poco f1
and which firmware versio i should install while installing pixel experience rom on my poco f1
Miui is the best.....
Miui EU + eXtreme kernel v12. The best combo for Pocophone. I was running Pixel Experience since I got the phone... But in one morning my rom was ****ed so I decided to go back to miui but not on global... I went to xiaomi eu. I let a print screen down bellow... No word needed.
