I'm using a redmi 3 pro and I'm on MIUI 7.
I only have 1 problem with the OS so far, but it's a huge one.
If the phone is idle for 3 seconds, the phone passively locks itself until I touch the screen to reactivate.
It happens on every app, every screen, and is making it impossible to use.
The status bar disappears top when the lock happens and it comes back after I touch the screen.
The video link below shows what is happening. Can any body help me solve this problem?
For all of the searching I did, it seems like I'm the only one who has encountered this problem.
I would appreciate any help on the matter. Thank you.
Edit: I cannot post links until I post some more, so is there anyway that I can show the youtube video of the phone?

Hello everyone,
The lift to wake up feature on my Redmi Note 9 pro stopped working almost a week after I had bought it. The screen doesn't wake up even when I am continuously keeping the lift to wake up setting ON . Can someone please help me with it. I cannot determine whether it is a hardware issue or a software. Thanks in advance..
A simple reboot should fix it
I tried to reboot it , but it didn't work even after that. Thanks anyway
Friends need help here..
I tried almost all ROMs available for MI pad 1 but after installing any ROM my Pad's half screen started blinking or sometimes it becomes dull..Please find attached photos.
Facing same problem in MIUI stable ROMs.
Any Solution for this??
have you solve this problem?
any solution found?
Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.
I just bought this phone used and I'm noticing a weird issue in Android
There are 3 dots near the top of the display that I can see flashing.
I've tried doing a reset to see if this works, but it doesn't.
These dots ONLY show up after Android is initialized. On the same screen during the reset process, you can't see them. I've included a couple of videos showing what I'm talking about
First video shows the phone after a factory reset
Second video shows the boot screen after a restart from Android
Third video shows it during normal app usage in Android
Fourth video shows the recovery menu to ensure Android hasn't loaded

Those are the proximity sensors.
The bad news is that you need to tell Motorola to replace your phone.
I'm not sure what the good news is here.
I have the three dots too, just purchased 5 days ago. It's just the proximity sensors. I know it's kinda annoying, but they only flash occasionally and it's not easy to see unless you're in darkness or doing something to trigger them. I'm choosing to ignore them -- seems all of the moto edge phones do this, really doesn't bother me and I can't be bothered returning the phone when the screen seems to be working OK.

3 dots
I have had a lot of issues with my phone screen but I've never seen the 3 dots
hello
The device I just received has the same problem as you. The three dots flashing on the screen should be sensors

Yes we have a common problem, but the three dots flashing on the screen are supposed to be sensors, and I wonder what kind of sensor it is
Yes those 3 dots worried me te first day I noticed them but I just tested the proximity sensor and they are under the screen so is not a issue.. but I have a question.. did you guys experienced a battery drain in stand by?
