I have a Canadian htc rooted with twrp. Also s-off to my understanding it is only compatible with sprint kernels and is running the element kernel currently with a software version number of 3.38.631.2. My question is which roms can I flash that are compatible.

Hi, I have a Evo 3D GSM with S-off running a rooted ROM, what do I need to do in order to have my phone back to factory stock? Searched, but couldn't find anything related to S-Off devices.
Thanks
Flash a stock based Rom or to go full stock run an ruu that's compatible with your phone and won't update your hboot ver.

Hi, I have a HTC One from Rogers and I want to install one of the stock original roms from the international version of the HTC One, I found this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292640
but I end up having too many files to choose from, asia, tw, europe, even rogers, tmobile, etc, which one do you guys would recomment?
What Im looking is to be able to get the updates directly from HTC once they are released OTA updates instead of always having to download custm roms or relying on them upgrading their version of roms.
Thanks.
what you want isn't possible without SuperCID and installing the actuall RUU for a WWE phone. OTA will fail on a stock rooted rom because of custom recovery etc etc etc...
flash ARHD 10 its stock like and 4.2.2:victory:
Thanks I guess I will go with a custom rom then
any rom that has OTA update so i dont have to flash all the time there is a new version?
ARHD is your best option now. hands down
i see that most of the roms for our phones are this version 1.54.401.5, and my phone is still running 1.12.502.18.
i not new to rooting or changing roms, just new to htc which is a little more in depth than samsung was. so my question is should i up date to this version or should i wait, and if i need to update where can i find that version and intructions to install.
i am rooted, unlocked and s-off right now. thanks in advance.
The version your running is the most current for the ATT Variant(has not been updated via carrier yet),The latest US WWE version out is 1.54.1540.9(4-19-2014 build date) which is US Developer Edition, The 1.54.401.5 (3-22-2014 build date) is WWE European build...Choice is yours though...theres many tutorials for rooting/flashing roms on here...pretty basic stuff....Good luck

Thanks I didn't realize that was for the European version, think I'll pass on that and stick to the carrier roms that are available.

I am going to flash the firmware on my m8 to upgrade to 4.4.4 ARHD but I am still unsure of how to identify the proper firmware zip . Could someone provide some guidance? Attached are some images from the recovery. I'm not sure what numbers I need to match with the firmware zip. And I can't find how to view what numbers are in the zip. Any advice is very much appreciated.
hboot 3.16 corresponds to firmware that deployed with 1.x software. Its what many folks call "1.x firmware" for lack of any better title, since firmware doesn't really have a "number".
If you want to update to the latest ARHD, you need "3.x firmware". Any firmware with number 3.xx.xx will allow the phone to boot normally, and with working WiFi. The numbers after the 3 are just carrier/region specific versions.
But for the AT&T network, you are probably best off flashing the 3.28.1540 firmware posted on WNC's ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-htc-one-m8/development/att-4-4-3-2-22-1540-3-debloated-sense-6-t2837365
Thanks a lot!

So even if you just want the new Firmware, you have to do everything in that thread? I'm asking because it shows installing a ROM then doing stuff with Xposed, which I assume will be undone when the ROM changes

No, you just need to perform the steps listed under "Updating firmware" numbered 1-8. And also skip the very last step (Step 8, Substep 3).
The rest is if you want to run the modified Dev Ed ROM, as you have somewhat already figured out. But honestly, if you are on AT&T's network, I would consider the ROM anyway. Many folks (including myself) get various network errors running "international" based custom ROMs; which the debloated Dev Ed ROM does not suffer from.
I bought htc one m8 from e-bay (at&t unlocked) when I was USA. That at&t apps are really annoying and I didnt get the lollipop update. I wanted to update the rom by myself and delete the at&t apps. And now I rooted + unlocked bootloader and installed android revoulation 5.0.1 lollipop rom. I can't use wifi + I cant reboot the phone (it stucks at white HTC screen). I didn't flash firmware because s-on still. So I need really simple and detailed information about what to do. Can anyone pm me about it or explain in comments?
There is not Lollipop update for AT&T yet.
And if you aren't on AT&T's network you won't get any OTAs either. AT&T is fairly unique in this regard, other versions will update regardless of what carrier you are connected to.
For most Lollipop ROMs, you will find your WiFi is broken due to wrong (old) firmware. Your options:
1) A couple Lollipop Sense ROMs (LeeDroid?) seem to work with 4.4.4 firmware. But if your firmware is older than 4.4.4, I don't think any Lollipop Sense ROMs will work.
2) Revert to a ROM version that supports your firmware. For instance, if you are still on 4.4.4 firmware, install a stock or custom 4.4.4 Sense ROM.
3) S-off and update your firmware "manually".
