App Request

Okay I am not sure if this the right place to start this thread, moderators please feel free to move it.
But more importantly the app I am looking for is a app which can control the bandwidth each app uses in the phone.
Why am I looking for this app.
I use a 1 gb 3g Internet package and I use Tango to video chat with my gf. Due to this tango sucks like 500 kbps and I run out of Internet juice very early. Now the thing is tango works fine with 50 kbps too. But how do I control how much bandwidth tango takes.
Please note I am not looking for the app to tell me or warn me of my usage but to limit it as in if my 3g gives me 5mbps I want to cap it at 1mbps.
So any one knows a app that can do this please reply.
Also I have exhausted my Google and xda search skills for 2 days looking for something like this but seem to have no luck. Hence this thread.
Thanks

Anyone?

I have spent a almost 12 hrs now looking for a app that does this and still getting nowhere. The closest I cam was a app that let's u decide which app uses 3g and which uses wifi. That is nothing regarding limiting my Internet speed.

Droidstats pro can do it. But you have to pay $$.

Thanks but Droidstats premium doesn't have any features to set the cap on bandwidth.

Vzw g2 and Sony smart watch2

I just picked one up today at best buy today to scratch the itch that I've had for a while now. Idk if many like the idea but I'll give my initial impressions.
First off pro and con
* the band it comes with. Reason being is the one I got(which surprised me since I thought it would come with the rubber one) is metal and no one could get the links out. I am the definition of a skinny person. I had to buy the tool which arrives tomorrow.
Pros
* I like the screen size and being touch. (I was debating between the pebble also) looks good enough to satisfy.
* the notifications work better than I thought. The vibration when you get a text fb or any sort of notification is nice since I rarely feel it in my pocket.
*can control the play music app through the watch so I don't have to mess with the phone wile driving
Con's
* Facebook extension if you just choose the ppl you want it to show up doesn't seam to stay logged in.
*still skeptical since I was on the fence about getting one. Maybe a few days with it I'll start to enjoy it.
If you have questions I'll try to answer them for you

So this is a smart watch that works with other phones not just Sony. Was just gonna start researching this. Love the galaxy gear but didn't want the note 3. So I got G2. Are there other manufacturers doing this.

Ehhhh I think it's more of a vanilla feel, meaning obviously no TouchWiz stuff. I'm trying to find direct xda links, but here you go for now...

Edit - Sorry for not posting the original story links. I've had a long day, I'm tired, and I posted the first ones I could find lol.

Yes this one work with all androids. I like the fact that I don't have to go to my pocket to check to see about a message. I don't always feel it when it vibrates since I don't like the sound. Its really easy to see it sun light just not in the dark with out turning on the back light

Letting y'all know I'll be returning the smart watch just the few days I've had it the watches battery got better but my phones battery dropped from 5 hours of screen on to 1-1/12 hrs. I'm not around a charger that often. I can't have it die on me that quick. I loved it just thought it would help battery life since I wouldn't be turning the screen on that often

Best phone overall I've ever owned. And the development on here is awesome. I'm like a kid in a geeky candy store.
coming from HTC and sense I have to say the gui is really nice. stock Wetherclock is ugly as hell... just change.
the camera sux when using flash other then that it's amazing best phone ever
miss not being able to fully unlock bootloader but there is actually no point in doing that when stick Rom is near perfect. just root and disable som blotware

Dont flash cm/pa only because you want to flash something. Stock is faster and easy adjustable.

Come on, faster?
Noooo. 4.4 debloated and running in art mode on this thing is ridiculous fast, and the extra free ram and fewer running processes make for much better multitasking.
I did love the stock rom, but a properly setup aosp rom will always be faster.

LG G2 and Paranoid Android 4.0 is a match made in geek heaven. I love this phone and haven't even thought of trading it (coming from a guy that has had the S4, iPhone 5, and iPhone 5s all in the past 7 months because he wasn't satisfied.)

If you have much free ram on android something is wrong. Android is based on Linux and it runs faster with the ram as full as possible.

There is no point repeating this, mate. There will always be "smarter" people who will claim that free RAM is good as if our phones were running Windows 95.
How do you like your new G2, OP?

Hey, think what you guys want. Haha
There's a reason they keep including more ram in phone's. But hey you guys know best right?
Hahahaha. K.
More free ram will always allow for more multitasking and a snappier opening of apps. If you geniuses want to run your phone's bogged down to ahead. More running processes also loads the cpu.
There's so much wrong in what you guys are saying it's not even funny.
How do you think the infamous v6 supercharger script worked?

That article was written 2 years ago and was incorrect when it was written. Do you understand that an article isn't definitive proof? You just linked me to the opinion of another because you're not intelligent enough to articulate the idea your self.

I would take Houstonn's PA 4.0 over CM. I use PA as my daily driver and I don't see any bugs. FYI, I use my G2 as a phone, meaning Emails, calls, sms, internet( for info search only), gps, lite YT and all of these work just fine for me.
Can't complain with mine....coming from L920.....very fast, running with Buckeye 2.1....mostly stock, just debloated.....LG G2 has come a long way from the LG G2x...I hated that phone mostly due to the poor battery life....and the crashes and reboots.....gave it to my son then passed on to his mom, the ex-wife, but surprisingly, she's still using it.

Considering battery issues, should we take the update?

Title sums it up; considering the strange wifi issue causing massive battery drain on devices as seen in another thread, those of us getting replacements or new devices, should we still take that out of the box update if given the option, or hold off and show results? Did anyone not update and see a difference in wifi?

Lagging Camera

VS990 rooted debloated LP. Camera takes about 5 seconds to open. 5 seconds to snap a shot. When closed the camera tool bar hangs in the second screen for a moment. Any ideas?

The best thing that you can pretty much do (that you probably should do anyways) is factory reset your device. Most bugs like this are due to a ton of apps or other things that are impacting your performance on your device.

The factory reset fixed the camera. Wondering if it had something to do with transferring pics from my 6P to the V10 via Dropbox.
