Help with bricked Tab 2.0 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Looks like I bricked my Tab 2.0. I am stuck at the CyanogenMod startup screen, but it never loads.
I have tried to put the device back into recovery mode, but when I hold down the power button and the volume down button at the same time, I only see a gray outline of a battery, and the tablet then turns off.
Any help you guys/gals can provide would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Sleep of Death or Brick?

I have a problem with my Galaxy Tab 10.1, yet can't seem to figure out where to start troubleshooting.
Having the Tab since it was released, until now, I had yet to experience any problems whatsoever. But upon turning (or trying) to turn my Tab on, all that welcomed me was a black screen. I know the various button combinations, screen rub trick, and holding the power button long enough to help boot the Tab up but none of this worked. I thought maybe my battery was dead (even though I has seen it at about 60% before the problem) and decided to plug it in.
Once plugged in, the battery charging indicator came on and looked like it was about to show the battery filling up. Instead, the screen turned off immediately one second later and then popped up again with the battery icon. It would then just go on and off. Holding the power button would result in the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1" welcome screen, but this would transition back to the battery icon, and turn off as usual.
I was able to access the two icons (box with an arrow and android; and android with download underneath) by holding power and vol. down. Clicking on the first icon with the box would just turn off the Tab and restart the battery icon. But clicking on the android that has the word download underneath takes me to a screen that I don't know what to do with.
This all happens while plugged in to the charger, and goes away immediately (turns off) if I take out the cord. I have tried to use the NVflash method but am basically stumbling in the dark because my computer doesn't recognize the Tab when I plug it in. It does say installing device when plugged in, but I cannot find it under devices.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!
P.S. My Tab (32 GB) has an unlocked bootloader, but the unlocked sign does not show up when I plug it in and and the Samsung welcome screen breifly pops up.
I am not a developer, so ultimately someone else will help you more than I, however the fact that you can get to ODIN means you will be able to save your tablet. There are some posts in the development section about using ODIN (that’s where you go after selecting the icon on the right), but you will be able to flash everything you need to in order to get back on your feet from within ODIN.

[Q]Can't boot into recovery/download menu

I've tried everything to get my unrooted WiFi Tab to boot into recovery mode. I hold down power and vol down, see "Samsung Galaxy Tab" and then...I'm expecting to see the Odin/recovery menu. Instead, the screen goes black and shows the "Samsung Galaxy Tab" logo again. And again. As long as I hold down he power/volume buttons, it does this. When I stop holding them down, it boots normally. How do I get to the recovery menu so I can finally root this thing?
Keep holding the vol button after you let off the power.
Thanks, I feel like an idiot once I figured it out. I didn't realize I had to let go of the power button once I saw the logo.
I am having the same issue. I am using a Verizon LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It is the 16GB gray model. The baseband version says i905.03 V.EL01 or SCH-I905.EL01 and it's running Android 3.2. Not sure what else you need. Here's what I've tried.
Scenario 1:
1. Powered the tablet off.
2. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons.
What happens: Nothing. It just sits at a black screen and I never see the Samsung logo. I have to let go of the volume down button, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds, let go of the power button. Then the tablet boots normally.
Scenario 2:
1. Tablet on and sitting at my home screen.
2. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons.
3. Once the Samsung Galaxy Tab logo shows up, I let go of the power button and only hold the volume down button.
What happens: The tablet boots like normal or it boots into Safe Mode.
So what am I doing wrong? I don't understand why I can't get into download(Odin) mode.
have the same issue, but i can go into recovery.
i need to ODIN to have the new CMW installed. tried a lot of things (adb reboot download.. normal 2 buttons boot.. ) and i always end up with a charging battery screen or get black screen and the tablet refuse to start again for few seconds.
anything else I can try?
thanks

never mind, looks like i was releasing the volume down too quick :/

Titan HS-7TB4-4BNDL-Fixing Android Tablet Not Booting

I havea Hipstreet Titan HS-7TB4-4BNDL with WiFi 7" Touchscreen Tablet PC
I uninstall/installed some apps from the tablet like (app installer,Sitting,System UI ,Packet installer,Etc) and the next Boot when I turned it on, it quitted booting and the screen froze with the HIP-STREET still in the center of the screen than going blank.
I had tried a lot of ways to make it boot again including hard power off (pressing the power button for more than 5 seconds), reset the device (pushing a small pin to the small hole at the side of the screen, there are 2 holes: one for microphone and the other for reset button, try to press combinations of various keys I can find on the tablet pc. They all failed to fix this
Can Somebody help me or guide me to bring back my hipstreet tablet back to the original state.
Thanking You.

Tablet hanging at android logo while booting

Hi,
My Zenithink c93 decided not to boot. It gets stuck at the android logo with three horizontal white lines above it going across the screen as soon as I turn it on. I've tried pretty much every button combination (power, back, vol up and vol down), but it didn't work. The only combo that gives a different result is power button + back, which shows the android logo with the words "Upgrading" directly beneath it, then turns off after about 2 seconds. I can't even get into the recovery menu so I'm really stuck. Also, the tablet is not rooted.
Things I've tried:
Wait at the android logo screen for 15 minutes.
Desolder the battery for 10 seconds and solder it back again.
Copy zt-update.zip to the micro-SD card and tried doing the upgrading process.
They all did not solve the problem. How do I fix this?
anyone?!!!

Stuck on boot animation.

After leaving the tablet to charge overnight, I found that it was stuck on the wave animation. Holding the power button fixed it and gave me the ability to use it again. Unplugged charger and thought tablet was ok. After a while I find that it's stuck in the animation again, so I figure a restart would do it good, after holding the power button for who knows how long I manage to restart it, but it gets stuck at the "restarting" message. After a while it falls asleep and when I wake it up, it is once again stuck in the animation. I hold power button, but this time nothing happens, so I open the micro SD thing next to the charger thing, and press the tiny red thing beside the black thing(sd card?) and it shuts down. Holding the power button to start it takes it first to the Sony text, then some more Sony text, but after that it gets stuck in the wave animation. Another thing to note is that I was using about 90% of it's storage so was thinking this is a reason.
Anyone know of a fix?
I'm open to installing a custom ROM or factory resetting it, don't really have anything important that I want to recover, just want to turn it into something usable again.
A link to one of these guides would be helpful.
When plugging it into PC via USB I cannot get it to show up in xperia Companion. It does show up in Devices I think, but I can't use it for anything.
