My moto voice will activate at my phrase, but it doesn't beep so I know it's listening. Ideas?

What happens is when I open the voice mail app and press play, then press the speakerphone icon, I hear the voice mail loud for a millisecond then it goes so low I can hardly hear it. Can someone test and see if they have the same issue?
I have the same issue with stock voice mail and google voice mail.
The speaker works fine with YouTube and Facebook videos, playing music, and even tested the voice recorder app to record and play back my voice just fine.
I have already made sure the volume is raised all the way.
I have a non-rooted Asus Zenfone 5 with recent OTA firmware. When I attempt a normal voice call or Skype call the microphone is muted i.e. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me.
Other microphone related activies such as Sound Recorder, Google voice search and Keep voice note work fine. Using a microphone headset doesn't make any difference.
I've searched through every setting imaginable and tried a few mute apps from Google Play and no luck.
Any feedback is appreciated.
I have a Moto E 2nd Gen (2015) running two sims, and have all audio settings checked (General, full volume, moto ringtone).
Still there is no sound whenever there is an incoming call. I get sound notifications for messages, in music app but NOT DURING INCOMING CALL! Any Solution?

:good: Change your ringtone and restart your phone it might work for you else do a reset.
When I talk someone on call sometime other person is not able to hear my voice
I have the Moto G Power 2020. In any navigational app that I use I can play music & hear my navigation directions just fine but once I receive a phone call I can hear the phone call over my cars Bluetooth but I can no longer hear the navigation directions. I have been through multiple settings but I absolutely CANNOT figure it out and it's driving me crazy!!! HELP!!!
