Happy New Year, well since I'm a newbie and not that good on android app coding.
I wanted to ask you if you can, and why have not you created something similare to zero messnger
You know about facebook zero right ? there are a lot of apps that bring us to zero facebook.
but no app to the messages only, even maybe notification about messages and well be able to see some liltte smiley ? it's just a dream app for us to have a free messenger app.

I'm looking for an app where I can chat with a group of 30+ friends on both android and iphone. We are currently using a Huddle in Google+ but it has become less and less reliable to the point of being unusable, so we need an alternative. I've also tried kik messenger and it worked well but conversations were limited to just 10 people. All we really need is a simple group chat and the option to send pictures.
If anyone could give me some recommendations I'd really appreciate it.
Me and my development team use palringo,
We have a team room of about 30
And a general room of about 200.
It Can do pictures and you can send voice messages as well.
However I do not know if it is available in ios though....

Groupme seems to be working well despite a somewhat annoying registration process.

I'm guessing some people here use the app Kik messenger and have some iphone friends that do too?
It's really annoying when they send their emoji emocations and u cannot see them, so I've been thinking if it's possible to do an app that makes emojis visible to android users.
There are already apps that work with kik, apps.kik.com ,and there's a kik api kik.com/dev/home.php , so i've been thinking maybe this is possible?
Maybe some of the devs on here knows if this is possible?

Understand that I'm a year late here lol:laugh: But Swiftkey now has emojis built in that you can use in any app. Download the beta here:

I've been using it with no problems and can confirm that my silly iPhone user friends can see the emojis with no issues
Edit: Emojis only work on Android 4.1+ however
As the title suggests, I just discovered tonight after almost 2 weeks of having the Z3TC, I can't reply to group messages in the stock messaging app. When I respond to a message, it goes out individually to everyone and they hate me for not staying in the conversation. Any workaround or solution?
I heard and scoured the web, and basically I just read I need to download and use a different messaging app. This is unbelievable. It's almost 2015 and this tablet didn't come stock with this?
It's not a deal breaker for me, but darn, it is really annoying and gets my Z3TC made fun of. If I have to resort to a 3rd party app, anyone have any particular preference and why?

Use the new Google messenger app or hangouts instead. The new Google Messenger app will probably become the new stock SMS app and it works great.

I'm coming over from iOS where there was a "tweak" called Essentials for Kik Messenger. It allowed you to disable the read receipts. I've looked around for a couple hours and couldn't find anything like it on Android. Any ideas guys?

I've also been looking for something like that for android and like you I also can't find anything
PiKik or Ghostkik have this features and more.

I have been searching for a way to group my contacts and be able to use them in multiple apps.
For example, I would like to be able to text, mail, messenger app (facebook) buddies in groups just in a few taps.
I have a galax s5 and mailen, texting groups is possible when making group in contacts app. I would also like to use the same groups in messenger (facebook), viber...
Does anyone know an app wo can join all these platforms. I realize that this is probably not possible with an app, maybe a custom rom?
