Hello! How can I install CM 14.1 from stock because I saw a lot of things like a new PIT or Kernel or I don't understands very well how to proceed. I know how to install a ROM like Omega on 4.1.2 but not CM 14.1 or 13. I have apolo kernel. Thanks.

I made it! Thank you!
But there is a problem. I can't install CM 14.1. It is stuck on "patching system image unconditionally". It was stuck the like 10 minutes.
EDIT: I installed CM 13 and I could, thank you very much!
And here is the full step-by-step tutorial

Not sure about cm, but I have run it on Task's rom, and Pac rom. Worked nice for both of those so it should work fine for you.

I don't use CM but my understanding is you must use the CM kernel that is installed with it. Maybe you should go over to the General forum and post a question in the [Firmware][SGH-I777][JB][4.1.1] CyanogenMod 10 preview | USER THREAD. There should be no restrictions on posting in that thread.

Thanks for the Replies now im using Sti Kernel and its runs very smootly and lots of custom Govenors with it
Cheers
Glad that worked for you.
So I tried installing googy max kernel 1.7.6 on CM 10.2 2013-10-23 nightlies. But when I reboot phone I get the message "Unfortunatley, the process com.android.phone, stopped."
I've googled a lot but I can't find anything. Does it not work to CM 10.2 nightly because googy kernel came out the 18th and the first nightly, at least the first one I can see, came out the 19th?
It's just a thought, but I would really appreciate some help.

Well, firstly I flashed over the ROM, but when it didn't work I tried a fresh install and that didn't work either.
But it looks like alot of people have this problem and the dev is looking into it.
Thanks though!

It's not CM10, it is CM11 Snapshot number 10. That means it's the newest stable version of CM.
You have to do a full wipe in the recovery and than install it.
This kernel because it gives you great battery life and also CM11 camera fix

Hi guys,
Trying to setup an i9100 for daily use but something that does not freeze and runs without any issue.
Currently have been using cm13 with lanchon kernel but I am finding that it does freeze a little.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated whether it be changing/over clocking the settings.
Also happy to try new thing and other roms.
Thanks for any help.

Try cm13 by marcox with or without dorimanx kernel, it runs smooth without the kernel, but if you want over clocking and cpu or Gpu adjustments use dorminax kernel with the rom, u can also try lineage Os 14.1, it's so smoother than cm13 official rom.

You can follow this post to update to LineageOS:
Post link
I'm a bit behind with the latest release of LineageOS nightlies as I'm on the Galaxy S5 currently, but I assume the process is the same.
Alternatively, if you are already happy with the stability and features (some are missing in Lineage) of CM13, just use CM13 by Markox. Don't flash any additional kernels to ensure maximum compatibility and stability.
