Redmi note 3 turns off automatically after 1-2 hours - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

My Redmi note 3 got switched off automatically and it doesn't turns on not even in fast boot mode. When I connect it to charger red light blinks. After keeping it on charging for 10-15 minutes fast boot mode opens and then I have to press power button for for 10 secs and it turns on and works fine for 1-2 hours and then again turns off. And I have to repeat the whole process again.

[Q] Help, Phone screen will not turn on

My phone was working perfectly fine until someone called my phone and the screen did not turn on so I kept pressing power hoping it would turn on. It would not turn on so I held the power button for 30 seconds to do a full reboot. 5 seconds later my phone vibrates, but the screen does not turn on. Now it is vibrating every 43 seconds non stop. I tried plugging in my charger to the phone, but the charging light does not light up.

Friends had the same issue. Hers is done for. Try holding the power and both volume up and down for two minutes. Then try to charge. Holding the buttons is supposed to reset the battery charge logic.

Ran out of battery and will not turn on

Two nights ago I forgot to charge my Nexus and when I woke up this morning, it didn't turn on or even flash the 'notification' light. I have been charging it for over 36 hours but it still hasn't turned on. No battery icon comes up and the light never flashes. What can I do?

On my 'old' Nexus 7 (2013) I have had the same experience once. I did manage it to get it on holding the power button for at least 60 seconds (!). Maybe this solution will work on the Nexus 9 ?
No, unfortunately it still didn't turn on
Unplug it and plug it back in a couple times, then try pressing and holding power + volume down to see if it gets into bootloader. If it does, select reboot / boot system and see what happens.

Sometimes charging for 24hrs off a usb1 or USB 2 computer port that only supplies 500 maH will bring a battery back to life.

For those still searching for a fix:
Hold both the volume buttons and the power button at the same time for 2 minutes.
leave the tab, and then after a minute, plug it on charge. it will start charging
Try another charger cable, it worked for me ?

Huawei G630 won't turn on after drained battery

I was using flashlight on my phone and battery was nearly dead. It suddenly drained completely, and after that I never got phone to boot up even after charging it for 5 hours. What happens when I plug it in is, LED lights flash in different colors one by one, red-green-blue red-green-blue, and so on endlessly. I tried holding down power button with volume buttons, first for 15-30 seconds, and then up to 2+ minutes and that didn't boot it up as well. What should I do to get my phone to turn on!?

Need help with a hanged Note 5 AI

Hi,
I’ve got a Note 5 AI (SD 636, dual rear camera) that I bought used from eBay, so don’t know much about its history. The phone worked just fine for a couple of days, then, and while I was watching a local video using MxPlayer the screen freezed, then turned black when I pushed to power button. The phone got hanged …….…. it was completely dead, couldn’t force it to power off, nothing happened when plugged to charger, no vibration, no led………
The phone came back to life the day after, when the battery has completely discharged……….so, I charged the phone, did a factory reset, applied all the updates and then launched again my video with MxPlayer, after about 30 min…BANG, hanged, and dead again.
My phone came back again when the battery discharged………after a complete charge, I launched my video using VLC this time and was able to loop the video for more than 8H without problems.
I thought to myself that for some reason my phone doesn’t like MxPlayer, not a big deal, I can live with that………. but yesterday, the bastard did it again, and this time I was watching YouTube. So, I’m waiting right now for the battery to discharge.
What annoys me more than the hanging problems is that I can’t force the phone to power off, I tried all possible buttons combinations without success.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks

I think you can restart phone holding power button for 10 or more seconds.. once you restart your phone, try to do a factory reset..

Fully discharge it and It will shut down I guess... But if that doesn't work you will need EDL flashing... There is a separate section for Redmi Note 5 AI (Whyred) you can share your problem there.
