If the latter, it's normal
It's normal, it's just a focus/camera actuator.
After looking here in the forum and other places, it is normal (since almost all honor 5x owners experience the same thing)

my phone does it when exiting the camera app, doesnt affect the performance so not too big a deal for me

Dangerous is when a blind man drives a car or jumping out from a airplane naked.
I dont think you will be harmed in any ways if you dont wipe.
Dont have a Arc S myself, but a friend does. He had some problems with a slow phone after updating to ICS. After a few days he gave the phone a last chance and wiped it, and not hes a happy user.
Only complaint he got is the higher battery usage.

It's not dangerous but many people reported very laggy devices and had to resort to re flashing with full wipe to resolve. You may be lucky though....

Scook is correct, its a quick job to reinstall stuff but worth it to avoid possible performance issues/glitches.

May or may not have had a SOD. I had it on the dock and when I picked it up I think it had to restart. All happened very quickly and it rebooted almost as quickly as when you punch the button to turn it on so I'm not sure what happened. No SOD for at least two hours and I'm not sure I had one.
It is definitely booting and rebooting on the dock. I've taken it off to see what it will do off the dock.
Ok maybe more guys can test and report back. Here is .510 ftf that should work without SOD

It is impossible. There is no solution to get 3G running yet. Unfortunately!

Hello, newbie arrived, but then I don't understand why there's a xubuntu rom with 3g working here.
I suppose xubuntu has it's own 3G drivers?
I tried KatKiss 6.x (don't remember the exact version number) for TF300T without 3G, then installed "ppp widget 2" (or "ppp widget 3"?) from Google Play and started 3g manually from this application (widget). Android will not automatically switch from Wi-Fi internet to 3G internet (as like in stock), you must switch it manually. Some bugs discovered, for example, I could connect 3G and disconnect only once, when I want to connect 3G again, I had to reboot. device. Maybe will work on some other firmwares?

any progress in this area? I have this model with 3g but at the moment i have clean orginal os from ASUS and it shows that i don't have sim card. after I put it nothigs starts. Any ideas how to configure APN?
And have you testes some new soft for this model?
i suppose it's physically defect with SIM card, or try another os (like KatKiss 6.x)

I'm very tempted with the x829 now seems much cheaper than the x820/822 for larger gb. I wonder if this would work for the x829 to unlock additional lte bands: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/guide-unlock-bands-leeco-le-max-2-fix-t3439154
i bought it for 355€ incl. shipping.
beside the screen flickering from time to time i'm very satisfied. the flickering is no big deal and i believe it's a software/driver issue.
ressurrection remix runs perfectly smooth on it. i would recommend it for the price.

seems to be the same hardware, just pimped with more rom/ram. i assume the method will work on any variant but i haven't tried.

That's a lot of money just for some more RAM and Storage, my 4GB/32GB rosegold only cost 197€ incl shipping + insurance delivered to my door, no extra fees or taxes.
PS: No screen flickering here, only a FP sensor that falls asleep.

gearbest had it for 180€ a while ago. ram would be enough but not enough storage.
i have 20 gb left of 128, so the 32gb version is a nogo.
btw, lte band 20 is unlocked by default.

Dear friends, I am very interested in buying the model le max 2 but I am with a doubt, the x829 version is the best cost benefit among the options of 4gb of ram for being cheaper and bigger storage and I am really sure to buy this version but the My doubt is between the psossibilities of custom rom and wanted to know if it is possible to install any rom in this version x829 with 4gb and as I come from a oneplus one this question is very important for me when it comes to acquiring it. The x829 has the same hardware as the x820 so you shouldn't have any problems with flashing ROMs or whatever. Realize that some ROMs say that are functional with x82x phones. Anyway lots of people ordered this specific model some days ago when its price became similar to the x820 but with more storage. Within the next weekes people will recieve them and discuss any problem that could happen. Just take a look before flashing for ensure that everything is OK.
