Has anyone succeeded in relocking the bootloader yet? Last time I checked, everyone was having trouble finding the signed boot.img and recovery.img files.

did you get a new token or are you trying an old one? you might need to re submit the token to htcdev and get a new unlock.bin code.
Hello guys, I have a weird issue
Few weeks ago I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP, rooted, flashed a kernel, etc. All went fine. Today I tried to flash an updated TWRP via fastboot and it tells me the bootloader is locked! I've seen some people with the same problem, can anybody help!?
Thanks in advance :good:
nobody faced the same issue? In other forum someone had the same problem and had to unlock again the bootloader after flashing back the stock recovery but, what causes the issue of the bootloader re-locked out of nowhere, when TWRP, root... everything is working just fine?
Just unlock it again? also it's way easier to flash recoverys with Flashify
unlocking it again will wipe my data, and also it's not sure it will re-lock itself again. I would like to be able to use fastboot in case I have to flash sth using it
title thanks
No, the ROM itself does not lock the bootloader unless it contains Firmware files (specifically, the emmc_appsboot file). Now, the mere presence of such files does not mean that your bootloader will be re-locked. Every MIUI ROM has these files but it does not relock the bootloader if it was officially unlocked. But, if unofficially unlocked, you should look out for those files.
the title basically says it all. I locked the bootloader post flashing TWRP. now attempts to unlock the bootloader lead to a success message in the terminal but checking the bootloader shows me that the bootloader hasn't unlocked.
solved the problem by flashing stock recovery .img via twrp and then unlocking bootloader
Does anyone have a method of re-locking the bootloader of ZB553KL/ZD553KL or remove the bootloader warning splashscreen?
You can relock the bootloader through fastboot (fastboot oem lock), but make sure all your images are original or you'll bootloop until you unlock the bootloader again, which sometimes can't be done through fastboot.
