Hey guys, has anyone ever seen this? I set up daydream and all audio gets permadently muted on my phone. I can wipe data from the google vr services and it comes back but enxt time i use daydream the same thing happens.
i am fully stock on a pixel xl running 7.1.1 with the latest January updates. Same occurred before this weeks security updates.
never mind i fixed it by going into vr helper services and untoggling and retoggling the google vr services option.

Youtube is in sync even my videos playing through mxplayer and music aswell but when I play games, audio tends to delay for like a second. It's bothering me, I did try turning off wifi and scan nearby devices and still the same results. Tried 3 bluetooth earphones so far and all of them delays. Even my samsung level active on aptx codec. Is there anyway to fix this? will changing rom fix this? settings on changing the codec doesn't seem to stick.

A little bit different of a situation that I've got here, but I, too, began to notice the Bluetooth lag issue when playing music from my phone on my pioneer head unit after updating to the One UI beta. It got to the point where I couldn't even skip tracks and the album/artist/song title wouldn't even show up on it either. It just said "No Data Provided"
Anyway, I restored an old smartswitch backup and everything was working like it was supposed to again. I finally just re-updated to pie again, hoping that whatever was goin on with the Bluetooth in the beta would be fixed in this "Official" Pie update....yeah, not so much
meet the problem once i was playing PUBG, and solved with Pie.
Hello Everyone!!
Recently i flashed both AOSP 9.0 and LOS 16 on my Redmi Note 4 and both of them worked pretty well. Except for a few things. During my testing i came across two major problems in both the roms which are as follows:
1. Calls audio isn't routed through Bluetooth. I got my Samsung Level U and media volume works just fine but call audio. Naaa it just plays through the speaker. I did checked my settings and tried a few fixes i found on the internet with no luck.
2. Google Assistant isn't working. I long press home button and nothing happens at all. Home button doesn't even open Google App. I download Google Assistant through play store and whenever i click on the icon it just opens google app instead of Google Assistant. I went to the settings and made sure Google Assistant was enabled but again no luck.
I know that the ROMs are in early stage but if anyone found any workaround these problems just lemme know down in the comments.
Thanks
1) is probably bug, for 2) just use button remapper app.

Yep button remapper somehow enabled google assistant which is weird because i dont know why Google Assistant app couldn't do so.
And the first one is really a bug. I did try using a different headset and audio was routed through it but it was extremely distorted. I mean literally it was totally noise and no distinguished voice so that's still a issue.
Anybody know of any custom ROMs with built in airpods support? (auto pause and play when one is removed, notification, battery status) I've tried apps from the play store but they can be unreliable. I believe airpods could work perfectly with Android if baked in at the system level, or an Xposed module. Thanks!
I use my Mi A3 with Android Auto in the car, but don't have an Android Auto compatible car radio - so just use the phone screen and bluetooth for streaming audio to my car.
This works great on previous phones, and worked fine on the Mi A3 under a custom rom (Pixel Experience) but on the stock rom it doesn't work correctly.
The Google Assistant navigation guidance and voice responses are WAY too loud - like the volume for the stream is set to 10, compared to like 4 or 5 for everything else like spotify.
My bluetooth volume (on the phone) is set to max, and i set a comfortable listening level on my car radio with spotify playing - but when Google speaks its so loud it's distorted!
Does anyone have any idea why this occurs on the stock rom only, and how it could be fixed? - I've tested with my wifes car and it does the exact same..
Edit - it's worth pointing out I've checked Google assistant launched from the OS (not in Android Auto) and the volume is fine. However as I pointed out earlier - Android Auto volume is fine on custom ROMs.. suggesting this is a stock OS issue.
Nobody else have this issue?
So, if I play music through headphone jack with the QUAD DAC on for what seems to be at least five minutes, notification sounds no longer work until I reboot the phone.
By no longer work, I mean there is no audible sound at all. It's for all notifications, including the ringtone, and I can't play them by going into notification settings and trying to play them directly there.
If something comes in, the music will lower to allow the notification to play, nut no sound comes from it.
The weird thing, all music and in app sounds continue to work just fine.
I have the same problem. I think its a Android 10 issue. Not hardware related.
LG may have thought about this and made it default to not allow notifications to play over headsets to interrupt your experience....
I wish there was an option to enable or disable.

Only issue with that theory is that I am running Android 11, and have been from the start. Got the phone, went through the setup just enough to get it updated. Then did a factory reset once there were no more updates.
