I unlocked the boot loader from official website. Now I have checked all the tutorials are for rooting Miui 7 on android 5.1.
It requires adb flashing the modded boot.img and recovery.img.
But I can't find the boot.img for android 6.0.
If I flash just the recovery.img, some reported that the phone will go into bootloop.
I haven't able to find the online tutorial for rooting on android 6.0.
Please advice! Thanks a bunch!
TIA

Cant update to miui8 stable 8.0.1.0 rom from dev rom 6.8.18.Updater shows can't verify the file.SC is attached
I am on Global developer rom latest 6.8.16 in RN3 SD and tried to install through updater app "choose update package"but it says couldn't verify the package. Unlocked and I switched from stable to developer just by updater app only. Confused any suggestion?
Download the fastboot rom of global stable 8.0.1.0 flash via EDL method if your phone is locked.
If you have unlocked your phone flash it via fastboot method.
Link for the both methods with steps please. Thanks in advance

All of Samsung devices come with unlocked bootloader, Aren't they?
If it has an unlocked bootloader see if you can find a twrp or cwm tar file
Assuming you find it flash the custom recovery in Odin
Then boot to recovery and flash a super su zip file
